Chapter 21: The Real Thor
Hermione didn't show up all afternoon. Listening to other girls, Hermione didn't even go to the library, but hid in the women's bathroom and cried, no one comforted her, just repeating the sentence "Am I really wrong, really useless?" ”
A thousand bats flew low in the air, and the jack-o-lanterns flickered with blue candle flames. There are also students who change their appearance or put on fancy dresses.
When they walked into the auditorium, they saw such a scene. It was very Halloween, which made them forget about Hermione for a while.
However, halfway through their Halloween meal, Professor Quirrell wore his large scarf crooked on his head, a look of horror on his face. Everyone stared at him, only to see him walk up to Professor Dumbledore's chair, lean back on the table, gasp and say, "The troll - in the underground classroom - thought you should know. ”
With that, he fell to the ground.
There was chaos in the restaurant. Professor Dumbledore had to make a few screeching fireworks explosions on his wand's head before everyone fell silent.
"Prefect," he said in a deep voice, "bring the students of your academy to the dormitory at once!"
"Follow me! Don't get scattered! The prefects stood up and immediately carried out their orders.
"How can a troll get in?" Harry asked as they made their way up the stairs.
"Don't ask me, the trolls must be surprisingly stupid," Ron said, "maybe Peeves put it in to spice up Halloween Eve." ”
On the way, they met some crowds of people hurrying in different directions. As they struggled to squeeze past a crowd of bewildered Hufflepuff House students, Harry grabbed Ron's arm sharply, "I just remembered—Hermione." "That's right. She doesn't know anything about trolls yet. Ron reacted.
"But, I think, we should call Saul. They're still friends, aren't they? Harry proposed.
"I agree, besides, Hermione must have something to do with Thor when she became like this. He must be responsible. Ron agreed.
They quickly found Thor, and Harry got straight to the point, "You and Hermione are still friends, aren't they?" Hermione didn't know anything about the trolls yet. You're so strong, you should be able to defeat the trolls. ”
Thor thought for a moment and nodded, "So, let's go, look for the trolls." ”
Things went unexpectedly well.
When they walked to the floor where the toilet was located, the smell of a smelly sock mixed with a public toilet that was never cleaned made into their nostrils.
Then they heard the sound of huge soles of feet dragging on the ground. At the end of one of the passages on the left, a behemoth was moving towards them. They quickly retreated into the darkness and watched as it slowly walked into a patch of moonlight.
It was twelve feet tall, with dull skin, gray as granite, a large, stupid body topped by a small head like a cocoa bean. Its short legs are as thick as tree stumps, and underneath are flat, thick, calloused feet. The smell emanating from it was disgusting. It holds a thick wooden stick in its hand, which is dragged on the ground due to its long arms.
The troll stopped at a door and peeked inside. It wiggled its long ears, made a decision with its small head, and then lowered its head and slowly slipped into the room.
"That's the women's restroom!" Harry couldn't even breathe.
"Hermione!" After the two shouted, they slammed open the door of the women's bathroom. Inside the door, Hermione cowered by the opposite wall, seemingly ready to faint at any moment. The troll was closing in on her, smashing the pool off the wall as it walked.
The troll stopped a few paces away from Hermione. It was clumsy and she turned around, blinking stupidly, trying to see what the sound was coming from. Its little ugly eyes saw Harry. It hesitated, then walked over to Harry, raising the stick in its hand.
"Come here, run, run!" Harry shouted at Hermione, trying to pull her towards the door, but she couldn't move, still clinging to the wall, her mouth wide open in horror.
The shouts and echoes seemed to drive the trolls mad. It roared again and began to close in on Ron.
Ron was closest to the trolls, and there was no way back.
Hermione was stunned and collapsed to the floor; Ron and Harry hurried over to help Hermione up. At the same time, Thor's right hand had already raised his wand, and in the air in his left hand, a black-covered book "Frost Nova!" was floating! A ball of ice exploded at the troll's feet, hindering its movement.
Immediately afterward, Thor uttered the second incantation, "Soul burst!" "In the magic book, a black mist flew out, passed through the troll's body, and brought out a translucent thing from the troll's body. Then, a blast rang out in the air.
With this explosion, the troll swayed in place and fell face down on the floor with a thud that shook the room.
They were all stunned, they had never seen Thor like this, his body became a little translucent, and his eyes turned gray.
Suddenly, there was a violent knock on the door and loud footsteps, and the people downstairs must have heard the loud noise.
Just as the Aurors always arrive last, so do the Professors.
Professor Snape bent down to look at the troll. Professor McGonagall looked at them, Harry had never seen her so angry. Her lips turned white, "What the hell are you guys up to?" Professor McGonagall said, with a cold anger in her voice.
"Alright, it's fine. You don't need to be on guard anymore. Professor Flitwick arrived and said a few words to Thor in psychic language, and Thor used his wand to click on his magic book, closed it, and his whole body returned to his normal appearance.
"Drunk." Professor Snape placed a bottle in Thor's hand, and Thor drank the potion inside, "Thank you." ”
"The trolls are dead. Each of you deducted five points for the Academy. Given that Thor took out the trolls and protected his classmates, Ravenclaw was ten. Please, three Gryffindors, think about what you're doing wrong. Now, you go back to your respective common rooms, where the Halloween dinner will take place. Professor McGonagall was furious.
Professor Snape glanced at the scene, threw a probe spell, and left the sentence "Thor only took two spells, a minute." And he left.
Along the way, the three Gryffindors were silent, and Harry and Ron wanted to say something, but couldn't. Hermione was in the common room, and after eating a few cakes, she sat down by the fireplace and began to cry.
Again, she didn't do anything, and she dragged her feet.
