The second episode concludes and takes a leave of absence

This is the end of the second episode, "Welcome to Rest in Rest".

Demon Slayer is not my first work, and it is by no means ideal in terms of results, but of all my creative experiences up to this day, this book is the most satisfying for me. Everything I learned in my last book is reflected in this book. Although I could vaguely hear critics saying that "I don't have the aura I used to have", and even a friend repeatedly told me that "it's not as good as before", but this time I didn't have any negativity. It's hard for me to convey this sentiment completely. If I put it into words, I can only say this: In the past three years, I have fallen into a creative trough, and I have been disappointed with my own barren imagination. No matter what story is created, this pessimism cannot be overcome. If creating a story is the work of building a house, then in the past I just messed up a lot of construction waste all over the place. But now I've finally found the real feel for building a house. I found something like a house structure in my own story, which was completely different from the feeling of feeling like mud in the past.

It is said to be "structure", but what is the so-called story structure? I've never studied creation systematically, and when I misuse the word "structure" here, I can't help but worry if it's my own passion. But let's use it shamelessly here, the presence or absence of structure is the decisive difference between me today and me in the past. It is precisely because of this structure that I don't know if it can be called a structure that I am able to tell the story I want to tell well.

Tell the story you want to tell – that's quite difficult in my opinion. In the past, I always drew tigers instead of anti-dogs. In other words, they can't tell the wonderful stories that appear in their heads in their own minds. Nowadays, although I have not been able to reach the realm of "drawing tigers", I seem to know how to draw tiger stripes. To use another analogy, I used to want to make an iron sword, but in the end I ended up making a wooden stick, but now I seem to be able to make a wooden sword. I am encouraged by this progress (and hopefully not an illusion). It's really encouraging.

It's a pity that I'm still the same person with a poor imagination and a lack of creative talent, and although I've been trying to conceive the story of the third episode for three days of serializing "Flax and Helen" (I can't say that this short story was improvised to buy time for the third episode), I still haven't been able to finish it.

It takes some time to think about it afterwards...... Well, how long is it, is three days enough? All in all, it won't be long.

Occasionally, I can see comments saying that I am hilarious. I don't deny that, because I'm really self-centered. Writing a book is also based on being happy, otherwise I wouldn't have chosen the first person, let alone writing about a protagonist like Xu Fu. The reason why I write it is because I am the kind of person who is a mess in middle two.

But for me, the happiest thing is to be able to let more people know why I'm so happy.

In the future, if I get into a serious stuckness on the issue of a new story, I may inevitably put my pen to paper, but at least in the middle of the same episode, I will try to keep updating as much as possible, in fact, the first two episodes have not been interrupted. Having said that, this is a matter of course for the starting point author, but it's better to say that my update speed is already slow. Occasionally, I worry that I am too slow to update, and readers will forget the previous plot.

For example, while the connection between the beginning and the end of "Welcome to the Town of Rest" is something that everyone is aware of, the fact that "Welcome to the Town of Rest (24)" and "From Two Days Later" does not seem to be recognized by some readers. Although that was a foreshadowing of my pride, after all, more than 20 days have passed in reality. This is also probably the fault of my slow update. So sometimes readers say "fatten up and watch again", and I think it's a good idea.

But I'd be sad if I didn't have a reader writing a chapter review in the latest chapter. It's really contradictory.

The term "Secondary 2" was mentioned earlier. In addition to Carvin, I also reviewed Xu Fu's setting so far:

Practicing ancient martial arts since childhood;

At the age of fourteen or fifteen, he began to roam the dark world as a killer;

On the surface, he is a high school student who is harmless to humans and animals, but in fact he is a terrifying and ruthless character in the dark world;

has a split personality tendency, and once fell into a frenzy;

There is an unknown power (blood power) lurking in the body;

Having a secret of life that cannot be told to others (from another world);

Usually wears an eye patch on the right eye;

Stay in touch with the evil gods of the other universe;

was once betrayed by his most trusted partner, so he retired, and then reappeared;

is being coveted by the world's premier dark organization;

……

No, wait, even me ......

In the design stage of the new book, the "blood sacrifice ceremony" that is the golden finger of the book was just a "card drawing ceremony" at the beginning. What I mean by this is that the protagonist was originally intended to be a "player who has traveled to the world of mobile games". Although he didn't have any golden fingers, he quickly recalled that the card drawing in the mobile game he was playing was shown as some kind of "ancient and mysterious ritual" in the game's plot, and this ritual was like a Naruto spiral pill with specific layout details. So he used the card drawing ceremony as a golden finger in the mobile game world. Unlike Xu Fu, he is a magazine editor with a really friendly personality.

However, for some reason, as soon as the pen is written, the mobile game gacha ritual becomes the blood sacrifice ritual of the Cthulhu system, and the background of the mobile game world is suddenly gone, and the monologue of the friendly protagonist at the end of the first chapter is changed to "Damn it anyway, why don't you use it as my stepping stone"......

Uh, what the hell went wrong?

Although I didn't go in the direction of "Inception" when I conceived "Welcome to Rest Town", I did conceive it after watching "Inception". And "Chloe. DiCaprio" is followed by the surname "Leonardo. DiCaprio". Because I'm really not good at names.

The name "Adam" has nothing to do with Adam from the previous game, but I think the contradiction of "being called Adam even though she is a woman" is interesting. And the name of the prophet in the case of abolition is "The Hanged Man". But I think there are Facelings, and another upside-down hangman would crash too hard. Although "The Master of Mystery" is almost the perfect web novel in my mind, if a reader has two serialized novels with an upside-down hanged man on the shelf at the same time, it is inevitable that they will have a crossover smell and then want to lose one of them. If it were me, I would definitely lose myself. "Master of Mystery" is really good.

At the same time, the prototype of the "Fugu Hotel" is indeed the "Dolphin Hotel" in "The Adventure of Sheep Hunting" and "Dance Dance Dance", and the name "flax" comes from the lost cat in "Kafka by the Sea". And the reason why Inoue Renta in high school was so hostile to love and marriage was because I took the time to watch "Street of Dawn" during that time.

It seems to be on the shelves soon, come on, myself!
