Section 2 Huge Bernie
The fourth day into the eternal world.
Willow still hugged the bear and waved to Wilson, "Remember to bring something to eat, come back soon!" β
Saying goodbye to Willow, Wilson chose a different path than yesterday, where the forest was dense and deep and silent. He was careful with his axe, his shoes rustling on the fluffy pine needles, and there probably wouldn't be any food here. In the morning, Wilson made rope rolls from the harvested grass, and he wanted to use the rope to tie the split wood together so that it would be easier to carry. But now was not the time to cut wood, he should have walked a little further, maybe there would be food in the depths of the forest, mushrooms or something, after all, the pockets were still empty.
The surrounding is scary, where does this road lead? Wilson couldn't help but think that if this was in England, he wouldn't be afraid, no matter how dense the forest was, and that he missed his cabin a little. I don't know how long I walked without a head or a brain, Wilson suddenly heard the snort of a pig, and there seemed to be a house in the distance! It's a wooden house! He couldn't help but get excited again, there were residents here, and they would definitely be able to answer their doubts!
Wilson ran, and he ran forward to a clearing in the middle of the forest, where there were a few wooden huts scattered about, planted with berries and a patch of grass, but what he saw next made him stunned: there were pigs walking on two legs! It was they who hummed and picked up seeds from bird droppings in the clearing.
"This is, the pigman?" Wilson said to himself that he had only heard of the pigman in fairy tales, but it was a real creature in this world. Wilson walked up to the pigs and observed: these pigmen looked almost identical, looking cute and cute, and he was not surprised or frightened by his intrusion at all, he just cared about digging up the bird droppings, picking out the seeds and stuffing them into his mouth, "Vomit~ It's disgusting." β
Wilson waved at a pigman, "Hey! Hello! β
"Purr, stay away from me!" The pig man seems to only say this one.
They weren't in danger, but they didn't see any help. Check it out here that there are no people in these wooden houses, and they look like pigmen's houses, each of which is pitifully small. It's really strange that these pigmen can only dig seeds, and the berry fields are there, but there are no pigmen to pick them, they probably don't have intelligence, I really don't understand how such creatures can exist.
As it got late, Wilson put the berries he had picked into his pocket, chopped a pile of wood and tied it with ropes, and dragged it back the way he came. As darkness fell, the faint howls that came every night became clearer in the dense forest. Wilson must craft a torch or the monsters in the darkness that have attacked him will strike again.
Wilson held the torch and dragged the wood, which made him unable to move, and he couldn't help but think of Willow, she must be scared to death alone, don't let anything happen! Thinking of this, Wilson pushed harder.
"Ahββ! I don't care about you! β
The screams in the night sky made the darkness even creepier. Wilson knew something was wrong, he threw down the wood and ran towards the screams with torches, "Willow! β
In the distance, the faint glow of Willow's lighter was barely visible, and a huge doll bear stood beside Willow, who crouched on the ground with her head in her hands, and a black shadow pounced on the doll bear.
"Get out of here!" Wilson attacked the shadow with a torch, and the shadow was gone. The doll bear also became smaller in a flash of light, and fell limply to the ground, which turned out to be Bernie.
"Willow, Willow," Wilson shook Willow's shoulder, "it's all right. β
Willow looked up, "Bernie? Bernie! She grabbed the dirty Bernie Bear and carried it into her arms, "It's dead." β
"What?" Wilson stuck the torch on the ground, "It justβbut it's just a doll." β
"No, Bernie is dead." Willow's face was expressionless, "Did you bring back something to eat?" I am hungry. β
