The meal scene in our prison area is relatively good. There are tables and stools, and they are still in the hall, but they are sheltered from the rain and the sun. No, as in the past, the sky is the roof, the ground is the table, the summer is dry, and the winter is freezing.

The leaders of the prison district pay great attention to singing, because the strength of the singing voice represents the image of the prison area, so there are many times a day when they sing and are scolded.

In the later stage of my transformation, I basically stopped singing, and when I sang, I stood in the queue and opened my mouth around, without making a sound, purely as an example, because I was old and the cadres were too lazy to care.

A few young new criminals next to me, every time they sang, they were full of energy, sometimes they looked at me, and when they saw it, they laughed, laughing at me for being so bold. They can't be like me, they can't lip-synch, that's going to drop big.

After singing, the inmates ate in turn, and basically ate ugly steamed buns in the morning, one steamed bun is the size of a 7-year-old child's fist, two per person, no more is allowed, and porridge. Porridge is made with the leftovers of the previous day and boiled water mixed together, this kind of porridge is not just a casual more than that, there may be a large half of a disposable small cup.

Under normal circumstances, ordinary people can't eat this kind of breakfast, and the most important thing for everyone to buy every month is to buy a box of instant noodles. The people who can eat the prison breakfast are those who are in a very poor environment, and there is no way to do it if they don't eat.

There are two steamed buns eaten a week, on Tuesday it is a meat bun, the bun is quite large, and the meat filling inside is about the size of a little finger, and on Thursday it is a sugar bun, which is a little smaller than the meat bun, and it is good to feel a little sweet after biting the bun.

Despite this, the scene is quite lively when eating steamed buns. I have been in charge of the rice scoop for more than a year, and I really don't want to distribute buns to people, and whenever I distribute buns, I have to warn everyone not to take more, but there are still people who steal them. After the buns were distributed, I checked along the line of people squatting on the ground to eat, and found that there were several people holding two buns, so I carried out a kind education to the people who took the two buns, and severely scolded those who repeatedly refused to change. The things that happen the most are caused by the number of reports. Reporting the number seems to be a simple matter, but for those who have a stutter behind the ear, there is quite a lot of trouble, every criminal has to pass through this door no less than 2,000 times a year, and normal people will inevitably report a mistake, let alone those who have problems.

When the prison was still dark before the reform, reporting put pressure on everyone. Of course, now that I am not as nervous as I used to be when I pass through the gate of the prison in the morning, it can be said that there is no tension at all, it doesn't matter if I make a mistake, the cadres and the criminals on duty will give a gentle reminder.

The labor engaged in by inmates is all contracted processing labor from outside, that is, enterprises in the society send parts or raw materials to the prison, and then we process them into finished or semi-finished products. Now the working conditions are better, and the amount of labor and working hours are more reasonable.

The existing processing projects in Lianhuayuan Prison are: knitting sweaters, making glass ashtrays, producing footballs, and processing electronic components. My sub-supervision area is engaged in football processing, and most of the soccer balls we produce are world famous brands, such as Nike, Enbo, JJP, etc.

The labor motivation of inmates comes from the pursuit of commutation of sentences. In today's prisons, the commutation of sentences for ordinary people is mainly won by exceeding the output of labor.

Therefore, after 7 o'clock, the inmates entered the workshop, without any noisy sound, everyone quietly and quickly arrived at their own positions, quickly put into labor, and a minute of delay may be behind others in production, which will affect their own commutation.

There are also a small number of people who have no hope of commuting their sentences, and they are arranged in auxiliary positions, and these people are not very active in labor, and they spend their days in the workshop, and there are many things.
