Chapter 27: The Meaning of Gold Coins
Sherlock finished reading the end of "Travelogue Part 1" in one go, and while his mood fluctuated, he pondered the key points mentioned in the article.
First of all, there is no doubt that the Mad King. Solomon was a traveler and a compatriot.
And then whether J. Leonardo da Vinci was a traverser or not? As can be seen from the recollections, J. Leonardo da Vinci also had doubts about himself. There are other unknown consciousnesses within his mind, including a great deal of strange knowledge, as well as a unique gift after awakening.
The last key point is that J. Leonardo da Vinci will describe the transcendent system knowledge in this book. For Sherlock, this is a blessing from heaven!
Sherlock himself knew that one day, he would embark on a transcendent path.
But how does this path go? What are the mysteries and taboos? Sherlock was ignorant of this set of questions.
Whether it's for the sake of stability or to avoid stepping on pits, Sherlock feels that he has to be careful about how to promote transcendence.
Because it's about his life in this world!
The last sentence at the end of "The First Part of the Travels", "The Struggle between Life and Death", clearly points out the cruelty of the transcendent path. After all, the Mad King, who is the predecessor and compatriot of the great king. And Solomon was in ashes......
Sherlock had to be cautious and careful.
"Well, I hope that in the next part of this book, I can see the transcendent system knowledge and point me in the direction!"
Sherlock was self-motivated, excited, longing, and apprehensive, and continued to turn the page.
Still in the beautiful handwriting of J. Leonardo da Vinci, the title written:
"Travelogue Part II: My Past in the Maple Dew Court of the Platinum Han Palace;"
Buckingham Palace, the British royal palace, has been standing since its establishment. And Fenglu Court was one of the private court residences of the national teacher J and Leonardo da Vinci in that era.
Sherlock, as a major in historical archaeology, has studied this slightly. In that distant era, there were many popular legends about Maple Dew, about J. Leonardo da Vinci, about Bard II, and so on.
Of course, now these legends have been banned and permanently annihilated from the world.
Sherlock followed the title and continued to read on.
And then he froze again!
Because below, not a memoir, but another passage written by J. Leonardo da Vinci:
"As I was writing this travelogue, this memories-filled record, an interesting idea came to mind."
"In this world, there are many transcendents who sleep in underground mausoleums, and will use runes, epitaphs and other spells, or other special items to block the outside world's prying eyes on the mausoleum."
"And many living transcendents, when protecting their privacy, also take measures to block and prohibit to prevent malicious snooping and stealing."
"So this travelogue I wrote contains the joys, sorrows, joys and sorrows of my life, such a secret thing, should we also set up means to prevent prying eyes?"
"Well, then it's decided!"
This passage of beautiful handwriting of ancient Ibia. After the Celtic text is written, it is immediately followed by a pure Chinese Simplified Chinese paragraph:
"Money is vulgar, but it is indispensable for the praise of art."
"His Majesty the King also said, 'Vulgarity is elegance'. As an author, it should be a great pleasure for me to cast a brilliant gold coin every time I read this work! ”
All the words are here, and all ends there.
And then below, a looming golden swirl.
Sherlock stared dumbfounded at this last sentence.
Staring at this golden vortex.
"If you want to keep watching, you need to invest in gold coins?!"
It is understandable to invest money in the praise of art and knowledge.
For the sake of this connotation fun, it is understandable to cooperate.
But the question is, in this world, where are there still gold coins?
In England, the gold coin was abolished and replaced with paper gold pound banknotes, which has been in place for nearly 50 years. The gold coins of that year have become collectibles, only in museums or private safes.
What's more, even if Sherlock had gold coins, they were minted more than fifty years ago. There was almost a thousand years between the time of Bard II, and it did not match at all......
Sherlock tried to keep turning the page backwards.
As expected, it didn't turn over at all.
"This ......"
Sherlock shook his head with a wry smile, reluctantly closed the cover of the page, and let out a long sigh.
This book is definitely a must-read! Because it contains a lot of knowledge that Sherlock desperately needs, as well as a thousand-year-old legend, it is very important for his future path.
"Then I'm going to find a way to collect some gold coins from the time of Bard II...... If not, I don't know if the coinage more than 50 years ago can be replaced? ”
"And I didn't say how much I had to invest......"
"What a headache......
Sherlock rubbed his eyebrows, then looked at the "Clegane. Instinct Weights", and J. Leonardo da Vinci's "Travels". After thinking about it, he waved his hand lightly.
As he imagined, these two precious objects, following his will, slowly stayed under the throne, waiting quietly, with a slightly mysterious and unpredictable atmosphere.
Judging from the time estimate, Sherlock found that every time he entered the "mirror world", he could stay longer and longer. Now I am mentally normal and do not feel tired.
He looked at the "vast territory" that belonged to him, and his eyes roamed over the "mirrors" one by one. This is also the first time that Sherlock has looked closely at these "mirrors" and does notice some differences.
All the "mirrors" are identical in appearance, square, and the edges are "frames" of stargazing brilliance and complex patterns. In the center is a bright, starry sky with a unique fog that envelops transpiration.
Three of these "mirrors" were closest to him and within reach.
On these three "mirrors", a dazzling pattern that stands out from the rest of the day is revealed.
The first pattern is like a thorn, a radiant blade, a sickle and other twisted forms intertwined to form a virtual image of prayer;
the second pattern is the sun with a brilliant pattern;
The third pattern has a combination of crescent moons, full moons, animals and plants, etc., thus forming a sacrificial pattern, which is complex and exuberant;
Although Sherlock could not understand the meaning of these three patterns, he knew that this was the symbol represented by the three women who had visited.
"One of the first ladies with wild beauty. The other is the blonde cute girl, confused...... And then there's Brooke Kitten......"
"If I touch these three signs, can I summon them in? Well, it's very likely, after all, it's my territory, and I have control......"
"I used to think about organizing a regular meeting so that I could get some information from them. So at this time, can you try to summon it? ”
Sherlock stared at the three closest "mirrors", silently contemplating in his heart.
Just when he made up his mind, he was about to start summoning.
Suddenly!
Behind the three "mirrors", on one of the closest "mirrors", the thick fog suddenly moved violently, and a layer of scenery was peeled away.
Then a vague figure, dazed and struggling in the thick fog.
This is not the first time Sherlock has seen such a situation, and he has long been familiar with it. After thinking about it, he stretched out his hand and touched the "mirror" that was gradually getting closer.
Boom –
Infinite light splashed out, and the figure displayed on the mirror penetrated.
