Chapter 632: Questions and Answers
I said, "Whatever, it's just some things you usually eat, such as spicy soup, fried dough sticks and soy milk, steamed buns, and so on." ”
He laughed, "Of course there is such a big place. ”
"That's good!" As we spoke, we walked out of the neighborhood.
I found out that this is an old neighborhood with a history of more than ten years. Many people who dislike this old neighborhood have already moved out, and many of the people left are poor people who can't afford to buy a house, or people who rent other people's houses here.
As I walked, I turned my head to look back.
He smiled and asked, "What do you see?" ”
I replied, "It's fine." ”
Of course I don't dare to say anything like this dilapidated community, so as not to hurt his self-esteem, after all, he is such a big person, there is no need to sigh about this thing, and whether he lives or not has nothing to do with me.
The two of us sat down at a food stall on the street not far from her neighborhood.
"Boss, come two bowls of spicy soup!" She said to her boss.
I took a look, and the boss glanced at it, and this boss was obviously from Xinjiang, and the spicy soup he made, of course, was also a spicy soup from Xinjiang, and he must put some beef and other things.
So I asked the boss, "Is your spicy soup vegetarian or meaty?" ”
The boss looked at me and replied, "There are beef meatballs in it, why don't you eat beef?" ”
I laughed and said, "I don't eat any meat." ”
At this time, Junjie also glanced at me and said, "This is Sanjing meat, it's okay to eat it!" ”
Needless to say, of course I know what the three clean meats are.
The three pure flesh is not to kill for oneself, not to kill oneself, and not to hear miserable cries when killing.
Although I know, but I have been studying Buddhism for so long, if I eat three pure meats again, then I can't say anything. Of course this is not the year of Shakyamuni Buddha. When Shakyamuni Buddha preached, all the monks, all their meals were to go out and transform their karma by themselves, and they could eat whatever they could, and they didn't eat this or that, as they say now.
This saying of not eating meat began during the time of Emperor Wu of Liang. Emperor Wu of Liang, an emperor who believed in Buddhism, felt that killing was contrary to the spirit of compassion, so he stipulated that he would not eat animal meat. Since then, in Han Buddhism, there is a saying that you don't eat meat.
I told Junjie everything I knew.
Junjie said: "You are doing a good job, but I haven't started to do it yet, I only eat three clean meats." ”,
I wasn't very disgusted when he said that. Because I've been to some tantric monasteries. The monks in the monastery, they also eat meat. I remember when I asked them, he didn't say, "They're tantra, they can be eaten." "I asked the other people, and they were all secretive, and they could eat meat. I had the spirit of breaking the casserole and asking him why they were mysteriously edible. The man explained to me that they could reduce the meat they ate to the secret level.
I don't know if the poisonous words he said are true or false. But I believe that there is a sentence spoken by a monk named Jigong. He said that many people may have heard of this sentence and know this sentence, but many people know the first half of it, and then use this first half of the sentence to comfort themselves and find a reason for eating meat.
The words that Master Jigong said are that the wine and meat pass through the intestines, the Buddha stays in his heart, and if the world learns from me, it is like entering the devil's way.
Why is it that if the world learns from him, it is as if he has entered the path of the devil? The contemporary Pure Land Sect generation of senior monks Master Jingkong also made a special explanation for this sentence, he said, Monk Jigong is a monk who has attained the Tao, and his supernatural powers are incredible. For example, if he can take the meat of a pigeon that he has eaten in his mouth and spit it out, it will become a pigeon and it will be alive. Can you? If you can't, don't learn from him to eat meat.
For this reason, the Clearance Mage was afraid that others would not understand too much, and gave another example. He said that according to the Diamond Sutra, everything is empty. So if I ask you, is Elysium empty? If you say it, it's empty; Then you will miss the great marriage in this life, who can blame it?
There is also the public case of the Puyuan Zen master who killed the cat to save all sentient beings, and if you kill the cat, you will commit the killing vow.
That's why it's so difficult to learn Buddhism in such a turbidity world now. Because the evil master said that it is like the sand of the Ganges. Of course, Shakyamuni Buddha was very compassionate, and he knew that it was not too easy to learn Buddhism at the end of the Dharma period, so he prescribed a few points.
First, it is not based on reason. What does it mean, that is, as long as the general meaning is correct, there is no need to chew the words. Because Buddhism is translated from Sanskrit in ancient India, there will definitely be different translations, so it doesn't matter if you have more sentences or fewer sentences.
Second, according to the law, it does not depend on people. What does that mean? That is to say, according to what the scriptures say, if you don't rely on any one person or one Dharma teacher, no matter how good or good the teacher says, no matter how good it is, no matter how fanciful it is, you can't rely on it.
The third is that if you follow righteousness, you can't follow righteousness. What is righteousness, according to the meaning of the teaching, is to say that the purpose of reciting the Buddha well is to survive in the Pure Land, not to engage in fame and profit. This is righteousness. That is to say, if a person is too good at studying Buddhism, no matter how famous he is, no matter how great his supernatural powers are, but he is engaged in fame and fortune, and is engaged in eating, drinking, and enjoyment, he cannot learn from him.
In the end, he also said that these points are something that students of Buddhism should not ignore.
I finally told Junjie what I knew.
At this time, he let out a sigh of admiration. At that time, I gave a thumbs up and said that I was: "The first disciple of Shakyamuni Buddha." ”
I smiled and said, "I don't dare to be." ”
It's not that I'm humble, it's that I know that there are still a lot of things that leave it to be desired.
Then he asked me again, "Do you eat eggs?" ”
I said, "I don't eat:"
Junjie asked rhetorically: "The eggs now are raised on chicken farms, and without the mating of roosters, the chicks cannot hatch and can be eaten." ”
I laughed at the novel: "On this issue, Master Yinguang at that time once gave a lecture, if you don't believe it, you can now use your mobile phone to search on Baidu, can you eat eggs?" ”
Junjie asked rhetorically, "Why?" You can't eat it. ”
I replied, "Venerable Yinguang said that people who love eggs use this rooster to mate, and there are many reasons to excuse themselves, but he doesn't know that there is life in it. There are many ways of reproduction in nature, which are well known, viviparous, oviparous, wet, and metabiotic. And so on and so forth. Like wet growth and metaplasia, do you still need to mate? ”
I've given you the general meaning of the Seal Light Mage.
Junjie listened very attentively. He never thought that compared to him, I was a latecomer, and I never imagined that I, a latecomer, would definitely surpass him.
So he sighed: "It's really the back waves of the Yangtze River pushing the front waves, and the front waves die on the beach." ”
After Junjie finished speaking, I couldn't help laughing.
