Chapter 14: The Dragonpower Warrior Plan
Reed Jennings returned from a short sabbatical to the city of Saroyan in the Duchy of Marcellus from the Flominque Empire.
Reed Jennings is no longer a member of the Royal Musketeer Order. The 1st Royal Musketeer Division withdrew to its homeland after the establishment of the Duchy, and as a coercion of the Saroyan Incident, Reed was naturally not eligible to remain in the ranks of the Royal Musketeers.
The Emperor kept his promise and did not hold anyone responsible for the Saroyan incident, but the members of the Jennings family lost their public positions. Viscount Jennings left his post and returned to his estate, expressing extreme anger at the fact that both of his sons had chosen to betray the Empire. Reed, in particular, spent every day in his father's anger during the few days he spent on leave to visit his family.
At the end of the holiday, Reed boarded the train back to Saroyan, and no one in the family came to see him off at his father's behest.
Even if he put the family in trouble and made his father feel that the family's honor had been tarnished, Reed still did not regret his actions. If you don't come to Saroyan, you don't know how backward the empire has become, and if the nobles don't want to cease to be nobles one day, they have to make changes that adapt to the times.
Besides, things are more complex and mysterious here in Saroyan, and Reed knows that this place is full of unimaginable opportunities.
After retiring from the Empire, Reed joined the Order Star Space Directorate, established by Duke Whitehead, and became a pilot of the Silver Wing Mech. The all-new Silver Wing mech completely subverts Reed's perception of the Silver Wing, and the regular Silver Wing has eliminated the defensive part of the pilot in order to reduce the load as much as possible. Reed couldn't figure out how the Silver Wing Mech could fly so fast with the addition of fully wrapped armor to protect the pilot.
There are also various functions in the Silver Wing Mecha, all of which are concentrated in a thick booklet, requiring each Mecha Pilot to memorize all of them and operate them proficiently. Mecha helmets don't have the enclosed sense and limited field of vision of ordinary helmets, and the thing called hologram makes people feel like they don't have any helmets with them.
Not to mention the datalink combat system, something that Reed had never heard of in all his years as a soldier.
At the General Space Administration, Reed saw too many things that he had never heard of. He couldn't help but think of the rumors in the world about the Black Fire Company and the Demon Science Company, could it be that they had really obtained the technology of the advanced civilization outside the star?
Reed also asked his brother Brown Jennings. He is now not only the dean of the Wharf School of Magic, but also the director general of the University Alliance, coordinating the entire academy's research community.
But my brother always said, "You'll find out soon......"
When will it be soon?
Reid didn't know.
All he knew was that he had been selected to join an important program of the Space Administration, and that this vacation was to let their chosen soldiers go home to see their families, and it seemed that there was a great danger in this plan.
As for what the plan was, no one revealed it to them.
Arriving in Saroyan, Reed Jennings, who had just stepped off the train, was picked up in a military vehicle that had come to pick up the soldiers who had returned from their leave. These military vehicles were provided by Moke for the General Space Administration, and all of them could levitate at a height of fifty centimeters above the ground, far exceeding the speed of horse-drawn carriages.
The military vehicles drove out of the city of Saryan at a rapid pace to the General Space Administration on the western outskirts, and several smaller locomotives diverted the returning soldiers. Soon, Reed was taken to an underground research facility, where about a dozen or so soldiers like him were gathered in a conference room.
The soldiers sat in their places and waited quietly, and although the strict military discipline made them curious about what tasks awaited them, none of them spoke. Reed just took a brief look and knew that the most elite group of people from the garrison of the General Space Administration had gathered here. All of them are Silver Wing mecha pilots, and their mage level is at least at the level of an eighth-order high-level magician, and the Silver Wing pilot's rating is above the tenth order, and they have a very high level of magic and physical fitness.
These people gathered here, what did the Duke of Whitehead want to do?
While Reed couldn't help but make a lot of guesses, Miss Anne, dressed in military uniform, walked in from outside. But as the commander-in-chief of the garrison of the General Space Administration, Miss Anne did not say anything when she came in, but walked straight to the empty seat next to Reed and sat down.
Even Miss Anne is a member of the mission, and the level of this mission is a bit high.
However, instead of letting the soldiers in the conference room wait, a woman stepped onto the podium of the conference room.
It turned out to be Miss Jessica.
Reid knew Jessica. As a world-renowned adventurer and rich lady, Jessica has a good popularity around the world. It's just that what Reed can't figure out is...... This is the key military management area of the General Space Administration, what is she doing here?
Then Miss Anne shouted, "Stand up!" Welcome Instructor Jessica! ”
Although they didn't know what was happening, all the soldiers stood in unison to salute Jessica, shouting in unison, "Welcome Instructor Jessica."
Jessica was embarrassed by this strict military style, and she pressed her hands with some embarrassment: "Everyone sit down!" ”
After all the soldiers were seated, Jessica said, "It's really hard for me to be your instructor. It's not because you're not good, but you're so good, I'm a recruit in front of any of you who doesn't know what fighting is.
I'm here just to tell you what I know, what I've seen, and what I've been involved in. As for how to fight, it's up to you experienced fighters to sum up and figure out a way.
But first......
As the best group of soldiers in the General Space Administration, you have been summoned this time to participate in the Dragon Power Warrior Program in cooperation between the General Space Administration and the Black Fire Company.
In the Ancient Age of Magic, after the establishment of the First Empire of the Overworld, the Terrans of the Overworld became an equal race to the Angels, and Cloudsdale no longer provided Angels for the First Empire of the Overworld that could be accepted for employment.
In order to make up for the gap of the ultimate creature of the First Empire, the First Empire and the Fairy Dragon Clan have cooperated to develop the technology of the 13th order Terran warrior, which is the Dragon Power Warrior.
In the First Empire of the Overworld, a good Tier 12 Champion Knight will be transformed by a Dragon's Blood R&D Elixir and gain the power and magic talent of the Dragons, becoming a Dragon Warrior equal to the strength of other Tier 13 creatures in the plane.
Today's Order Star is about to endure challenges that it has never encountered before, and a high-level war is about to break out. Luckily...... The Black Fire Company owns the Dragon Warrior manufacturing technology and is willing to share it with the General Space Administration of the Order Star.
You are the first soldiers selected to accept the Dragon Warrior Transformation Program, but you are not as strong as you can accept the Dragon Blood Advancement. Although Blackfire has made some adjustments to the new Dragon Warrior Elixir, the danger remains...... And the unknown risks are unknown.
Alright, those who don't want to accept the Dragonpower Transformation plan can leave the venue and return to their respective barracks. ”
