Chapter 173: Iron Man VS Xenobiotic Northfield
The claw, sharp enough to cut through the steel, was only less than half a meter from Tony's scalp at the time, and if he hadn't reacted quickly enough to roll on the ground, I'm afraid the whole person would have clawed the claw into pieces.
His eyes widened, barely in disbelief at what he saw.
The ceiling of the villa was easily cut open like a piece of cardboard, and the broken steel bars pierced through the cracks, and the giant claws fell from them, piercing deep into the laboratory floor.
Looking up at the claw, he saw a dark shadow that obscured the sky. The massive silhouette stretched across the outside of the roof, obscuring out all light sources with its massive body. Only a pair of vicious and hungry eyes could be seen on the pitch-black outline, just like a long-hungry jackal saw the long-lost food, flashing with murderous delight.
Demonic Xenobiotic Northfell!
Tony didn't understand how he had provoked this thing to chase him all the way to his house to seek revenge, and he didn't have time to think about it for the time being. His mind went blank for a moment, his heartbeat sounded like a drumbeat to pierce his chest, and the instinctive fear from deep within his body briefly paralyzed his hands and feet.
Sharp claws pulled out of the floor and raised high like a hanging kitchen knife against the fish on the cutting board.
Originally, this half-second hesitation might have been enough to kill him directly, but fortunately, the laboratory's defense system took effect at this moment. The floor was lifted, and machine guns and small turrets poked out of the floor and walls of the lab, and the dense network of fire swept towards the xenobiotic like a metallic storm.
The gunpowder exploded, the smoke filled the air, and thousands of bullets crackled and fell on the floor. Although it couldn't cause direct damage, it did attract Northfield's attention. The xenomorph roared, its raised claws splitting a firing turret in half, and didn't bother Stark.
Tony took advantage of this opportunity to quickly turn his head and run into the darkness.
An unexplained electromagnetic pulse paralyzed most of the electronics, but thankfully, Tony kept an eye on it, and the machine gun and the automatic turret controllers were all connected by fiber optic cables and grounded.
If Pepper had known that Tony had set up such a bucket-like stance in her home, she would have accused him of being too paranoid, but it turned out to work. If it weren't for his precautions, I'm afraid he would have died under the claws of the xenobiotic beast by this time.
In addition, fortunately, the previous six models of the Iron Man suit did not have electromagnetic pulse protection, but he added this new feature to the Mark 7 armor on a whim.
Mark 7's new Iron Man system was designed to fight things like Xenobiotics.
Now is the time to test performance.
Ordinary machine gun bullets and shells were of course only tickling the xenomorphs, who divided the pile of automatic weapons into pieces and scrap metal with a few slaps. Then it turned its head back and followed the scent to search for the location of the human who had just slipped away. It lifted the roof with its bare hands, locked its gaze into the darkness in the corner of the lab, and stretched out its claws to reach into the darkness.
The azure light pierced the darkness like a sword, swirling and striking Northfield's palm. The beam of energy exploded the skin of the xenobiotic beast's palm, and a burnt smell mixed with blood filled the air.
Northfield was furious, roaring wildly, his claws snatching at the wall of that corner with tons of force. The afterimage of the trailing tail flame burst out from under its claws, and the steel body flew quickly along the Xenobiot's arm, and two recoil beams pierced the Xenobiot's throat like a one-hit throwing knife.
The addition of the new element to the arc reactor not only greatly increases the power of the Iron Man suit's energy weapons, but also increases the lethality of xenobiotic beasts. The highest-output recoil beam slashed through Northfield's throat like a sharp blade, sending blood gushing through the wound.
Northfield snorted in pain, his claws flashing, and he quickly fell on the head. Iron Man's waist booster activated, and a short acceleration moved out of several meters, and his body adjusted his posture in a half-circle in mid-air, and the flames under his feet circled Northfield's body for most of the circle, while the double-palm recoil light cannon shot intensively at the xenobiotic beast. The powerful light cannon continued to bombard the xenomorph's skin, only to blow up the skin of Northfield's left body, and blood beads scattered flesh.
It worked! Tony's heart was ecstatic, and it was as if a boulder that had been hanging in his heart for so long had finally fallen to the ground.
Ever since the last encounter with Garrubus, the shadow of the Xenobiotic has been weighing heavily on Tony Stark's heart. Known as the "scientist of the future", he is a problem solver who is always accustomed to clearing the way for humanity to move forward. He hated things that were beyond his understanding, things that were out of his control.
It is precisely because Tony Stark is such a person that he designed a series of anti-Hulk, anti-Thor, anti-Phoenix, anti-Celestial and other armor in the original work. Because that's his job – to find solutions to everything.
Xenomorphs are by far the greatest challenge, the most invincible thing Iron Man has ever faced. But now he has proved with his own skills that this monster is not unkillable. He can make it bleed and hurt, and he can make it die!
However, there are no fuel-efficient lamps in the Xenomorphs, and even a weak Xenobiotic like Northfield should not be underestimated. The ferocious eyes of the xenobiotic beast quickly swept over, and it was terrifyingly accurate to capture Iron Man in high-speed flight. With a slap of its right hand, it slammed Iron Man flying through the air, and with a slam it slammed down the remaining northeast corner of the villa, and the walls and furniture collapsed with a clatter.
This didn't actually hit directly, but the wind pressure it drove knocked Iron Man down. Tony emerged from the rubble feeling dizzy and bruised in multiple places. Fortunately, it is the black technology of his battle suit that absorbs shocks, otherwise he will have to go to half his life if he doesn't die now.
Northfield didn't give up, and another claw fell. The warning sign on Tony's computer monitor jumped out prominently, and he pushed under his feet to start, and his body accelerated and retreated. The claws slammed into the air, and the shock wave spread through the dust waves, blowing the remaining structure of the villa to pieces.
The afterimage of the red gold broke through the smoke and dust, flying high into the air. The xenomorph roared, its gaze swept over the shadow, but it was too late. Red-hot laser beams rain from the sky, like the sharpest blades in the world. In the next second, the sharp claws were thrown high, and the fingers of the xenomorphic beast were broken at the point of the laser flash.
