Chapter 6: The Tomb
In Heroes of Invincible, there are many achievements that can be obtained as long as you meet certain requirements.
Only one achievement can be worn at a time. After obtaining the achievement, even if you don't wear it, you can get some attribute rewards, and of course you will get more rewards by wearing it.
Since achievements can add a series of stat bonuses to a character, some special achievements can even directly provide skill points and special attributes to the player. Achievement, so to speak, the more the merrier.
In order to distinguish the rarity of achievements, and also to allow players to compete with each other, the game has officially introduced the definition of racing achievements. That is, the earlier the achievement is obtained, the stronger the collateral effect.
For example, Rhodes' current achievement [Warrior's Heart] is a racing achievement. The base reward for this achievement may only be +1 Strength, and +1 Strength when worn. But with the blessing of racing, it has become a strength +1, speed +1, and constitution +1 after wearing. Compared to the normal achievement, the racing achievement has a series of additional bonuses.
Rod's joy is not only because he has obtained the achievement of [Warrior's Heart], but more importantly, since he can obtain the [Warrior's Heart] racing achievement, other racing achievements can be obtained.
In other words, those well-known achievements in the game in the previous life, no one in this life competes with you, as long as you steadily improve your strength, all the achievements obtained are racing achievements.
With experience in previous games, Rhodes understands what it means to be able to earn a series of races. Lots of stat bonuses, a wide variety of buff states...... What's more, because no one will compete with you for racing achievements, you just need to steadily improve to get all of them.
This thought made Rhodes unable to calm down for a long time, and after a while he realized that he was still in the tomb and that the necromancer could return at any time, so he suppressed the excitement in his heart and stood up.
Rod wore the achievement [Warrior's Heart], and his strength increased by two points at once, and his speed and physique also increased by one point, which was equivalent to the bonus brought by all the attribute points of the four levels, which made Rode's strength a lot improved. A full 4 stat bonus that doesn't conflict with any other buffs, which shows how much the achievement can do for the character.
Rod felt a new force burst out of his body, but the physique attributes brought by the achievement could not restore the health and physical strength of the body, and Rode's health value was still maintained at about half blood.
After looking at his stats panel, Rhodes decided to save his experience points to increase his class level.
Generally speaking, the increase in class level at the lower level is better than that of combat skills. When the rank is not high, the role of attributes and special skills is significantly greater than that of combat skills. Combat skills can only increase damage to a limited extent unless they reach a certain stage, but special skills allow them to defeat enemies that are otherwise difficult to defeat.
Rhodes went to the skeleton warrior's broken bones and found its previous equipment from its corpse and on the ground next to it, an iron sword, a one-handed iron round shield, and an iron cuirass.
Looking at the sword he was holding in his hand, the originally rusty iron sword was full of cracks at this time, and it was estimated that it would break by itself after a few more chops, so Rod decisively threw the sword aside and replaced it with the intact iron sword of the skeleton warrior.
As for the cuirass and shield, Rhodes was not equipped. Cuirass equipment consumes a lot of physique, especially this kind of iron armor that is built purely by hardness, which is particularly cumbersome. No more than a skeleton warrior, according to Rod's current attributes, it may be difficult to even charge after wearing it, let alone flexibly dodge in battle.
As for whether to equip the shield or not, Rhodes thought about it for a moment and made a decision. In the current battle, Rhodes relied more on swordsmanship than on holding a shield to block and fight. Coupled with the attributes of the achievement he has obtained so far, it is no longer a problem to deal with ordinary skeleton soldiers and walking corpses, and wearing a shield will only consume meaningless physical strength.
…………
【Iron Sword of the Skeleton Warrior】
Equipment Requirements: None
Basic attributes: +7 kill, 9/15 durability
Evaluation: One of the three-piece skeleton warriors, the weapon that all skeleton soldiers aspire to.

After sorting out the gains from the battle, Rhodes began to move on, and after the hall there was a narrow path, and the road under his feet was not as smooth as before, but had a certain angle. Although he didn't see the end, Rhodes knew that the exit was not far away.
After continuing for a while, three walking corpses appeared in the passage ahead. Unlike the skeletons, when Rhodes first saw the walking corpse, the walking corpse spotted Rhodes and swarmed Rhodes.
Rhodes was not afraid. Instead of restricting Rod's physical strength, the narrow passage made it impossible for the walking corpses to take advantage of their numbers, and they could only rush towards Rhodes one after another in the passage.
The Walking Corpse has low speed, but high health. Originally, Rhodes could have consumed him to death without injury, but after obtaining the attributes attached to the [Warrior's Heart], he was even more handy to deal with the walking corpse.
Due to the narrow passage, Rhodes did not choose the regular slash, but relied on a straight stab, and then retreated with his own speed, and in this way, he cleared the three walking corpses in the passage.
Killing three walking corpses earned Rhodes 45 XP. Since the experience points had reached the criteria for leveling up, Rhodes opened the stats panel.
"Consume 50 XP and have 25 XP remaining. Raise your class level to Tier 1 Militia Level 6......"
"Get 1 free attribute point, get 1 skill point......"
Since the current attributes are temporarily sufficient, neither the attribute points nor the skill points Rhodes have been allocated.
As he progressed, Rhodes did not encounter any more undead creatures. The slope of the passage became higher and higher, and soon Rhodes reached the end of the passage.
Realizing that there would be no other undead creatures in the passage, Rhodes couldn't help but feel a pity, according to his current attributes, even skeleton warriors could defeat, but there were no other undead creatures here.
Rod sighed, low-level undead creatures are too weak without the control of a necromancer, and it will be difficult to encounter such a good opportunity next time.
Coming to the end of the passage, Rod could touch the dirt on the ground above his head as soon as he stretched out his hand, and Rod stabbed the ground above his head with his sword a few times, making a big opening, and then climbed up.
Come to the surface. With only fluorescent vision in the tomb, it took him some time to get used to the outside light. The strong light from the outside world made Rod have to squint his eyes, and it took a while to get used to it.
Rod looked around. It was a slightly shady forest, and the trees in the forest were unusually tall, and there was a large tree right next to the exit of the tomb, and the main part required four or five people to hold onto it. Sunlight barely shines directly into the ground through the leaves. The climate in the forest is humid, and Rhodes can clearly feel the moisture in the air.
Rhodes looked back at the passage of the tomb that had climbed out, which was under several large trees. The dirt on the surface next to it showed signs of fresh turning, which should have been done by the necromancer after leaving the tomb, and the surrounding grass was a mess. Aside from these traces, it is difficult to tell from the appearance that there is a tomb buried here.
"I don't know how long it will take for the necromancer apprentice to return. It had taken me a long time from waking up to coming out of the grave. Based on the signs I observed the corpses in the tomb before I came out, he should be back today to activate the walking corpses. Let's get out of here before he comes back......"
Just as Rod was about to leave, he suddenly seemed to think of something, suddenly looked back at the big tree next to the tomb, and then looked at the passage of the tomb that he climbed out, and the next moment, a thought welled up in Rode's heart......
