At present, there are only two sets of clothes that can be used after the temperature rises, and they are tattered beggars' clothes, which leads to the fact that my clothing problem is always difficult to solve before the flax is mature, so I am full of expectations for linen!

The temperature in April and May is the most comfortable climate, and it is very pleasant to go fishing occasionally and see the scenery.

But such days are not long-lasting, this year there is no crocodile meat, I can't go to the sea, just by slaughtering three or four sheep can't completely solve the problem, after all, my food can't be measured by common sense!

Living by the sea and not being able to go to the sea has to be said to be a big pity, but there is nothing to be done......

I haven't been in the sea since I was bitten by a shark, and I don't dare to go into the sea again, and being lucky once doesn't mean I'll always be lucky!

Of course, there are no dangers in the sea if you don't go to the sea, but at the same time, you will not be able to catch the main source of seafood and marine fish, and the fishing method is always inefficient and has a very high luck component, and the current fishing tools are not competent.

For a variety of reasons, I felt that it was necessary to change this situation, so after thinking about it for a long time, I was going to start another big project......

This time the plan is to dig a fishing trap, which is simply to dig a huge pool of water along the coast with deep water and more reefs!

According to the preliminary plan, the size of the pool will be more than five meters long and wide, more than two meters deep, and there is an inlet and outlet two meters wide and two meters deep, which is also the only way for fish to come in.

The pool is about three meters away from the sea, and it can even be submerged at high tide, but under normal sea conditions, the shore beach is above the water's surface, and only the outlet meets the sea.

This project is very large, and it is obviously not possible to complete it in a short time, but after thinking about the gains and losses, I feel that there is no substitute for it, because it should be the easiest way to catch fish and seafood.

Every day, as long as you take the time to come to the side and close the opening of the trap, whether it is fish or seafood, it will become a turtle in the urn and I will catch it all!

There are still two or three months before the summer comes, and there is probably more than one and a half months left except for rainy days and various delays, and if you want to have a stable sea cargo in the summer, you must complete it during this period, otherwise you may not even have the courage to dig sand on the beach in July and August.

The dimensions of the trap have been determined, but one of the big problems that needs to be solved is the location, and choosing the location has made me stumped!

The difficulty is that the water on the beach is not deep enough for no fish, especially big ones, to come in, and the steep position has no foothold at all, let alone digging a pool five meters long and wide.

So for the next two days, I have been running back and forth around the island, but I have not been able to find a position that can make people shine, and I suddenly have a sense of frustration that my ambition has not been rewarded......

The search continued until the third day, walking around the island three times, and finally pulling out a tall one among the three shorter ones.

This location is at the head of the island, and in terms of terrain, it is at the crocodile's jaw, less than a kilometer from the crops, and 13,400 meters from the houses.

The road in the past is not a problem, most of them have been opened up before, and it only takes about a day to repair, and it is very smooth to walk during the period, but the problem of traps is greater!

About two meters outside the beach here is basically more than five meters of deep water, and all the conditions are very good, but the width of the beach is not enough.

The beach is only about seven meters, and the opening side needs to be left at least three meters to ensure that the sea sand does not collapse, but in fact, the width of the excavation is only about three meters, which makes it impossible for me to dig a square pool.

It can only be temporarily changed to a rectangular pool with a width of three meters and a length of seven or eight meters, and the opening has also changed from the original side to the center position, I just hope that this change will not alarm the fish inside when the net is closed in the future!

On the fourth day, there was no direct excavation, but the original road was repaired, and the road that was not available in the last few tens of meters was opened.

On the fifth day of the project, the only tools that can be used are the shovel, and the other tools can only be used to enjoy the cool, and express "sympathy" for the shovel, if nothing else, the whole project will be completed with the shovel, if it can not be completed, it means that the fishing trap is in vain!

There's nothing to say about the process, it's just a boring and boring digging of sand, but it's not the same as the usual way of operation.

After determining the size, start digging from one corner until it is more than one meter deep, and then dig nearly three meters long, so you can see that you will carry a few wooden stakes before setting off every day.

The purpose is simple, the excavated sand is like a wall in a vertical shape, not only will it naturally loosen, but after the high tide, it will collapse quickly under the action of the sea, causing the pit to be filled with mud falling on one side.

