Chapter 384: Elven Cleanliness
After gaining a foothold, the elves trained a large number of forest rangers, assassins, and warriors. Embark on a front-line counter-offensive against the trolls of the Amani Empire in hopes of stabilizing their magical kingdom of Quel'Thalas. Soon the trolls were completely suppressed into the forest, and they could only cower in their huge forest city of Zuaman, waiting for another chance to counterattack.
Although confined to Zuaman, the trolls often send scout squads to carry out assassination and sabotage operations, creating panic in the hope of undermining the elves' self-confidence.
Now that the Sunwell has been destroyed by Arthas, and the High Elves are in a state of bitter despair, this may be the best chance for the trolls.
Locke touched his chin and looked at the troll's rickety back and pondered, this troll in front of him may be the beginning of the next elf-troll war.
"Hey! What do you see? โ
Locke, who had been pondering for a long time, was awakened by the elf girl beside him. He looked back, and the elf girl was looking at him suspiciously.
"You seem to have something on your mind?"
"No, I didn't." Locke smiled comfortingly at Noris, then sighed again and looked at the troll's back with a solemn expression.
"I'm sorry to worry you, I'm fine, I'm just a little worried about that thing."
Following Locke's gaze, Norris saw the trolls tethered by the young rangers. Disappreciatively, she put what she had in hand into her carry-on package.
"I've been fighting the filthy guys since I was an adult, until now. If there is no fight with them one day, it will worry me a little. Nolis pulled the reins of the landed bird and walked along the edge of the small square. "Killing a troll in the prime of life is the graduation course for the Trainee Rangers, and we've been working hard to eradicate their numbers. โ
Norris glanced at the trolls in disgust and spat at the grass next to them, "Unfortunately, they're like weeds. After a rainy season, you will find that their number has increased several times! โ
Locke walked briskly over to Noris, smiling and grimacing at an elven boy who was looking timidly at him, and said to her, "Don't you worry they're going to rush out of their city?" You know, you elves are in a very bad situation right now. โ
Seeing Locke's expression, the elf boy was stunned, and then stuffed his two fingers into his mouth, and pulled his mouth wide at Locke, and his tongue stuck out of his mouth, making a popping sound.
Locke laughed at this, and gave a thumbs up to the elf boy. The little boy ran to his mother's side triumphantly, pulled the corner of his mother's coat and pointed at Locke and said something.
"What's there to worry about?" Norris sneered, and she said mockingly, "These guts rats will only shrink into their own rat-hole-like cities, even if we are now, they don't dare to come out!" โ
"Oh, really?" Locke responded absentmindedly to Norris, and he saw that the mother of the elf boy, an elf young woman in a red dress, was looking at him with disgust.
Locke touched the messy hair on his head, and some of the second monks were confused.
Why does she hate me? This is my first time in Quel'Thalas, right?
Is it because of the way I'm dressed?
Locke looked down at his body, and the blue-gold trimmed double-headed eagle was still on his chest, and the high-ranking commander's robe marked his identity. Anyone who knows a little bit about heraldry will understand their place in human society.
Is it because it's too dirty?
Locke looked left and right at his armor and robes, clean, bright, and spotless.
Locke habitually digs his hair, by the way, is it hair?
It is said that elves love cleanliness, could it be that elves' cleanliness habits have reached this point? Allowing people who have to be clean come to the place where they live?
It's been a long time since Locke had been here from the harbor of the Silver Pines Forest, his hair tangled together like a mop.
If you count the beard you haven't shaved in a long time, well, it shouldn't look too good.
This is also something that cannot be helped, sailing on the sea, the most lacking thing is clean water.
Bathe? Dream on!
Locke pulled out his close-fitting shirt and sniffed it!
Oh! There's no other taste, it's normal~
"Don't smell it, the smell on your body is just as much I can bear!" Just as Locke was wondering, Noris's voice came faintly.
Norris looked at Locke with some resentment, "We elves can't tolerate people who are dirty all over their bodies, and only I can tolerate you!" โ
Then she gritted her teeth and said, "If it weren't for the urgency of time, I would definitely let you go and freshen up!" Shame on me for coming out of the province! โ
"That's why, we are human, and you are elves~" Locke said helplessly.
While they were sailing at sea, Norris insisted on taking a bath once a day, even though there was only one basin of water at a time. And that abominable goblin captain costs 10 gold coins for every basin of water! Every time you use it, you add an extra coin!
As the name goes, fresh water on board is precious, and only a high price can let you know the preciousness of water!
Thinking of this, Locke was angry, he had never felt so distressed, but Norris still went his own way, and every time it was time to take a bath, he stretched out his dexterous hand in front of him.
"After taking so many high-priced baths, don't you feel distressed at all?" Locke couldn't help but ask.
"I'd rather spend all the money I have! I don't want to have a smell on my body! Norris said categorically, and then she raised an eyebrow and stopped looking at Locke.
"No! You go like this, and it's my people who are lost! You've got to clean up, or elseโ" Someone was looking at Locke's name just as Norris was about to let Locke take a shower at the inn.
"Norris? Noris? Is that you?!! โ
Hearing this, the elf girl turned her head in confusion, and then she immediately turned around as if frightened, covered her face and leaned against Locke's arms, and Locke found that the roots of her ears were red.
"Oh! Damn, what should I do, I don't want to be embarrassed in front of my best friend..."Noris's mutter, word for word, penetrated Locke's ears.
Locke looked up, and on the other side of the small square, an elven beauty with long hair in a maroon shawl was looking at it.
She wore a robe inlaid with red and black inlays, which had many more patterns than Veredis at the docks of Yangfan Harbor, and was unusually intricate.
"Noris! Is that you?! โ
Locke watched the elven beauty on the other side walk towards her lightly, and Norris in her arms pierced her head deeper.
"She's your friend? She's coming. Locke looked at Norris in his arms with a smile, "You can't hide from it, cheer up." โ
