Chapter 676: Ultron's Destruction
The Infinity Stone cannot function without the universe in which it is located, so holding the Space Stone will not help Richard escape from Lucifer's dark realm.
But this possibility was naturally considered by Richard for a long time.
As Lucifer of Darkness said, he was never a man to fight unprepared battles. He is always accustomed to leaving a hand before the action, preparing the hole cards, but if he can't do it, he must at least leave himself a back road so that he can retreat at any time.
The enemy's abilities were completely unknown, and Richard thought that he might be defeated before he broke into the dark realm, so he left the space gem outside beforehand, and absorbed some of the gem's energy to make a mark in his body.
If it must be analogous, this is equivalent to using the space gem as his "space anchor", even if he flies away from other universes or even dimensional barriers, as long as he has a thought, the pre-set mechanism on the space gem will be triggered, and he can suck himself back to the location of the gem anytime and anywhere.
Since the Space Gem was left in its own universe and was not carried by Richard, all its functions, including spatial attributes, would naturally not fail. Richard activated the trap set up the moment before being struck by the light of the dark Lucifer, and in a matter of moments, he withdrew from the dark realm and sucked himself back into the vicinity of the Infinity Stones.
Although it was extremely dangerous, he finally escaped.
If the dark Lucifer still wants to continue to pursue it, then if he fights outside his dark realm, the four Infinity Stones of power, space, mind, and reality in Richard's hands will all be restored, and Lucifer's chances of winning will be much lower.
But the problem is a little trickier.
Richard thought about a lot of possibilities, imagined that he might face various Ultraman TV finales and special bosses in the theatrical version, and also thought of a lot of plans and schemes against the enemy. But Dark Lucifer did come as a surprise to him, as this is an enemy that shouldn't exist at all, a character who never even appears in the main story and was abandoned during the planning phase.
But it is precisely because of this that this enemy has become extremely terrifying.
Any villain who has ever appeared in a regular series has at least one thing good about it, and that's that Richard knows everything about them. He knows the abilities, strength, and strength of almost all the super bosses in the Ultraman series, and may even know their weaknesses and the solutions that can defeat them.
But Dark Lucifer is different. Because he had never appeared, his abilities were completely unknown to Richard.
Richard doesn't know his strengths, weaknesses, personality, and background, and doesn't have any intelligence at his disposal, and that's the most dangerous part.
And that dark realm...... Richard had never seen such a powerful domain before, nor had he ever seen such a special domain attribute. All the Infinity Stones in that realm were nullified, and as it stands, he had no chance of winning against the dark Lucifer in that realm.
Thinking of this, Richard couldn't help but feel a little big.
It doesn't look like this enemy is that easy to defeat, and this has to be done in the long run.
But the good news is that Ultron's problems are finally over.
Although the chaos has not been done for a long time, the chaos caused by Ultron is really not small. After all, he is hidden in the Internet, and through the network data, he can easily travel back and forth between the networks of any country.
Unless it's a pristine area completely isolated from the world and no use of the Internet, no one is immune. Ultron remotely controlled missiles, warplanes and other weapons that could be hacked through the Internet, causing riots around the world.
By the time Ultron was declared to have been completely defeated, more than 100 countries had been affected by the incident. So one can imagine the joy of the people of the world when Aegis announced that Ultron had been completely defeated.
The superheroes were also relieved after the battle.
When the incident subsided, Stark wanted to turn himself in and confess that Ultron was the one he poked out, but was stopped by Richard.
To be reasonable, this time Ultron really can't be regarded as Stark's pot. Stark's Ultron was blasted to Richard in the first place, and the Ultron that appears now is completely a moth made by Lucifer, including the Implaiza.
At this moment, the entire high-level management is arguing about dividing the pot, and no one has turned their attention to Stark for the time being. To the public, Stark and his S.H.I.E.L.D. are the main forces against Ultron, and they are the heroes who once again stopped the disaster and saved the world.
If Stark jumps out and says that I should carry the pot, then he will undoubtedly become the target of public criticism. The world's top brass will surely stop arguing and start criticizing him, and people who have lost their relatives and homes will not let him go. In that case, Stark would have to spend the rest of his life in prison.
Richard didn't like to see Stark sitting in the position of S.H.I.E.L.D., but he didn't want to see him go to jail either.
Especially now that Ultron has just been beaten, the whole situation is still in chaos. The regimes of small countries have been subverted by this opportunity, and terrorists have taken advantage of the situation to loot them, and the political chaos has become like a big mess, and the economic situation has been extremely bad.
If Lucifer's purpose in setting his sights on Ultron was to stir the waters up, then he apparently did. The current situation on the earth is a lump of X, and someone urgently needs to deal with it. In case Stark, who is the head of S.H.I.E.L.D., steps down at this time, then the question of the next director will have to be argued for a long time, which will not help solve the problem.
Under Richard's persuasion, this page was closed.
Stark tells the Avengers the truth. His teammates, though unhappy with his arrogant decision, eventually accepted the result. Everyone tacitly regarded Ultron's original origin as a secret, and no one mentioned it again.
The world is left with a huge mess to deal with, but politicians are so busy with PR that they have limited energy to deal with the problem.
The only good news is that there is unprecedented harmony within Parliament. In the past, at times like this, everyone must have started to throw the pot at each other, saying that whoever should carry the whole pot has nothing to do with the rest of us. But this time it didn't happen.
It may be because conspiracy theories are spreading on the Internet that the artificial intelligence that did the work this time was the result of the government's secret research rampage. The voices of the people are too loud, there are too many people who say this, and the tricks of banning and inviting people to go to the small black house are not good, and some politicians have dug up the black materials of their eight generations of ancestors, and they are embarrassed one by one.
Anyway, everyone is in a bad situation, and there is no one in the council to quarrel. Now everyone just wants someone to stand up and clean up this whole mess for everyone, and before that everyone pretends not to see, and no one wants to stand up and speak.
But the follow-up has nothing to do with Richard, and these are all headaches for Stark.
And Richard's side soon had more important issues to deal with.
