Chapter 769: The Buddha has no appearance, and the Tao has no heart

The big devil once again told the story, but this time it was different from the previous stories, the previous stories all had obvious meanings, and the purpose was very strong, and the reason was easy to understand.

Now, the purpose of the lecture is very different, and the way of speaking is also different.

In addition, even Fang Bai only knows a little about the content he is talking about, so it can be said that the master in this story can really be regarded as a master.

Since he decided to tell this story, Fang Bai is ready to take this story as a lesson, because this story is not just a story, everyone's gain has a lot to do with the angle from which they listen to this story.

So, with the big devil's shout, most of the radish heads ran around, although the big devil is now in a free-range state for these children, but if the big devil really wants to go to class, then all the radish heads will put down what they are doing and rush back to class.

Because the classrooms in the academy were very old, Fang Bai made a blackboard in the middle of the academy, and all the students sat in front of them, some leaning against trees, some sitting on the ground, while Yin Bai leaned leisurely on a chair.

After a while, with Fang Bai as the center, a large area of the academy was densely seated.

Not only that, but Huang Xiaoming, Li's domineering student, and the few students that Fang Bai had taken in the Holy Spirit Continent also sat in the courtyard of the academy.

When everyone arrived, Fang Bai cleared his throat and began to speak slowly.

If he wants to tell, he must tell everything he knows, and what this story is about, it is naturally the story of the master.

But before we say that, we must explain the relationship between the Buddha and the Tao, and the Buddha is the Tao, so what is the difference between the two?

There are too many and too many things involved, so Fang Bai's plan today is to let these students clearly understand the relationship after listening to today's story.

You don't need to understand it too much, just understand it a little bit.

Among the middle school teachers, the most miscellaneous is the physics teacher, the physics teacher seems to know a little bit of everything, but it seems that he doesn't understand anything, but he seems to know everything, which is very inexplicable.

Fang Bai's head contained the Four Books and Five Sutras, the Four Great Mechanics, the Periodic Table, various Buddhist scriptures, and all kinds of messy things.

But he couldn't sort out the relationship during this period, because you can't get out of the sea of books, because you don't have enough experience, and when you have enough experience, that is, when you come out, and in the same way, that's when you get the Tao.

Before repeating this story, we have to understand the relationship between three words: Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. ”

"Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, you can completely understand Confucianism, that is, reading. ”

Fang Bai began to explain the so-called Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, the ancients were actually very interesting, all their words have their own meanings, why is it Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, not Taoism, nor Taoism?

The most direct relationship between these three is clear-mindedness, self-cultivation, and self-cultivation.

Read books to clear your mind, learn Buddhism and cultivate yourself, and learn Taoism and cultivate your character.

But this is not the reason why Confucianism is ranked first, the reason why Confucianism is ranked first is because Confucianism is the simplest.

In ancient times, Confucianism referred to Confucianism, scholars, and reading is a very simple thing for people, how simple is it?

It is only when you have read enough books that you can understand what is going on in your heart, otherwise, you will only be dominated by your own desires.

So after reading enough books, you will start to cultivate yourself, and what does this self-cultivation mean? It is to control the desires of your body, and then you will find that this is very similar to the Buddhist way of practice.

Why do Buddhists shave their hair and why do they have precepts?

This is all for the beginner Buddhists, does Guanyin have hair, does the Buddha have hair, does the Bodhisattva have hair, all of them, who doesn't? Arhat!

Arhats can be said to have the lowest status among the gods and Buddhas of Manchuria.

From this aspect, only those who originally practiced Buddhism needed to shave their hair, but as people conformed to the rules and added the word habit, shaving their hair became the rule.

What are the benefits of shaving your hair? It is to get rid of your troubles, and the green silk is also called the silk of your troubles, and to shave your hair is to wipe off your hair, and the purpose of the precepts is to control your desires.

If you skip the Confucianism stage and go directly to the Buddha, then it is very difficult for you to control your desires, because you don't know what you want and what you are pursuing, then the desires in your body will occupy your brain, and you can only control yourself by relying on the precepts.

