Chapter 43: The Burial

At this time, Oswald Copperpat was sitting in a chair, looking at the only photo of himself and his mother, Oswald Copperpat's tears flowed, and his eyes smashed on the frame.

"You are my only consolation, only you will care about me, alas, but I will put the ruby necklace you like in your grave." Oswald Copperpat placed the frame on the table.

"Boss, is there anything you have to do with me?" Several strong men walked into Oswald Copperpat's office, and Oswald Copperpat handed them a photo of a ruby necklace.

"I want this." Oswald Copperpat said, pointing to the necklace in the photo, and several strong men looked at the photo and left the office.

"Don't worry, we'll bring you back tonight." A few strong men posed for the picture and said.

"Do it cleanly. Money, it doesn't matter. Oswald Copperpat said to the strong men.

The strong man left the office, and Oswald Copperpat sat in the office, staring closely at the door of the office, and at midnight, Oswald Copperpat stepped out of his chair and began to pace repeatedly.

At this moment the door was pushed open, and the brawny men placed the ruby necklace in the photograph on the table, and Oswald Copperpat walked to the table, picked up the necklace and began to examine it carefully.

"Next time, it's cleaner, it's still bloodstained." Oswald Copperpat took out the handkerchief he had with him and wiped the blood from the necklace.

Oswald Copperpat took the necklace in his arms and walked into his mother's funeral hall, where Oswald Copperpat opened the lid of the coffin and placed the necklace around his mother's neck.

"Sorry Mom, Mother's Day presents are late." Oswald Copperpat kissed his mother's face. The coffin is then closed.

As dawn approaches, Batman comes to the end of an alley, and at the end lie two corpses, a man and a woman, one of whom is dressed in a gorgeous costume.

"Judging by the marks on his neck, he should be wearing a necklace." Batman looks at the neck of the female corpse, which has a ring of necklace on it.

"There is basically not much blood on the upper body, so their purpose should be her necklace." Batman looks at the woman's corpse.

Batman examines the woman's body again. Batman then got up and left the alley to an auction house, where Batman entered through the back window.

"What do you want to come, sir? We've got it all. "A man came to Batman's side, Batman was in the shadows, and when the man walked up to Batman's side, he regretted it.

"I want to know who wants this person's necklace?" Batman asked, grabbing the man's collar and holding the necklace of the woman's corpse.

"Sorry, it's a customer secret I can't say." The man stiffened his mouth, and Batman tied him to a chair and began the interrogation.

"Are you willing to say it now?" Batman asked the man in front of him, who had a blue nose and swollen face.

"Leave me alone, big brother, I'm going to check the file for the customer information." The man cried.

"Hurry up." Batman untied the man, and then followed the man into the archive room, where the man expertly pulled out the file and handed it to Batman.

"Oswald Copperpat?" Batman looked at the buyer on file, then left the auction floor and drove in the direction of the Iceberg Club.

"I'm sorry, sir, but I need to make an appointment to see our boss." A strong man stops Batman.

"Tell him that the bats want to see him." Batman looked at the strong man and said, as soon as the strong man heard Batman's name, he attacked behind him.

Batman takes advantage of his strength and throws him to the ground with a back fall, and Batman then breaks into Oswald Copperpat's office.

"I've been waiting for you for a long time, Batman." A coquettish female voice came from Oswald's office chair, and in the office was a group of bodyguards waiting for him.

"What about the penguins?" Batman posed and asked the woman.

"Boss, he doesn't want anyone to bother him right now, so I can't say that." Oswald Copperpat's female secretary got out of her office chair and looked at Batman, and in a moment the bodyguards rushed forward.

"Pretty strong." The female secretary put the notebook in her hand on the desk, looked at Batman, and then said, at this time, the bodyguards in the room have been dealt with.

"Do you want to fight me too?" Batman asked the female secretary, at this time, Batman's breath was stable, and it basically didn't take him much effort to deal with the dozen or so bodyguards.

"Of course, the boss doesn't want anyone to bother him now." The female secretary ties her hair back and then attacks Batman.

"It's good, but it's not strong." Batman took the female secretary's kick and said. After saying that, he threw the female secretary to the ground.

When Batman wanted to turn around and leave, the female secretary behind him got up and rushed behind Batman, and the female secretary hugged Batman from behind and fell directly on the back.

"It's tenacious." Batman hits the female secretary in the back from behind. Even so, the female secretary still threw Batman to the ground.

Batman got up and rubbed his smashed back, searching for clues on Oswald Copperpat's desk as he rubbed his back.

"Auslin Cemetery." Batman finds an itinerary from his desk, which reads "Oslin Cemetery" and Batman gets on the Batmobile.

At this time, Oswald Copperpat was kneeling in front of his mother's tombstone, quietly watching his mother's coffin be buried. The sky was getting darker.

By this time, Batman had already driven to the gate of the cemetery. Batman walked slowly behind Oswald Copperpat.

"Did you kill those two for the necklace?" Batman stands with Oswald Copperpart, who is kneeling in front of the tombstone.

"What are you talking about? I don't understand it, and I need proof. Oswald Copperpat, with his eyes closed, fell silently to his mother's tombstone.

"Do you want me to find it out and see?" Batman gasped and spoke to Oswald Copperpat.

"If you dare, I'd rather fight with you." Oswald Copperparter turned around, holding the umbrella he had been carrying, staring at Batman with red eyes.

Batman looked at Oswald Copperpat's red eyes, then sighed and sat down. Look at the tombstone of Oswald Copperpat's mother.

"Don't be so nervous, your female secretary made me drink a full pot." Batman said, rubbing his back.

"I adopted him from an orphanage, and he has been training since he was a child, so naturally he can let you drink a pot." Oswald Copperparter closed his eyes and said to Batman.

The two were speechless, and after a few moments, Batman got up and left the cemetery. Batman gets into the Batmobile and leans back in the driver's seat.

"The necklace is definitely in Oswald Copperpot's hand, there is no way to dig a grave." Batman whispers as the Batmobile returns to the Batcave.

Batman returns to the Batcave, where Batman gets out of the car and lies on the ground. At this time, the butler Alfred saw Bruce Wayne lying on the ground.

"Master Bruce, what's going on? The damage to your back is not minor, it is clearly a fall, what happened? Accident or something else? Alfred took off Batman's gear and carried him to a hospital bed.

"At that time, I was a little underestimated, so I was thrown on the back, which led to this situation." Bruce Wayne whispered, recalling the previous situation when he was knocked down by the female secretary, and said helplessly.

"Really? Alright then, Master Bruce, I can only help you relieve a little, and then bring in a doctor to help you treat it well. "Alfred helped Bruce Wayne ease things a bit.

A doctor arrives at Wayne Manor to treat Bruce Wayne's back injury, which was caused by a fall on the ground while exercising vigorously with a cover girl.
