Chapter Twenty-Six: The First Battle

Nexus stood across from Pedron the Xenobiotic and took a battle stance.

This was Richard's first real battle - the previous petty fights, including instant kill abomination, couldn't be counted. He thought he would be a little nervous or timid when faced with a monster that should only exist in fantasy, but he didn't.

To his own surprise, he was emotionally stable and calm. As if instinctively, he felt as if he knew how to fight, as if even the experience and skill had been passed down into his mind along with the light.

Pedron screamed, and his entire massive body flew into the air, and it was hard to imagine that such a bulky creature could burst out with such incredible speed.

Nexus dodged its flutter with a roll on the spot, then spun around and whipped it hard at the side. Pedron's huge body shook violently, like a tumbler, but in the end he didn't fall.

The xenomorph spun around, its fiery red tentacles whipping sideways like a long whip, with a whistling wind in it. Nexus crouched to dodge, his left elbow striking its soft abdomen, and then he took advantage of the xenobiotic beast's staggering back moment to grab the tentacles on its head, and with a sinking waist and arms, he slammed the tens of thousands of tons of big creature over his shoulders to the ground.

Tens of thousands of tons of weight were smashed to the ground, and the entire territory seemed to sink down suddenly. The agents were knocked to the ground, overwhelmed by the wave of air that swept through them.

Coulson's heart was beyond comprehension—what kind of power was this?

Aegis has also gathered information on many people in the world with extraordinary abilities, such as the abomination that caused havoc in New York and swept away an army not long ago, and the Hulk that was born earlier, and the playboy Tony Stark's own set of armor that can fly away......

But all of this, in front of the giants and monsters that were crumbling in front of them, seemed to be nothing to mention.

Whether it's this giant or this monster, every blow that both sides hit each other is the power of the anti-ship missile level. Coulson envisioned something of this caliber against a well-armed, well-armed U.S. military...... To be honest, he felt that the army's odds of victory were not optimistic.

No, at least the giants and monsters seem to be fighting mainly in hand-to-hand combat, and their advantage should be more in size and strength than in the lack of long-range means such as thermal weapons, so it may not seem impossible to deal with......

Agent Grant Ward watched, his eyes flickering, not knowing what he was thinking.

If one to ten were used to indicate Agent Coulson's current shock level, then he felt that he might be twelve now. But soon he would know that he was surprised too soon.

Nexus ducked past Pedron and slammed his right fist into its massive mouth. His left fist was raised, but before he could swing it, a red tentacle reached behind him and wrapped around his wrist.

Richard remembered that Pedron seemed to be able to unleash an electric attack through its tentacles. Although it seems from the TV that the electric shock does not cause substantial trauma to Ultraman, it certainly will not be as easy as scratching.

Before Pedron could release the electricity, the blade on Nexus' right forearm lit up with gold. With a flash of golden light, the sharp knife slashed through, and the red tentacles broke in two.

Pedron snorted, his massive body staggering back half a step. The tentacles on its head began to heat up, and a ball of fireball swelled out and whistled towards Nexus at close to its face.

Nexus dodged just in time, and the fireball swept through the air, exploding in the clearing not far away. A scorching wave of air erupted, and all the onlookers had withdrawn more than a hundred meters, but they were still blown out of breath.

Pedron missed, and a second fireball began to brew in the tentacles. Nexus hurried to grab it, and the powerful knife slashed down on top of the xenomorph's head. Pedron was stunned and the fireball was accumulating. Nexus responded with a positive kick that sent Pedron staggering backwards and let out a long, heavy scream.

The time is almost up.

It's not that Richard doesn't want to come up and make a big move to clean it in seconds, but the rookie Orb children's shoes have already shown everyone in the prequel what kind of fate Ultraman will be when he comes up, so Richard still gave up this tempting idea.

Most of Ultraman's light skills are incredibly powerful, but the cost is just as huge, and it doesn't make sense if you can't hit accurately. And with such a powerful skill, once the air hits something else in the environment, it will often cause a wide range of collateral damage.

So normally, Ultraman will only use a special kill if he is sure that he can hit the opponent reliably.

Like now.

Nexus's palms staggered up and down on the left side, emitting a dazzling blue electricity between his palms. He took a step, his arms crossed and staggered, and the energy that had been accumulated to the critical point seemed to be pushed violently from within, and the golden light turned into a dazzling stream of light and shot out of the air.

Cross Storm!

For Nexus, who is temporarily unable to transform into a young form, Crossstorm is the strongest special kill he currently has. Although the power can't be compared to the ultimate of various youth forms, it is more than enough to kill an xenobiotic beast like Pedrone.

Direct hits! The golden stream of light hit Pedron's body, and in that instant, it was as if several strategic warheads were detonated at the same time! The light was smashed into the Xenobiot's body, and the flames erupted from the inside out, as if a huge fireball was expanding in the Xenobiotic's body, bursting it like a balloon, and exploded in the blink of an eye!

Nexus maintained the output of the Crossstorm for a few seconds before slowly straightening up and taking a deep breath.

It worked.

While not surprised by the result, Richard was relieved. After all, it was the first time he had killed an Xenomorph, the first time he had defeated an opponent of the same weight as himself.

But the question is, will there be a next time?

He didn't know.

But he was not afraid.

Nexus glanced at his right hand and clenched his fist hard.

No matter what he needs to face in the future, at least he has the strength and the opportunity to fight for his future, and that's enough.

Even if one day he has to face the legendary dark Ultraman, Dark Zaki.
