Chapter 86: Wallace Returns

A week later, the sea of the Kingdom of Goa.

A giant warship flying the banner of a dazzling golden sword slashed through the waves.

This is Galen's luxurious and large flagship that he inherited from the Klick Pirates: the Dreadnought Vanguard Sabre.

This ship is worthy of the name of "dreadnought", floating on the sea like a moving island, sails in the sky, cannons like a forest, and there are more than 300 sailors on board.

Dressed in a cool swimsuit, Nami lazily reclined under a large parasol propped up on the deck, sipping chilled juice made by the ship's chef class, enjoying a rare leisurely life.

After hearing that Galen was going to sign a cooperation agreement with Wallace's family, Nami, who served as the chief financial officer, immediately took the opportunity to pester Galen to go to the Kingdom of Goa together, and finally took advantage of the public vacation to go.

Nami, who has returned to the sea, is obviously much more energetic than when she was a treasurer.

She gently put the juice in her hand on the small table beside her, stretched out her fingers to feel the wet sea breeze blowing in her face, and couldn't help but say with some excitement:

"It's finally a relief!"

"I really should be a navigator!"

Galen, who sat next to Nami and enjoyed the life of the rotten ruling class with her, couldn't help but say aloud:

"Aren't you the one who rushed to be the financial officer in the first place?"

"It's only been a long time since you don't like money?"

Hearing the word "money", Nami's pink cheeks immediately subconsciously appeared with a gloomy color of iron blue:

"Don't talk to me about money!"

Miss Nami, who was once able to be hooked by Bailey's golden eyes, now said righteously:

"The finance staff who took over from me has almost been recruited."

"I am the most talented navigator in the East China Sea, and my dream is to draw charts of the whole world, how can I waste my talent on those useless money!"

When she first started out as a financial officer, Nami was thrilled by the sheer number of figures on her financial statements.

Running to the company vault and rolling in a sea of banknotes is Nami's favorite pastime.

However, when the money grows more and more, and the numbers get bigger and bigger...

Money becomes a number entirely.

Nami, who counts the money and has cramps in her hands, can no longer find the happy feeling of working hard to save money like a squirrel.

"So..."

Galen looked at the coastline that was already faintly visible in the distance, and asked, "Navigator, have we reached our destination?" ”

"Here we are."

Nami, who had already calculated the sailing time, didn't even look at it, so she replied neatly:

"If I hadn't deviated from the route I had set, we would be on the east coast of the big island of the Kingdom of Goa by now."

"According to the charts, this place should be called..."

Nami thought for a moment, and then used her genius brain to recreate the topographical map of the vast island of the Kingdom of Goa:

"Windmill Village."

"We need to go around to the southwest of the big island of the Kingdom of Goa, which is the port of the royal city."

Galen didn't take Nami's sailing plan to heart, and focused all his attention on the "Windmill Village".

Before coming to the Kingdom of Goa, Galen wanted to stop by the windmill village to have a look.

"Wait..."

Galen, on the other hand, looked at the coastline that was becoming clearer and clearer in the distance.

With his current eyesight, raising his eyes can hopefully the effect of a telescope.

On that shoreline, Galen saw a massive warship that was no less in size than his dreadnought, with a large dog-head ramming horn in the bow.

The warship Galen was still very familiar with - because it was the exclusive warship of Vice Admiral Karp that he had flown on.

"Karp hasn't been back to his headquarters yet?"

Galen was stunned, and Nami was also shocked and curiously picked up the binoculars.

Encountering Cap, an epic boss again, in the Tokai Novice Village, Galen was a little surprised.

But on second thought:

It's not even been two months since the last time I separated from Karp.

Karp was already semi-retired at Navy Headquarters, so it was not surprising that he had two months off.

On the other hand, he was a lonely apprentice knight when he last saw Karp, but now he is the de facto "overlord of the East China Sea".

"Let's go to the windmill village first, and then go to the royal city later."

Aware of Karp's existence, Galen's interest in Windmill Village grew.

"Okay."

Nami nodded, and she also had a crush on Karp, a naval hero who single-handedly changed the predicament of her homeland.

"That's right..."

Galen suddenly turned to Nami and said, "Before stopping the ship, there is one more important thing! ”

"What's the matter?"

Nami was struck by Galen's sudden serious voice.

Galen took a closer look at Nami's current outfit:

The bikini-style swimsuit that is so cool that Nami is casually tied between the delicate collarbones by Nami's gradually growing orange hair, and a large area of fair skin is exposed all over the body...

It looks like it's full of temptation.

Looking at this beautiful picture of spring, Galen righteously said what he wanted to say when he read comics in his last life:

"How can anyone sail bare-chested?"

"Get dressed for me!"

..........................................................

Soon after, the royal city of the Kingdom of Goa harbor.

Although he decided to visit the windmill village first, Galen still remembered to send someone to say hello to the Michael family first, so as not to wait in vain.

The messenger who was sent was none other than Wallace, the sister-in-law of the Michael family and a loyal follower of Galen.

