Yao Bancheng

There are several Yao buildings and Yao Zhuang in Juye: South Yao Building, Northeast Yao Building, Grape Trellis Yao Building, Dayi Xi Pavilion Yao Building, Chengbei Yao Village, and Archway Yao Village. Chengjiao Yao Tower is in the southeast of Juye City, two and a half miles away from the county seat, and there are many officials there.

In the past, Juye had a slip:

The two ends of the temple are pointed,

Walking forward is Dongguan;

Dongguan is good at slaughtering sheep,

Go forward and go to Wanjiatang;

Wanjiatang is good to peel cattle,

Go forward and then go to Yaojialou;

Yao's house has many roofs,

Go further and go to the dung basket nest.

There is a big top on the official hat of the Qing Dynasty, how many roofs are there in Yao Lou? Just the big seal of more than seven grades, there are thirty-two pieces of Yao Tower in the corner of the city. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, there were more than 100 officials of the Yao family who served as officials of the seventh rank or above, civil officials served as Hanlin, and military generals served as commanders.

After the corner of the city, Yao Lou, in front of the farmer's house. Every family that farms has a few dung baskets. People carry dung baskets out, see dung to pick up dung, see firewood to pick up firewood, rarely carry empty dung baskets home. In Nanxiangzhuang, there are many people who make dung baskets and sell them.

The ancestor of the Yao family is called Yao Qing. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, Juye was flooded, the water was several zhang deep, there were no people left, the government moved people from other provinces, and most of the people who moved were from Hongdong, Shanxi. Yao Qing moved from Shaanzhou, Henan, he picked a pick, and settled in Laozhuang first, Laozhuang was thatched at that time, and rabbits did not.

Yao Qing has a craft, he can make pots, bowls, and vats. Those who do this are called little grunts in my place. In winter, there was no farm work, so he picked up a little grunt and went south, and went back and forth twice a day to a few villages in the south. After walking for a long time, a path came out of the thatched hole, and it was bright.

On this day, after breakfast, Yao Qing went out with a pick, kicked something on the path, and looked down to see that it was a red silk cloth bag. He thought: There must be valuable things inside, and those who lose things must be in a hurry. That day, he didn't go anywhere, just waited on the trail.

Seeing that the sun was about to set, an old man came, walking down the aisle, looking east and west.

Yao Qing asked, "What are you looking for?" ”

The person who came said, "I'm looking for a bag." ”

Yao Qing took out the red envelope from his arms: "Is this it?" He said, "Yes." ”

Yao Qing returned the red envelope to others: "Why did you come?" I've been waiting for you here for a day. ”

The visitor said, "You are a loyal man." I'm looking at feng shui, so I don't have anything to give you, so I'll help you see a tomb. He looked around, "After you are a hundred years old, the place where you pick up the red envelope is your seat, don't forget it." ”

After the old man finished speaking, he left, and Yao Qing made a mark in this place.

After his son grew up to be righteous and good, Yao Qing told them about it: "When my father dies, I will bury my father there." ”

The children asked, "Dad, what's in that red envelope?" ”

Yao Qing said: "I don't know. How can you just look at other people's things? ”

This piece of land is in the south of Laozhuang in the south of the city, and it is the land of the Fu family, and the Fu family and the Yao family are cousins. Yao Qing told the Fu family about this, and the cousin of the Fu family said, "Our family has a lot of land, so I'll give this land to you." ”

After Yao Qing's death, the children buried him in the place where he picked up the red silk cloth bag, and since then, the Yao family has prospered.

This is a legend left by the ancestors of the Yao family. Some people also asked, is this true? Legends and legends are spread more and more; Whether it's true or not, no one knows.

Be a soldier and settle down in Renqiu, Hebei. The Yao family in Chengjiao are all descendants of righteousness.

The third generation of the Yao family had Jing Fang and Jing Yuan, and they each had three sons. The long branch meets, respects, and gives are the three branches of the front door; The two branches, Thai, and Wen, are the three branches of the back door. Each branch is prosperous. The Yao family has been cultivating and studying, and since the fourth ancestor Gongye was the commander of Huojia County, Henan, more and more juniors have become officials.