After digging, the pit is surrounded by long wooden piles that can play a fixed role after being driven down, and there will be no more risk of collapse, although it is more troublesome, but it will not be reworked!

Even if the sand is easy to dig up, it is not easy to transport the sand a few meters away and accumulate it, and if you can dig out two or three square mud every day, you will feel that you have done your best when you go to bed at night, and you will not do better if you try again......

This lasted for almost a month, and the actual working days were more than twenty days, and the internal space of the pool was completely completed, which was a little faster than I had imagined before I started.

But it's not time to relax, and it's far from over!

I am very glad that I did not touch the stones during the excavation, especially the huge stones, otherwise it would have been a big trouble.

Now after the inside of the pool is dug, there is still a two-meter-wide inlet to be excavated, and when the inlet is dug from the inside to the outside about one meter and a half, a 50-centimeter-wide tank must be dug horizontally.

A long trunk will be placed horizontally on the top, and the net will be hung on the trunk and retracted until the opening side is hidden, and whenever I want to grab the fish in the trap, I only need to pull the net hidden on one side to the other side, and it will completely close the inlet.

The fish was completely blocked without even a hint of reaction in the trap, because I could sneak close to the side of the inlet without getting close to the trap and pull the net with a rope.

After the outlet is closed, you can slowly catch the fish inside, of course, the disadvantage of this trap is that it will be more dependent on luck to let the fish get in by themselves, if you are lucky, you can make a lot of money, and if you are not good, you will return empty-handed.

All I can do is put some food in it once in a while to attract them, after all, birds die and so do fish......

Digging traps is not just digging traps, the project is so big that it is very tiring to dig sand at the beach for a long time, so I will take a day off every three or five days.

Continuous work can not improve efficiency, and the results of a proper combination of work and rest can not be reduced much, and people do not have that kind of boredom mentality!

Today I plan to go to the beach on the island to look for supplies, and after I don't have much interest in fishing, picking up trash at the beach has become a major activity to pass the time.

In addition to finding two catties of iron and a few plastic bottles, there is also a big catch, which is to pick up conch.

I used to come to the beach when there were crocodiles on the island, and I came to the beach once in a while, and I kept picking up garbage and never noticed its presence.

I really admired myself when I found out that there was a conch on the beach in the past two years, and I had at least dozens of opportunities to see it.

Fortunately, it's not too late to find out, and it will be a source of seafood in the future, which can offset some of the demand for oysters and clams, and at least give them more time to recuperate.

The conches were black in color and larger than eggs, almost every one of them was close to 100 grams.

At the same time, conch is rich in protein and vitamins, and is a typical natural health food.

Picking up all the way, I got a total of more than five catties of conch, and the process is quite leisurely, I think this is a very decompressive leisure way.

When you get home, blanch all the snails with boiling water to let the meat come out of the shell.

Then use a needle to pick out the snail meat and remove the inedible parts such as the internal organs, and blanch it again to remove the mucus.

The method is relatively simple, directly fry the conch, stir-fry the ginger and chili sauce and then stir-fry the snail meat, the final taste simply indulges me, except that there is no lobster to eat enjoyable, its taste is almost comparable to it.

After tasting the delicious conch, the next day's fishing trap was still under construction, and even though the conch tasted good, it didn't put the cart before the horse.

Comparatively, the importance of the trap far exceeds the others, after all, it can be built as a means of stable supply of seafood in the future, even if it depends on luck.

Of course, the temperature is getting higher and higher, and it is inevitable that the work intensity will be reduced, and the mud that used to be able to dig two squares a day can only be dug about one and a half now.

Thankfully, it started early, and by this time it was only the finishing touches and the final opening time was approaching......

Three days later, the trap entered its final stage, and the water successfully rushed into the pit along the inlet, leaving it nearly two meters deep.

Seeing the clear and calm water, I wanted to jump in and swim, which made me think that when I wanted to swim in the sea in the future, I could use a fishing net to block the water inlet, and there would be no threat to enter.

I have to say that I originally wanted to dig a trap, but I didn't expect that the fish hadn't caught one yet, but I thought about using it as a swimming pool first!

The final finishing touches were not easy, and the gap and the sand more than a meter high could not be excavated because it was underwater, because the waves at the inlet were too large to stand.

As a result, you can only stand on the shore and stick a shovel stretched into the water to shovel the remaining sea sand into the sea.
