Chapter 214. Shadow of Innsmouth
Hearing Suzuka's words, Natsume's poetry was suddenly startled.
She looked at her arm.
The cuffs of the white coat reveal the small half of the forearms and wrists.
On the wrist, I don't know when, it has been stained with that weird color.
Meanwhile.
The colors in the well began to stir.
"Good ......"
Natsume's poetry didn't care about the color on his hands, because the whole forest was exuding the same color at the moment.
The bewitching flowers, the moss on the ground, the huge insects flying around, the twisted trees, all flowed with heterogeneous colors.
The whole forest, is boiling!
Buzz –
In the well, a light burst into the sky.
In Natsume's eyes, even Suzuka began to twist, like an eight-legged spider.
She was a little dizzy.
Next to the well, there is a gravel path.
The light poured out like a tide, and Natsume shook her head, and the Suzuka in her vision returned to normal.
"It should be this way."
The world is eroded by the wrong colors, and Natsume Yui takes a look at the light in his hand, pulls Suzuka and runs wildly from the path.
Behind him, the entire forest was swallowed up by that strange color, and Natsume Yushi found himself climbing a hill.
Panting to a place near the end of the road.
Natsume turned around and found that the forest was now enveloped in psychedelic flames.
Everything is gone.
Reduced to a scorched field.
Bang –
In front of the two of them, a door suddenly shut, isolating the scorching color from the outside.
It turned out that they had unknowingly followed the road to an entrance.
It was even darker, and Natsume shone a flashlight on her arm, the dazzling colors were gone, only something slightly sticky to her skin, wiped off with a handkerchief.
"Is it a fluorescent?"
Natsume's poetry was still a little apprehensive about what she had just seen, but she quickly thought about it.
After all, this is a haunted house, and it must be all kinds of tricks and special effects.
Whoop -
As I was thinking this, I heard the sound of waves from ahead.
"Is there really a sea?"
Natsume's poetry recalls a little, and the third area seems to be called the shadow of the Indian furball, a story that happened in the sea?
The two of them walked two steps along the road and saw an old wooden ladder with kelp hanging from it.
Climbing up the wooden ladder, you can see several low huts and the sea beyond.
The scene is set in the middle of the night, the moonlit sea, sparkling, the tide crashing against the shore, making a regular sound of waves.
The inside of the hut is lit up, and it looks like a small fishing village.
"Do you really want to dive this time?"
Natsume poetry was a little skeptical.
To be honest, the first two areas are indeed a little scary.
This horror is not only the horror of a thriller, but the horror of the visual and sound effects.
It's also different from some connotative horror stories that require careful thinking before feeling scared.
This horror is more like the result of some incomprehensible wound to the intellect.
The more curious you are, the more horrified you will be by the sights.
The more curious you are, the more you can't get an answer.
Just like the strange colors in the forest before, Natsume's poetry feels a chill even when she thinks about it now.
"Is anyone there?"
While Natsume's poetry was thinking, the smuggling Suzuka had already come to the door of one of the huts and knocked on the door.
"Hey, this will trigger some bad events!"
Natsume's poetry was too late to stop it.
Generally in horror movies, this kind of random knocking on the door probe will mostly raise a flag and attract retribution in a short time.
Although this is a haunted house, a haunted house also distinguishes between a dead haunted house and a regular haunted house.
If Natsume poetry and Suzuka hadn't escaped along that path just now, it is estimated that they would have been picked up by the staff by now.
Knock Knock Knock –
There was a knock on the door, and the lights in the room reflected moving figures.
"What's the matter?"
A low, muffled voice came from inside.
"Can we go into the house?"
Suzuka thought for a moment and asked.
"Outlanders are not welcome here."
An indifferent voice came from the room.
"Is there a mechanism here that triggers the plot to enter the house?"
Suzuka muttered as she bit her fingers.
"It's not an RPG, and I always think it's better not to go into the house."
The sea breeze was a little cold, and Natsume shrunk her neck.
Soon, they discovered that there was a room with the door open and unoccupied.
One person and one deer looked at the secluded sea, and decided to take a look in the house first.
Close the door and turn on the light, you can see that the things in the house are very messy, and the owner seems to be in a hurry and has no time to clean up.
On the table, there is a notebook spread out.
There was some scribbled handwriting on it, and Natsume Yuki glanced at it casually, it seemed to be the diary of someone who lived here an hour later and left his hometown when he grew up.
The above is a simple introduction to some of the small town called Innsmouth, as well as all kinds of strange events.
The owner of the diary grows up and returns to the town, but is plagued by nightmares, and in the end, the diary is interrupted, and no one knows where the owner of the diary has gone.
In addition to these that can be understood, there are many hieroglyphic things in the diary that Natsume's poetry does not recognize.
"It's a little weird......"
Natsume Yushi asked Suzuka to look at the diary, and then went to check the contents on the shelf.
There were cutlery, some oddly shaped ornaments, cracked mirrors, and a picture frame on which what appeared to be a group photo.
It was at this time.
The moonlight outside suddenly dimmed.
"Something seems to ......"
Suzuka looked up and looked out the window.
From the sea.
Out of the dark, endless sea, some strange creature crawled ashore from the water.
The guys had stiff scales, a smooth, wet body, a high ridge on their backs, hands and feet that were much longer than normal, and webbed between their knuckles, and at first glance looked more like swimmers in high-tech swimsuits.
Provided that the heads of those guys are not seen.
Its head is not humanoid, but like an enlarged fish, with large, protruding eyes and gills that open and close.
The Fish-Man is like the Fish-Man that often appears in the games played by Suzuka.
One person and one deer hurriedly turned off the lights and hid under the window.
Bang, bang-
The monsters seemed to be knocking on doors, and could hear the sound of the windows being pounded violently.
Cluck, c
Outside the wooden door, there was the sound of tooth-aching fingernails scratching the wooden board, and Natsume stared at the door a little nervously, not daring to make a sound.
There seemed to be wailing and screaming in the distance, as well as the sound of weeping, shaking people's wills.
Even the earth began to tremble, as if an earthquake had occurred.
It wasn't until I don't know how long it took for silence to return outside.
The moonlight fell again, and Natsume waited a little longer before looking out of the window.
“!”
There's no such thing as a scary face looking inside.
Natsume's poetry only saw the waves of the originally calm sea in the moonlight.
At the center of the waves, there is a huge city, standing in the middle of the sea.
"What does that mean to let us pass?"
Natsume looked at the slightly silent city, and then at the shore, where a small boat was parked.
