25 Late Night Grande
Letting the two wizards do what they had to do, Zach returned to the bench on the back porch and sat down, waiting for Benjamin.
Although vampires are naturally rejecting anything related to witchcraft, they can't help but be curious. When he was bored in the night sky, he held his wine glass, dangled to Benjamin's warehouse, looked at the open space in front of the haystack, and looked at the cameras and videotapes that had been dismantled into countless parts and scattered in front of the haystacks, tilted his head, tugged at the corners of his mouth, and told the two wizards, "This is Grande's belongings, don't break it." β
Swing back to the bench and continue looking at the night sky. Well, Zach has to be helpless while wasting his life, and he probably can't find a solution before Benjamin returns.
Nearly an hour past midnight, far more than Zach and Benjamin usually returned, and the vampire tilted his head sideways as he watched the quiet road while inspiring the moon in the night sky to refuel.
Finally, the Grande van drove into the backyard.
Benjamin got out of the car with an irritated look, first at Zach, then at his own warehouse, and frowned, "Why are there two wizards in my bedroom?" β
"Little things. Zach waved his hand, he was asking Benjamin, who had become the protagonist of the event, to cultivate a stress-free relationship from now on, "Leave them alone." Zach gave him an inquiring look, "How's the party, Shun Lì?"
"Shun lì. Benjamin was obviously more concerned about his 'bedroom', looked in the direction of the warehouse, answered Zack's question casually, and continued, "What are they doing?"
"Witchcraft and stuff like that. Zach waved his hand with a lazy look of concern, and then continued to ask what he wanted to ask, "Do they all believe in Grande's situation?
Naturally, Zach asked the people in the gray professional circle if they had found out the news of Herman.
Benjamin frowned, still looking in the direction of the warehouse. Take a few steps to get a more comprehensive view. The two wizards looked at Benjamin and then at Zack. Obviously, he didn't want to participate in the conversation between the two Grande masters, and continued to be busy with the things at hand without saying a word.
Benjamin scratched his shoulders and looked a little confused, "Is that our camera? You asked them to dismantle our camera." Why?" Benjamin tilted his head after asking the question he cared about, "Not so quickly, they're more concerned about the memos that leaked out of our Grande now." β
Those memos that record numerous surnames in the West Side.
Zach raised an eyebrow and thought of something not so good, "How much do you care, who do you care about the most?" Zach was worried that everyone's focus was not on picking up Herman as he had planned, but on what Grande had done for the West End.
For example, when Bisharp, Zach and Stall were planning at the dinner table, they didn't expect Bisharp's son. Jackson would have been murdered at almost the same time. It only now occurred to Zach that perhaps he should be worried that someone would make the wrong association and misplace the point.
"Isn't the 'General' concerned with correcting these mistakes?" Zach asked, the most accurate of which was leaked directly by Sgaugh, "and No, he should have thought of something." β
It is not possible for the message channel to completely isolate the circulating information, just as James is the police. But his sources are mostly the same as 'generals'. People in the gray professional circle also have their own sources, as Zach can imagine. The people in the meeting had mixed information.
Zach waved his hand, "Did you guide in the direction of Herman?"
Benjamin nodded, "The 'General' and Nodu have helped. Then he shook his head again, "You can't expect everyone to follow your plan and just focus on Herman, eventually." Yes, but there are many things they want to focus on in the process. β
Benjamin frowned, he wasn't very good at saying the content of these entanglements, and snorted. As an example, "Nou has been testing what I know and helping me to guide, but he's also more of a divert from Smith." β
Zach raised an eyebrow, understood.
The gray professional circle, which has always called itself a professional circle, has never become a trade union, in addition to its own legal problems, more importantly, it is a group of people who have gathered together to exchange information and help each other. Its essence is not unity, but the convenience of information sharing and resource aggregation.
Benjamin was right, and eventually, their eyes would fall on Herman. But in the end, they don't mind digging up useful information along the way, and maybe they will use it one day.
