Chapter 311: Lucius's Plan
"Of course there's something, otherwise I'll let you come over?" With that, Draco gently brought his mouth to William's ear, looking mysterious.
"Remember what I said earlier? I told my dad about the two attacks and the reopening of the Chamber of Secrets, and now he's planning to get Dumbledore out of Hogwarts Castle! The excitement in Draco's eyes was about to overflow.
"What is your dad going to do?"
"Dad, he's secretly contacting the other members of the school board to get everyone to vote to remove Dumbledore from his headmastership."
Lucius shouldn't be so stupid, after listening to Draco's words, William muttered in his heart, he should know that as long as Dumbledore still holds the title of the greatest white wizard of this century, then they will never be able to bring down old Deng.
Now Dumbledore's strength and influence have not weakened, and I am afraid that only Draco is still naΓ―ve to think that his father can really bring down Dumbledore.
Judging from Pansy's helpless eyes on the side, the girl should also know about it, after all, the relationship between the two families is still quite close.
"If the attacks continue, coupled with some media hype, it may cause some trouble for Dumbledore." Unable to bear to dampen Draco's enthusiasm, William did not express his opinion directly.
"Look at it, I'll just say, Dumbledore will be out of luck! Pansy, you still doubt me, you see William agrees with me. Draco said excitedly to Pansy, who was sitting on the other side of William, completely unaware of the disdain in the girl's eyes.
No, where do I agree with you?
William rolled his eyes at Pansy helplessly, indicating that he didn't mean it.
"Hey, hey, when Dumbledore is kicked out of Hogwarts, I don't think anyone else will protect that Scar of Gryffindor, and if they make any mistakes, I'm going to kick them out of Hogwarts as well." As if thinking of something pleased, Draco was giggling with the corners of his mouth on his lips.
He had already fallen into obscenity, and at the mention of the Savior and Dumbledore, the dragon's IQ felt like the second was negative.
"Stop speaking, Draco." Looking at Draco, who was becoming more and more unscrupulous, William interrupted what he had not finished.
"Don't forget that you're still under Dumbledore's nose, and that the things you envisioned haven't really happened yet!" He whispered.
Draco was really a little drifting again, and dared to talk about his plan to bring down Dumbledore in such a public place.
Although there are many little snakes in the Snake Courtyard who are also dissatisfied with Dumbledore's preference for Gryffindor and his attitude towards Muggles, it would be too arrogant to say this in the Great Hall!
He had always felt that Dumbledore possessed some sort of surveillance magic that would allow him to know what was going on inside the castle without leaving his home.
Thinking of this, William stood up and pulled Draco and Pansy towards the outside of the castle.
"What are you doing, William, I haven't finished eating yet!" Draco, who had walked out of the castle, asked with some dissatisfaction.
"It's nothing if you don't have enough to eat, and you should lose weight now, don't be a Seeker if you go on like this, a broomstick won't be able to hold you up, and do you know how much of an impact Uncle Malfoy's plans would have if what you just said was heard by someone who wanted to hear it and reach Dumbledore's ears?"
"There will be no snitches in Slytherin, they have not been happy with Dumbledore for a long time. Besides, where did I get fat? You should tell Pansy that she's been eating desserts and cakes from home lately. β
"Draco, are you trying to die?!" Hearing this, Pansy transforms into a demonic and violent girl.
"Don't you know that the sweets that girls eat are in the other stomach?"
"If I don't talk about this, I'm not worried that someone will tell me." William pouted, Draco had no idea how many methods a wizard of Dumbledore's level had.
"Who knows if the Headmaster has any special magic that allows him to monitor the movements of the whole school. To be on the safe side, it's better to say as little as possible. β
Walking on the way to the Quidditch pitch, William explained this to Draco.
"So there's nothing I can't say now, right?" Draco spread his hands, and the group had walked a long way along the path out of the meadow.
"Say it." William nodded.
"It's not just the members of the Organizing Committee, my dad has approached Rita Skeeter and wants her to help Dumbledore get some trouble with the Chamber of Secrets."
"Rita Skeeter? That big mouth that anyone dares to squirt? Uncle Malfoy looking for her? William asked.
"Of course, it's because of her that no one dares to say that we only found her, this big mouth heard that there was Dumbledore's black material to dig up, and when the achievement agreed, do you want us to let Skeeter also help us promote our company by the way?"
"There's no need to look for Skeeter, there are too many people who have been wantonly attacked by this big mouth."
"But there are also many people who like to read her articles, and besides, as you can meet, her popularity will continue to increase after reporting on Dumbledore's dereliction of duty, so why don't we take advantage of it?" Pansy asked, confused.
The girl saw the problem far better than Draco, at least she had clearly understood that Uncle Lucius was probably going to be difficult to bring down Dumbledore, and could only disgust old Deng, or fill him with trouble.
That's why she's ready to use Skeeter's popularity to promote a wave of William's alchemy company.
"Because we don't have to lower our credit, and if we find Skeeter and she's later sued for defamation and fiction, people will think that our company has the same problems, after all, she was the one who promoted it in the first place.
I've reached out to the editors of Daily Prophet and Wizard Weekly, and they all have a strong interest in the game, and we can spread the word in these regular newspapers, so there's no need to choose Skeeter because we have a better option. β
"When did you get in touch? How I don't know. Draco asked.
"We've exchanged no less than twenty letters in the two weeks you've been hiding from me, and it won't be long before I receive an interview invitation from the Daily Prophet."
"Cool!"