Until the cultivation is completed, this time will turn to cultivation.

This name may not sound good, but another one is Taoism and nature.

At this time, you have seen a lot of things very thoroughly, because you have already 'attained enlightenment', which is an epiphany in Buddhist terms.

Shakyamuni had an epiphany under the Bodhi tree, he had not read, but he knew all the truths in the world, and he could answer any kind of question.

This is enlightenment.

And this Tao, and the Tao pursued by Taoists, is the same thing.

Taoism pays attention to the rule of inaction, and the Taoism is natural, not the so-called cultivation of immortals.

But if you want to cultivate the Tao, it's a very difficult thing because you skip the two stages of Confucianism and Buddhism, and it's very difficult to understand the Tao.

You have to have enough experience, go through the dust, know a lot of things, and then you can be enlightened.

The reason why it is difficult to cultivate the Tao is that the first 30 years of cultivation have been practiced by others, to take the simplest example, if you want to become the simplest Taoist, then you have to understand a lot of things, such as piano, chess, calligraphy, painting, poetry, tea, wine, and so on.

It can be said that the first 30 years of a cultivator are paving the way for himself, and the last 30 years are the experience, and only the last 30 years are the stage of true enlightenment.

The relationship between Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism is here, reading is the easiest way to practice, the more you read, the more you will improve, what you will improve is your inner temperament, talk and behave, etc., don't think that reading is useless.

Don't always say: "I am not educated, and I am lying in the world." "Self-deprecation.

Self-deprecating words like this, once in a while, others will think you are humorous.

Here I have to mention again, Buddha.

The Buddha first created Theravada Buddhism, Shakyamuni is a prince, a group of wives and concubines, and does not avoid meat and vegetarianism, and most importantly, do not misunderstand the Buddhism, do not confuse the smiling tiger in "Journey to the West" with Shakyamuni.

The Buddhism created by Sakyamuni is to persuade people to be good, but he did not force anyone, in his teachings, the most said sentence is that the Buddha has no appearance, and the scriptures he handed down, the Buddha in it, almost all refer to himself.

He asked people to cultivate the Buddha, and this Buddha refers to cultivating oneself and making oneself more perfect.

Buddhism was introduced to Middle-earth, and after many people's processing, it became a kind of foolish faith, and gradually derived Mahayana Buddhism, persuading others to be good, making people believe in Shakyamuni and believe that there is an afterlife.

Analyze it in essence, what is it beneficial to persuade others to be good, believing that if you suffer in this life, you can be reincarnated in a good person in the next life?

Good for domination......

Conducive to social stability......

It is conducive to the development of socialism......

Middle-earth Buddhism, to a certain extent, curbed population growth, stabilized social order, and benefited the needs of the upper classes.

Say too much so as not to affect religious harmony......

In the New Oriental Academy in the Imperial City, more than two dozen radish heads sat quietly in front of the big devil, and the bustling streets were full of noise, but it did not affect the academy.

At this time, a clear voice sounded, and the story began again.

"On the right is you, what is the meaning of these four words? The Tao has no mind, and the Buddha has no appearance, so there should be four people present, not three. ”

"Which four? Sanqing, Buddha, Master, and me. ”

"So who's in the middle? From my point of view, the three clears are in the middle, from the point of view of the three clears, I am in the middle, from the point of view of the Buddha, the master is in the middle, from the point of view of the master, the Buddha is in the middle. ”

With this sentence, the scene suddenly resounded with a slight noise.

After calming down in the field, Fang Bai continued: "From different angles, of course what you look at is different. ”

"The moment you walk up to the top of this mountain, you have a preconceived idea that these three temples were built mainly by the three Qings, what if you take a different path?

"Have you ever thought that what if everything you see is what others want you to see?"

"Have you been deceived by your own eyes, or have you fallen into a trap that someone else has prepared?"