Zach tilted his head sideways, and could only hope that these guys who get together once a week, don't spend too long along the road, and take the wrong road, which will make people helpless.
Benjamin suddenly turned his head, no longer looking at his warehouse, staring at the second floor of Grande, "Why did I hear James snoring?" Alpha's eyes were fixed on the vampire, "in my cub room." β
"Wes. Zach replied evasively, "I asked him to go to Hank's room, and he didn't want to." Zach spread his hands, "Not at all. β
It took Benjamin a moment to understand Zach's words. Because Wes, James would stay here, and because Old Hank's room was empty, and it was involved in something that upset James, so ......
Again, this also means that Zach is absent from the Grey Career Circle gathering, and the things that stay at Grande to solve are not resolved. Not only did it not solve it, but it also looked like it was getting more troublesome.
Benjamin pursed his lips, looked at Grande, and then at the warehouse, "Teddy hasn't found it yet." You have nothing to do, when will you be able to finish it, I don't want two wizards to watch me sleep. Benjamin frowned, he had already done this passively once, and it felt weird.
"Oh!" Zach raised an eyebrow, "it depends." Zach waved his hand with a look of disgust, "By the way, I told you that Teddy's disappearance has something to do with Papa's Midnight." Zach sighed, "You know, everything that has to do with him is very troublesome. β
Benjamin was stunned for a moment, blinked subconsciously, turned his head to look at the two wizards in the warehouse who were still fiddling with parts, and then looked at Zach.
Zach was of no use, shaking his glass with a look of disgust and trouble, as if the two wizards were occupying Alpha's bedroom. It's the same as his bedroom.
Benjamin thought for a moment and frowned, "What does he want?"
"You. Zach took a sip of wine, as if grinning comfortably, and then his expression changed to disgust and trouble, and he pointed in the direction of the warehouse. "That camera, you won't believe it. Zach smacked his lips, "That thing was tampered with by Papa Midnight last time." β
Benjamin frowned and thought as Zach spoke.
"So the last time the moon was full, the picture you took for me was seen by him. Zach actually rolled his eyes, "'Amazing'." Zach continued to roll his eyes, "That's how he described it! Zach summed it up with a wave of his hand, "He got Teddy away and wanted to swap it." Can you believe it! What a disgusting guy. β
Silent.
Even with Zack's inattentive narrative and tone, Benjamin frowned and fell completely silent. The vampire's attempt to 'manipulate' the alpha is considered a failure.
"Teddy for me. Benjamin was silent and then said in a positive manner.
"Change?" Zach didn't give up lightly, "I'm not going to trade anything with that guy." Zach shook his glass, a look of disgust on his face that had mobilized all the vampire's body control, "Nothing will be given to him, we are going to get Teddy back." Maybe ......"
Zach burst out laughing. His chin was raised in the direction of the two wizards, "I can get something else back." β
Benjamin also looked at the two wizards. Sbella and John must have heard Zach's words and looked at them as well. There was no agreement or denial, and the expressionless ones just looked at each other for a while, and each turned away, each doing its own thing.
Benjamin thought for a moment and shook his head. "Are you optimistic? β
Zach, "I'm talking about the facts. β
Benjamin thought for a moment, tugged at the corners of his mouth, and turned to walk towards Grande, "That's the time." Sue sΓΉ what am I going to do. β
Watching Benjamin step onto the back porch, Zach frowned and put away all the whitewashed expressions, "Benjamin, I'm not going to give you to Papa Midnight." β
Zach wasn't the right guy to say that.
Isn't Ian the 'father' who gave it away? Zack's only explanation is only the decision of the person concerned, Ian himself wants to go, and Zack lets him go!
Maybe there's a reason why Zach doesn't really like this descendant, or maybe there's a reason why Zach once let it go (Zach's favorite descendant is Anthony, and Ian became a vampire because Anthony asked for it to save Ian.) Later, because Ian was really not a descendant of Zach's ideal Toledo, he was belligerent and radical, and he let it go and abandoned it during the war. Volume III).
