The Japanese name is "Emperor" and the English name is "Monarch". "Emperor" is not an official series field. The magic trap card "Emperor" is known as "Emperor" in Japanese and "Monarchs" in English.

Several Emperor Monsters have different attributes, representing a variety of powers, except for "Thunder Emperor Zabolg", which is 5 stars, the other emperors are all 6 stars, and the ability value is fixed at 2400 attack power and 1000 defense power. The high-level emperors that appear later are all 8 stars, and their ability values are fixed at 2800 attack power and 1000 defense power. Their abilities are more powerful than the previous Emperor Monsters, first of all, you can summon them at the higher level by using only one monster summoned by the superior as liberation, and secondly, after using the liberation of fixed attributes, you can get additional effects.

First included in the Sky Sanctuary (308) booster pack, Thunder Zaborg was the first monster in the set.

The "Ice Emperor Mebius" included in the SOD(401) booster pack is the second monster in the set.