He took the lead in a small boat that had detached from the dreadnought and came to the royal city of the Kingdom of Goa.

Seeing the port of Wangcheng getting closer and closer, Wallace was full of emotion:

Since working his way to that position as a journalist in front of his father a few years ago, he has never returned to the country he hates.

The grandiose segregation, the indifferent hierarchy, the arrogant and ignorant aristocracy, the brainwashed burghers...

The kingdom of Goa is divided into three rings from the inside out:

Intramuros, High Town, Center Street, Border Town, and Lawless Lands outside the city.

A slight analogy is the first ring, the second ring road, the third ring road, the suburbs and the landfill.

After becoming a journalist, Wallace traveled all over the East China Sea, and there was no country in the East China Sea that he had not visited.

But in a country like his home kingdom of Goya, where residents of the same city can still be discriminated against to such an extent, Wallace will never find a second one.

"It's disgusting."

Obviously there was a clean landscape in front of him, but Wallace couldn't help but show a look of disgust.

However, his expression immediately turned into a stunned:

"That's Uncle Bogkin and Father?"

Wallace looked at the group of nobles waiting in the harbor with some surprise:

"And... King? ”

The gorgeously dressed white-haired old man surrounded by everyone was the current king of the Kingdom of Goa.

As the concubine of a high-ranking nobleman, Wallace naturally met the old king when he was young.

He knew very well that the old king basically had all the shortcomings of the nobility, arrogant and ignorant, self-esteemed, and self-serving...

The old king, however, stood respectfully on the harbor in greeting.

Seeing the banner of the dazzling golden sword on Wallace's boat, the old king waved his hand excitedly.

"Are you waiting for Lord Galen?"

Wallace muttered to himself in astonishment:

"When did Lord Galen have such a big face?"

You must know that the aristocratic thinking of King Goya will never treat anyone with civilian status differently, even if the other party is the overlord of one side and the strongest man who can defeat ten thousand people.

Wallace got off the boat in a trance, and immediately saw the old king's kind smile:

"Michael's boy, long time no see!"

The old king kindly patted Wallace on the shoulder, making Wallace stunned like a piece of wood, and completely forgetting the aristocratic etiquette that had not been used for a long time.

The old king, however, was not at all annoyed by Wallace's faux pas, but said in a more amiable manner:

"A young man like you is a good match for my daughter!"

"Huh?"

Wallace did not look flattered as the king had expected, but looked more and more stunned.

He subconsciously set his eyes on his father and Uncle Bogkin, but he received meaningful glances from the two elders in response.

In a trance, Wallace finally understood what the family had tricked him into coming back.

However, something happened that caught Wallace off guard even more.

I saw the old king ask respectfully:

"That's... Hasn't Lord Galen arrived yet? ”

Such a respectful tone, the honorific title of "Lord Galen", made Wallace almost think that the arrogant king in front of him had been bent down by himself.

He was so overwhelmed that he had to tell the truth:

"Lord Galen, he went to Windmill Village to catch up with Lieutenant General Karp before he arrived at the royal city."

"Reminiscing with Lieutenant General Karp?"

The old king frowned slightly.

Although Karp is from the Kingdom of Goa, he has never pretended to be a nobleman of the kingdom, and he will not even get closer to the royal city;

And what's even more ridiculous is that in the eyes of nobles like the old king:

No matter how strong and high Karp is, he is still a civilian who is inferior to them.

But I don't know what the idea is, the old king still bypassed the bend:

"Yes..."

"As Lord Galen, he will indeed have some contact with the upper echelons of the Navy."

Wallace had no idea what was going on, and had to deal with the terrible social event with a bewildered expression.

It was only after his father had accompanied the king back to the royal city that Wallace finally seized the opportunity to run to Uncle Bogkin and ask:

"Uncle Bogkin, what's going on?"

Bogkin smiled silently, and only said after a moment:

"You should have understood by now, what did the family call you back for?"

"Competing for the right to marry a princess?"

Wallace gritted his teeth and said, "I'm not interested! ”

"Whether you're interested or not, the family's plans have already begun."

Borgkin shook his head slightly:

"The things you just didn't understand were part of the plan."

"What do you mean?"

Wallace asked, puzzled.

But Bogkin continued to say in an unfathomable tone:

"A good businessman needs to know how to use information as a weapon."

"Asymmetric information, or even false information, can play a significant role in trading."

"Don't talk about that!"

Wallace said disdainfully:

"Isn't it just rumor-mongering? What exactly did you do? ”

"Nothing."

Borgkin chuckled lightly:

"I'm just telling me the story you told me, and through some subtle tricks, some drunkards and women who can't keep their mouths shut."

"The story? What's the story? ”

Wallace was even more puzzled.

"The story of Lord Galen."

Borgkin's smile became more meaningful:

"For example..."

"He only had one Garen name, but he mysteriously withheld his last name."

"The heirloom treasures that even many great royal families have not had the opportunity to see are only weapons in his hands that can be thrown at will."

"He doesn't care about possessions at all; 5 million Bailey, not enough for him to buy a toilet. ”
