Epilogue to Volume III The Imperial Manifesto

His Majesty, the great and venerable Emperor, in Arci, the capital of the Duchy of Burgundy, delivered a powerful declaration of war to the whole empire.

The following is the text of the speech:

Although I have been given the mandate by my father and God to carry out domestic reforms through strict self-discipline, strength and self-control, we often see some Italian and Canadian foreign newspapers, such as Pravda, denigrating our great Holy Solomonic Empire.

Apparently, they were arrogant and poorly intellectual, and they belittled our desire to rebuild the splendor and exemplar of the ancient Solomonic Empire.

Our success is the best evidence to expose these lies.

For if, in these years, we have been like the Kingdom of West Francia, we have professed ourselves the laziness of aristocratic republics and lords' self-government.

Or, like the Solomonic nation, they do not care about their own affairs, but they frequently interfere with the outside world and point fingers.

Then we will not be able to build a great country with such a vast territory, many people, and abundant nourishment on this land that has been left to be rebuilt after the withdrawal of the ancient Solomons.

Therefore, we have the right to defend our work, and we cannot allow our work to be ridiculed as a traitor, let alone allow the malicious foreign media to disturb us.

Whoever interferes with our mission, whether it is a Hussite who wants to interfere with the rule of the Iron Throne, an extreme Hussite, or a rebellious careerist, is the public enemy of the Holy Solomon's Empire.

In today's tense times, we don't need those who, in God's name, teach others with the proverbs of the classics, and we don't want those who have nothing to do and at the same time sneer at the work of others.

What we need is someone who unites the whole empire. We need people who do this kind of work.

I hate those who do not come to help us, but who criticize our work.

Foreigners are all of this type, they are jealous of us, they think they don't know much more than we do, so they want to reject us.

The basic creed of the Frankish nation is "help yourself, and others will help". A country's standard of living is the accumulation of the country's gross national output. In other words, the amount of wages should be proportional to the quantity of goods produced by the work.

Today, however, this dogma does not please some people, so some people are instigated, shouting "high wages, less work" in front of factories and streets, and thwarting loyal citizens of the empire who want to return to work.

However, contrary to the "exploitation and oppression" they denounced, the Empire has today become the world's largest producer of steel. I could cite many, many examples, which are the best proof of our national record.

In addition to these success stories, there are many more industrial achievements to come in the coming year.

Those foreigners are only worthy of teeth and claws. Isn't it a historical irony that they think they are qualified to criticize us and give us advice?

We have given the Empire its own power armor to the front lines against the malicious slander coming at us from the international community.

In the event of an international conflict, or a malicious attempt to disrupt the peace of the Empire, the Empire will use their steel to protect its people and the Emperor.

The whole world will soon taste what it is like to unite as one with the emperor, the people, and the army.

Had Italy and Canada suddenly collapsed today, and the city of Solomon had to fend for itself, the Solomonic people might have understood how difficult the economic work we have today been.

This country, at first, did not have gold reserves, and there was not enough foreign exchange, which was not because the Saxon royal family did not want to have it, but because in the early days of its establishment, the empire was frequently invaded and ravaged by the Magyars of the East, and then suffered from economic plundering from the south, which has been for nearly a hundred years.

In other words, we have to feed the vast number of people in this land, and we don't have an economic colony to feed us.

Suppose there is a country that lacks all kinds of industrial raw materials and is unwilling to borrow foreign debt to survive in order to reduce its unemployment to zero and improve its standard of living within five years. In a country where all the economic prerequisites are lacking, it is absolutely impossible to solve their own unemployment problem if they remain silent.

As a result, the Empire's claim to foreign economic dependencies is becoming louder and louder every year.

These dependencies were not the Empire's desire to plunder from other nations; Rather, these territories are only a burden to the Holy See, but they are indispensable for the survival of our Frankish nation.

We also ask for a site under the sun.

The Holy See used violence to draw up a map of the peoples and states of the continent, and planned it thoroughly.

From this we can see that the work of the Holy See is to openly promote arrogant and irrational procedures in the name of God, and then to make the results of these procedures a permanent and immutable part of the international order.

It is by this means that they have imposed on us the international order they have formulated, in particular by calling the policy of heresy "the defense of the glory of God".

Now the Holy See is trying to protect this order. I really don't understand why a country that has long suffered from economic plundering should be subjugated to such a high-sounding organization, and I don't allow us to stop fighting for God just because we rebelled against the Holy See.

On the contrary, we are no longer subservient to the Holy See because we believe that the Holy See is only an institution that values self-interest over faith.

In addition to the above-mentioned reasons, I appeal to the loyal citizens to keep the following important matters in mind.

First: We have chosen to rebel against the Holy See because we are loyal to God's will, because the Holy See refuses to give us devout believers the right to arm ourselves, so we cannot obtain the same security status.

Second: we will not consider the reason for negotiating with the Holy See, because we will not allow the majority of the cardinal synods under the control of the Pope to vote in favor of the Empire to back down, and we will have to be at the mercy of others.

Thirdly, we will provide assistance to all countries that regard the Holy See as a reliable incarnation of God, but do not end well. We should keep this diplomatic matter firmly in line.

For example, in the war in Brittanya, the Holy See was reluctant to recognize the de jure rule of the Kingdom of Anjou in Aquitaine and Normandy because of its concern for the diocesan interests of the West Frankish Kingdom. Perhaps our approach can make the whole problem easier and more reasonable to solve.

Fourth: There is no reason for us to allow the Empire to be bogged down in conflicts that don't concern us. Nor do we want to watch others gain territorial or economic windfall gains while the empire has no visible benefit.

Besides, we don't want others to be able to benefit from others after they've helped us make a profit.

The Empire has decided to rationally temper its own interests and demands. And if it really is at stake in the interests of the Empire, we do not expect any country to help us, and we will make a statement from the beginning that it is our right to maintain order on the mainland.

Fifthly, we do not intend to leave it to the Holy See to determine our future attitudes, because this body, without sufficiently strong international oversight, will lose its sanity and adopt an arrogant mindset.

After all, all countries are most concerned about their own survival, and thus can only stick to formalistic unions. As a result, those who are in the interests of the Holy See will survive, and those who are contrary to the interests of the Holy See will be dealt a heavy blow.

The Empire, even if it is a member of Bishop Solomon, will never accept such an unjustifiable hegemonic act of the Holy See.

The Holy Solomonic Empire was not a war-loving nation. It is a valiant nation, I mean to say that the Empire does not want war, but it is not afraid of war either, it loves peace, and it also loves its honor and freedom.

The new empire does not belong to anyone, to any group, it does not belong to me, but to all the citizens of the empire. It will help the peoples who are willing to live in peace with us, and it will make them more willing to do their part.

The party, the state, the armed forces, and the economy of the empire are a sharp weapon and an instrument, a means to an end. The Empire will work to achieve our goals, and one day history will judge. But the eternal goal of the empire is to serve all its citizens.

I now pray to God for the blessing of our work, our doing, our vision, our determination in the days to come. Pray that the Lord Almighty will not let us suffer from arrogance and groveling; May it help us find the way the empire should go; May it give us the courage to do what we ought to do; May it help us not to be cowardly in the face of evil forces and cowardly in the face of danger.

Long live the Holy Solomon Empire! Long live all loyal citizens of the Empire!
