Chapter 655: The Lost Agent
Although it can't be said that it has been completely done, at least now all the branches of Hydra have expressed their willingness to submit.
Baron Straker had already learned the power of the space battleship before. A space battleship in the hand of the boiled egg turned Straker's powerful frontal force into a dog, annihilating most of the baron's living force and bringing him a devastating blow.
The fate of the baron is obvious to all, and his own body was thrown at the meeting site at this moment, and no one was cold yet. In such a situation, no one in their right mind would dare to ignore the giant battleship above their heads.
Maybe there will be some idiots who want to do something small, but Richard doesn't care. The soldiers will block the water and cover the earth, and a group of hydra leaders can't do anything to him even if they turn the sky upside down.
The reason why they were kept alive for the time being was purely because of the ease of troubleโalthough Hydra was unified, Richard decided to keep the stations and mechanisms of each branch and continue to operate it under the control of the original leaders of each branch. It's just that from now on, they will all have to be responsible to the headquarters of the Snake Shield Bureau on Richard's side.
What the? Centralize the power of the entire organization and take care of everything yourself?
Isn't that asking for trouble for yourself?
But if anyone wants to be clever, Richard doesn't mind going a little bit of trouble and throwing people into the Pacific Ocean to feed the fish. The big deal is that the corresponding branch has to return to a leader, anyway, the last thing they need in Hydra is people.
At the end of the meeting, the leaders left the scene with their own concerns. Old Mr. Malik was red and full of emotion when he boarded the plane, and he was clearly just a dog, but he seemed to be happier than Richard himself.
I thought that this series of things had come to an end. Unexpectedly, a day later, a group of unexpected people came running to find Richard.
"We need your help."
S.H.I.E.L.D. AGENT Daisy Johnson stood in front of his door, followed by Phil Coulson, who he hadn't seen in a long time.
Richard glanced at the two of them, and then his gaze fell on Coulson...... Head, to be exact.
"I'm guessing you've finally found a brand of hair growth that works well, or you've reduced your workload a lot since Director Fury stepped down." Richard said.
Coulson seemed to have immunity to his unique way of greeting, and now his facial muscles didn't even twitch, but said lightly, "You look good, Mr. Li." โ
"You know, I went around the universe a while ago and found a buddy who looks like you. He's a cosmic policeman, he's very hard at work, and he's there wherever something happens. And that buddy's hairstyle is the same as what you have. "So if you have any secret recipes, let me know, and I can give him some advice next time I get a chance." โ
"Maybe next time, we still have a mission ahead of us this time." Coulson said, "We need your help. โ
Richard shrugged: "Of course, come in." I'll get you something to drink, and you can talk slowly. โ
Even though both Coulson and Daisy said they didn't plan to stay long, Richard made a cup of tea for each of them.
"I've recently studied the lower tea ceremony, and I found it quite interesting." He smiled as he brought the cup to the table, "And it's a lot better than coffee." I strongly recommend that you switch to tea in the future, caffeine is really not very friendly to humans. โ
Coulson took the cup and thanked him.
"I'll talk about it first, if something goes wrong or you run into trouble in your Aegis mission, then I can't help." Richard himself made a cup of tea and sat down in front of the two of them.
Coulson shook his head: "I know your attitude, Mr. Li, and I have never forgotten it. But it's not about Aegis. I've never asked you for anything in all these years, and I believe I wouldn't come here for help if I thought there was another way to do it. โ
Richard raised an eyebrow.
"I'm listening."
"It's Simmons." Daisy said, "Jenma Simmons, a member of our team, a biologist at Aegis, do you remember? โ
Richard nodded: "Yes." โ
"She's gone." Daisy looked tired and said, "We seized some dangerous goods a while ago...... A huge stone. Fitz said it was a material that didn't exist on Earth, and none of us knew what the stone was made of. It didn't move all the time, so we threw it in the lab. Until the other day......"
"It kicked in out of the blue, swallowing Agent Simon, right?" Richard frowned.
Both Coulson and Daisy looked surprised, and the former involuntarily stood up from the couch.
"So you know that thing?" He asked.
"Yes, I know." Richard crossed his chin with his fingers crossed, then frowned and shook his head, "You really shouldn't be fiddling with something you don't understand. โ
Coulson repented: "Perhaps, we will never touch it again." But before I have to get my people out. โ
"What the hell is that stone?" Daisy asked.
"A portal to some deserted alien planet."
Coulson and Daisy looked at each other, each seeing worry in the other's eyes.
"You mean...... Alien? Coulson asked.
"Yes, aliens. But I'll have to wait until I see the portal. Richard said.
Daisy was delighted, "So you're willing to help us?" โ
Richard shrugged: "Sort of." โ
In fact, he doesn't seem to be able to help anymore.
Although it is not known where the Aegis was obtained, Richard estimates that the "stone" they are talking about, that is, the portal, is eighty percent likely to be the alien planet leading to the real "God of Hydra".
The stone used as a portal has been handed down several times from ancient times, sealed in different areas of different parts of the Hydra, not just Malik's hand.
It was a completely deserted and uninhabited planet, and there was only one intelligent creature on the entire planet, the so-called "God of Hydra".
For thousands of years, he has survived to this day thanks to the constant tribute of faithful believers like Gideon Malik on Earth. The Hydra old-fashioned faction persistently sent people through the portal to deliver supplies, and the so-called "gods" survived on these reliefs.
But recently, Richard took his place, making Old Man Malik mistakenly believe that their god had been rescued, so he didn't send people or supplies to the alien in the past two years.
Originally, Richard thought that as long as he left it alone, the god of hydra who ran out of food and supplies would starve to death by himself sooner or later, but now it seems that it will not work.
In the worst-case scenario, the so-called "god" may possess Simmons and wait for Team Coulson to pick her up.