When the population increased, the Yao family built a house in the south of Zulin, and built more and more. That place was later called Yao Tower, and now it is called Chengjiao Yao Tower.

There are more and more officials in the Yao family, and the ancestral forest of the Yao family is getting better and better, occupying more than one hectare of land. There is a stone horse forest, there are many stone tablets, there are stone tables, stone benches, two stone horses, two stone tigers, two stone sheep, these things alone occupy more than two acres of land.

There is also a "flagpole family" on Yao Lou's side. There was a big official in this branch, and the emperor gave a plaque. They built a tiled gate building and hung the plaque given by the emperor on the gatehouse, and the door pillow alone was half a meter high. They also erected a flagpole outside the family temple, and the base of the flagpole was large and made of four large stones.

The upper side also gave the Yao family a platform for getting on and off the platform. It doesn't matter where the two stones go, when you get to this place, the civil official gets off the sedan chair, the military attache gets off the horse, and you have to go to Yao's house in a proper manner.

There was a Yao Xueying in the fourteenth generation of the Yao family, who went to Shunyi County at the age of fourteen to be the magistrate. There are seven of them, he is the fifth in line, he is black, and his nickname is "Five Blacks".

When the people went to the county government to file a lawsuit, Yao Xueying went to the court to ask about the case, and the two families had their own reasons, but he couldn't understand, what should I do? Hit, each hit fifty boards.

Soon, the common people made it up and slipped away: "The five blacks have black and red sticks, and they can fight lightly, and they won't ask." ”

His father, Yao Zhaoyuan, was a soldier in Guixi, Guizhou, and he was not worried about his son, so he secretly went over for a private visit, and when he heard these things, he asked him to go back to school and studied for two years. If he becomes a county official again in two years, he will ask questions.

Before questioning the case, go down to investigate first, find out what is going on, and then go to court to question the case. Since then, the common people have said that he is "Yao Qingtian".

Yao Xueying's biggest official was the governor of Shanxi. He was very close to He Shen, it was a teacher-student relationship, and when He Shen had an accident, he was implicated and fled to Taihang Mountain, saying to the outside world that he had fallen into gold and died.

Someone from above came to Yao Lou, let the horse run around the Yao family's house, and the things in the circle were confiscated and became an official residence, and Yao Lou had a "South Official Mansion".

Yao Xueying fled to Shangbali Ximen Store in Hui County, Henan Province, where there was chaos and many lawsuits in the past. After he went, many things were made peace, and the big things were turned into small things, and the small things were turned into small things, and the people stopped litigate.

After the county magistrate went there for a private visit, he gave the place a name and called it Heshian. There are now more than 2,000 people surnamed Yao in Huixian County, all of whom are descendants of Yao Xueying, and the people of that branch are living very well.

There is a grandmother in the sixteenth generation of the Yao family, who is the descendant of the ancestor of the third branch and the fourth ancestor of Qianmen, her husband is called Tiheng, and the younger generations call her Grandma Tiheng. Grandma Ti Heng is good-looking, she is the daughter of a big family in Wang Laohu Liu Men in Yuncheng County, not only has a good family, but also does business, she and Grandpa Ti Heng opened a pickle factory, an incense factory, and a grocery store in Juye County. When she was alive, she did not buy less (note: property), bought four houses in Juye, and built a courtyard and a courtyard in Yao Building.

When she came to ask for food, Grandma Tiheng not only gave it to others to eat, but when she saw that her clothes were damaged, she took a needle and thread to sew and mend them for others. If she couldn't sew a garment, she would give it to someone.

In the past, it was said that people lived for 70 years, and how many of them celebrated 80. Grandma Ti Heng was born in 1808, left in 1895, lived to be 87 years old, and met people for five lifetimes. Her fifth-generation grandson is called Nianji, and he took a car with her back to his parents' home.

Grandma Tiheng has four sons, and there are eight branches of grandchildren, plus great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, fifty or sixty people of all ages.