Benjamin glanced back at Zach, and without saying a word, he opened the stairwell door and went up.
It didn't take long to hear the muffled sound of someone being thrown to the floor in Matthew's room on the second floor. The guy didn't wake up, his steady breathing and heartbeat reaching the vampire's ears against the floor.
Zach frowned and waited for a while, and the second-developed alpha was like a carefree teenager who had just begun to grow up, and his breathing became steady and he fell asleep.
The vampire in the backyard walked around the yard, and the continuous wait that began in the afternoon was completely over. The annoying feeling of inexplicable 'wasting life' is also completely gone. But Zach's mood didn't improve at all.
Walking around to the door of the warehouse, Zach shook his hand, threw the empty glass and bottle in the haystack, and walked towards the two wizards.
"Anything I find, I want to hear. Right now. Zach didn't want to talk that kind of about ruining Grande's belongings, staring at the parts on the ground, and speaking in a bad tone.
"Do you want to see it?" John glanced at Zack, who didn't look very good, tired from staying up late, and irritable, "Then I'll show you." β
John lifted his foot and stepped on it heavily, and the click and shattering sound was the camera lens shattering and spreading out under his feet.
Zach frowned, staring at John's feet, full of mockery, "What do you want me to see, can you step on broken glass, it's amazing......"
John's feet moved away, and the fragmented transparent fragments rolled and coalesced. The camera appeared in place as it was, and the only evidence that the thing had just been trampled on was that under the transparent mirror, there were a few more potholes on the ground.
Zack, the vampire, grimaced with a gloomy face, his eyes unconsciously glowing red, "Very well, I can now make sure you don't damage Grande's belongings." β
"Hmph. Sibella was holding a part in her hand, and the red witchcraft spell swirled around it, not knowing what it was doing, "Not necessarily. β
The exhaustion on Sbella's face was heavier than John's, a weakness that comes with age. But again, this is also her 'merit', whether in the emotional situation or in the highly targeted dialogue, "When we break the protective barrier set by Papa at midnight." If you like this property so much, you'd better be prepared and buy a new one. Sbella snorted coldly and repeated the last two words, "New." β
Zach pursed his lips and resisted the pun. Wait! No, it's three levels! Vampires like cameras? Now Gangaro is barely okay, our Torre Dozak, forget it.
Zach was silent for a moment, and with the magnanimity of his master, he let go of Sbella's attack, "Remind me again, your plan." β
"I actually kind of like your optimism. John also picked up a part, red incantation shining in his hand, "Plan?" he shook his head, "It's not even a concept. β
"Then tell me again, what 'concept' are you trying to disassemble Grande's belongings?" Zach glanced at John, not asking for an explanation.
Earlier, in the office, when Zach asked John what he had to say, the two wizards looked at each other and said, "We're going to check these two things first, and then we'll talk." β
The wizard's inspection, as everyone sees it now, is demolished.
"The picture of Alpha was sent to Papa Midnight, and Teddy was caught with him, right? John breathed, gathered his words, and looked at Zach, "Do you know how he did it?"
Zach tugged at the corners of his mouth, "I'm a vampire." "It's Zach saying in a subtle way, 'I hate witchcraft, how would I know.'" β
John pouted, "I know you're a vampire. John shook his head helplessly, "So it's up to us, the wizards, to discover these 'passages' that lead to Papa's midnight." β
"What's the use of discovering the 'channel'. Zach continued to demand an explanation.
Without waiting for an answer, Zach himself understood.
The vampire shook his head, this 'plan' really wasn't even a concept. Zach waved his hand, turned and left the warehouse, and said the same thing as Benjamin, "When the time comes, tell SΓΉ what I'm going to do." β
Well, if there is nothing to use this channel, what's the point of discovering it. (To be continued......)
