Chapter 15: Where the Dream Begins

It was already dark, and in the afterglow of the sunset, you could faintly see a rolling mountain and dense woods.

The train slowed down as well, and everything was a sign that they were about to reach the place they had always dreamed of – Hogwarts.

After Hermione was out, Harry and Ron quickly changed into their robes, which looked a little short, revealing the broken sneakers on his feet.

"The train will arrive at Hogwarts in five minutes, please leave your luggage on the train and we'll take you to the school." A voice rang out on the train, then reverberated inside the carriage.

It's finally here, thankfully we don't need to carry our bags ourselves, Harry sighed as he looked at his large suitcase.

Soon, however, a strong sense of tension made Harry feel his stomach churning up and down, and Harry looked sideways at Ron, who saw that Ron wasn't much better than him.

The boy's face turned pale with nervousness, and his hands and feet trembled slightly from being too nervous.

The train slowed down and eventually stopped in front of a small, dark platform.

Harry and Ron rushed forward with the flow of people in the aisle, being dragged off the train by the crowd.

Harry shivered as the night chilled as a familiar voice rang out in front of him, "First-year freshman!" First-year students are coming here. ”

It's Hagrid! Harry hurried in Hagrid's direction, the presence of an acquaintance slightly diluting Harry's nervousness.

"First-year students! Are there any other first-year freshmen? Harry, come over here, are you alright? Hagrid stood in front of the clearing in front of him with an oil lamp.

Apparently, he had noticed Harry as well, a kind smile under his bushy beard, and he smiled and greeted Harry.

"Are there any more first-year freshmen! Alright, first-year students come with me, watch your feet. ”

Soon Hagrid was surrounded by new students, and Harry was surprised to find that the boy he had first met on the train, reading quietly in a cubicle alone, was among them. Is he also a freshman?

The chill of the night didn't bother William, thanks to the black robe he was wearing, which had a spell carved on the inside of the robe to preserve the temperature.

William looked up and inadvertently noticed a child with bushy hair with round-rimmed glasses looking at him.

I don't seem to know this man, William thought a little strangely, but he looked a bit like a savior.

So William smiled at the boy anyway, "Merlin is on top, he smiled at me." A girl next to Harry muttered as she looked at William.

Harry only then realized that the people around him would more or less focus on William.

After all, William is too tall in this group of children, and he has a feeling of standing out from the crowd, coupled with William's handsome appearance, he really attracts the attention of many girls.

They stumbled down a steep, narrow path lined with a dense dark jungle where no one spoke, and everyone was quiet from nervousness.

"Turn this corner, and you'll soon see Hogwarts for the first time." Hagrid turned back to the young wizards and shouted.

Immediately after that, the little wizards who walked in front let out exclamations, and at the end of the narrow path, a black lake suddenly unfolded.

On the high hillside on the other side of the lake rises a majestic castle with spires and windows that twinkle brightly under the stars.

Even William was fascinated by the scenery in front of him, without him, just because the scene in front of him was too dreamy.

He looked at the castle in the distance stupidly, the memories of the past and present lives overlapped, and finally came here, Hogwarts, the place where the dream began.

Next to the black lake, there is a row of small boats moored on the shore. "Everyone gets on board, and there can't be more than four people on board a day." Hagrid turned to the young wizards and shouted.

William found a random boat to sit on, and soon the girl who had a relationship with the Malfoy family, Pansy Parkinson, also got on the same boat.

The girl sat down next to William, and the bright moonlight reflected on the girl's beautiful face, and the girl and the castle in the distance formed a harmonious and beautiful picture.

Soon, Malfoy also took his two little henchmen, Crabbe and Goyle, to William's ship.

Malfoy looked at Pansy on the boat, slightly reluctant, but he still took Crabbe into the boat and sat opposite William.

As for poor Goyle, he was sent by Malfoy to another ship, but it was too heavy.

Where William hadn't noticed, Hermione stood there with a tangled expression, followed by Neville, a friend she had just met.

Just now, the girl also wanted to go to William's ship, but Pansy took the lead, which made the girl hesitate.

While the girl was hesitating, Draco had already taken the men to sit up.

This guy was so annoying, and the girl gave Draco a vicious look, then turned around and took Neville to Harry's boat.

After seeing all the freshmen fit into the boat, Hagrid got on a boat by himself. "Let's go!" He shouted.

Driven by magic, a group of small boats sailed forward, rowing across the calm waters towards the towering castle in the distance.

"Where did you go on the train, why didn't we find you?" Draco asked, looking at William. Pansy turned her head as well, as if curious about William's answer.

"Oh, on the train, I forgot the time while reading, and by the time I came back to my senses, it was already night." William said with a smile.

"Which college would you most like to go to?" This was Pansy's question, and the girl seemed to have a lot to say.

"Slytherin is also very good, but I prefer a Ravenclaw atmosphere, so I might go to Ravenclaw."

As if sensing what the girl was thinking, William spoke.

The girl did not speak again, and looked with some disappointment at the castle that was getting closer and closer, not knowing what she was thinking.

Soon, after passing a very-curtained curtain covering the front of the cliff, a pier hidden beneath the castle came into view.

After waiting for the boat to come to a standstill, the young wizards jumped out of the boat and walked up a road paved with gravel and small cobblestones, led by Hagrid.

Eventually, they stepped onto a flat, damp meadow in the shadow of the castle.

The young wizards ascended a flight of stone steps and stopped in front of an oak gate nearly eight meters high.

Hagrid raised a large fist and slammed it three times on the castle gate.

Then, the castle gates burst open.