"Everybody stands at a different angle, so what they see is different. ”

"It's me on the right, and who told you that I can't be one of them? From the perspective of the relationship between Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, even if I don't become one of them, I can be a Buddha, I can be a Taoist, I can be one of the three, right?"

"So...... That's all for this story, because the teacher doesn't know whether what the teacher said is right or wrong, you can't just because the teacher said these things, you have a preconceived idea that what the teacher said is right, this story, the benevolent and the wise see the wise!"

Fang Bai sighed and said, maybe it was the reason why the experience was not reached, he didn't go on, the story was here, and he couldn't continue to mislead these radish heads.

It's just that when Fang Bai finished saying these words, the students below all fell into deep thought.

The next moment, all kinds of noisy and chaotic sounds rang out in all directions.

"Wow, is that the end of it?"

"Isn't that a preconceived story!"

"Any other explanation?"

"I don't understand, I don't understand, I'll think about it again!"

It's just that when the radish head was talking about it, Li Badao suddenly jumped on the roof, slowly closed his eyes, and sat quietly on the roof.

Silence is the passage of hours.

When the sun goes down, it becomes a sunset, and then slides into the horizon step by step, no matter how noisy and lively the day, it will slowly calm down, and the night is always a quiet place.

The sky was slowly falling some rain, unhurriedly, as if it would not stop, and there was no sign of the rain stopping.

Li Badao was already sitting on the roof in a cross-legged posture, sitting cross-legged in the most peaceful state, countless raindrops moistened his clothes, and in the sound of dripping rain, everything around him was outlined.

"The Buddha has no appearance, and the Tao has no mind, which means that the Holy Buddha, you are originally me, and I am originally you. Li Badao closed his eyes.

In his mind, a man with one hand on his chest appeared, this man was himself, he had always thought that the Holy Buddha was his inner demon, his inner ape.

But just as he broke the shackles of the realm, the inner demon is just his preconceived idea, what is the inner demon? It is a distracting thought, a desire, a different thought.

Li Badao is domineering, so he has always wanted to destroy the Holy Buddha because he feels that the benevolent heart of the Holy Buddha is not suitable for him, and similarly, he is trapped in place by the shackles of the preconceived heart demon.

So he tried Yin Bai Shiniang's fusion heart demon, but at that time he was still very resistant, he felt that the heart demon was a vision in his body, and he had to destroy him.

Because for thousands of years, all monks have done this, destroying inner demons, and then achieving divine souls and advancing to the holy level.

It's just that no one knows how the heart demon can be eliminated, just like Bai Ruoxin slashed the heart demon twice in a row, the heart demon is the desire in his heart, how can the desire of people be eliminated.

"The Buddha is me, and I am also the Buddha, so ...... This demon is just my preconceived obsession. Li Badao, who thought about all this clearly, couldn't help but sigh.

This is a desperate situation, and perhaps even Li Badao feels a little desperate.

He always wanted to win the Holy Buddha, but in the end, he realized that in fact, this so-called Holy Buddha was nothing more than himself.

It didn't take long for the sky to darken completely.

In less than a cup of tea, the clouds above Li Badao's head flashed wildly, the wind was whistling, and from time to time there were some flying sand and stones, and a powerful pressure enveloped the entire New Oriental Academy, and for a while, the eyes of countless people were gathered on this former Confucian Academy.

In the Divine Emperor Academy next to him, the students all rose into the air, looking at the direction of the New Oriental Academy with a shocked face, the place less than a few hundred meters away, the person who was about to cross the catastrophe.

Just when the faces of these students changed drastically.

The calamity clouds in the sky suddenly dispersed, which made many people feel very puzzled, obviously they could feel that Li Badao was about to cross the catastrophe, and there were more people who hoped that Li Badao would die under this calamity cloud, but inexplicably, Li Badao did not cross the catastrophe again.

Li Badao, who was sitting cross-legged on the roof, couldn't help but hook a smile at the corner of his mouth, and muttered: "If I don't fight with you, Lao Tzu feels that he may have regrets in this life." ”

"Me ...... too"