One day after breakfast, Grandma Tiheng said loudly: "Don't go out today, you are all at home." ”

The younger generations didn't know what was going on, and they didn't dare to ask, so they were all guarding at home.

She said to her daughter-in-law, "Comb my hair." ”

After combing her hair, she said, "Wash my feet again." ”

After washing her feet, she said, "Take out the old clothes and put them on for me." ”

A daughter-in-law wanted to say something, but she shouted her mother, but she didn't dare to say it.

Grandma Tiheng said, "Listen to me, put it on for me." ”

When she was dressed and her boots were on, she looked in the mirror, straightened her hair, and said to her son, "Set up the bed." ”

A son wanted to say something, but he called his mother, but he didn't dare to say it.

Grandma Ti Heng said, "Listen to me." ”

When the mourning bed was set up, she said, "Help me up." ”

When she got to the funeral bed and lay down, she closed her eyes and said, "Weep all of you." ”

The daughter-in-law came to touch it, but the old man was out of breath and left safely.

During the Qing Dynasty, there were many people surnamed Yao in Juye County, some were officials, some were doing business, and the Yao family house occupied more than half of the city, and people said "Yao Bancheng". The giant savage also made up a slip: "Yao is difficult to provoke, Wei is difficult, offended the Guo family and scolded for half a year." "There are many officials in the Yao family, the Wei family specializes in writing letters for people, and the Guo family is on an errand in the yamen, so you have to be careful when you encounter these three surnames. Whichever county official arrives in Juye, he must first visit Yao Tower in Chengjiao.

During the Guangxu period, Yao Shumi of Nanyao Lou worked as a Hanlin in the imperial court and served as a teacher for the emperor, and he was the same root and clan as the Yao family in Chengjiao.

Once, Yao Shumi returned to Juye, and the county magistrate invited Yao Shumi to a banquet, and also invited a well-known person from Yao Lou in the corner of the city - this brother to wear a cloth dress.

The county official set aside the main seat and asked Yao Shumi to sit on the head, Yao Shumi said: "The eldest brother of this family is here, how dare Shumi sit down?" I need to sit down. ”

When the people from the county government saw Yao Shumi sitting down, they didn't know what was going on, and the county official said, "You saw it, right?" This is the Yao family in the corner of the city. ”

Since then, the people in the county government have become more respectful to the Yao family in Chengjiao.

The twenty-first generation of the Yao family had a young master who was not doing his job, he got married at the age of sixteen and became a father at the age of seventeen. After his father died, the eldest young master was in charge.

At that time, Juye was the world of the Japanese, and the eldest young master was in charge of the pickle garden in the city, and when he entered the city, he had to get a "good citizen certificate", and he had to bow when he saw the Japanese. This eldest young master loves to play music, he doesn't want to take a step, and he rides a donkey when he goes out. He hung a string of bells around the donkey's neck, and when he walked, it jingled and was very angry. He went down to the restaurant with the dog, first bought buns to feed the dogs, fed the dogs, and then ordered food to eat.

The money earned from the pickle garden was not enough for him to spend, and he sold his land every year.

Once, he asked the beard to be tied away, and the beard asked for money from the Yao family, and the money had to be sold for forty acres of land.

Human life is at stake, and you have to sell it if you are reluctant.

Before the Yao family's land was sold, he sneaked back from his beard.

The money he earned was not enough to spend, and he went home to steal food. He coaxed his second sister to help him hold his pockets and said, "You help me, I will go to the city to buy you rare things." ”

The second sister asked, "What is it?" ”

He said, "Foreign socks." ”

At that time, everyone didn't have anything rare, and machine-woven high-end socks were rare.

He stole three sacks of food and didn't buy a pair of socks.

The eldest young master tossed like this, and when the land reform was carried out, the Yao family had more than 60 acres of land left, and the composition of the division was the middle peasant.

Yao's stone horse was stolen three times, twice in the fifties, and once in the eighties, and the stele was taken away, leaving only two stone horses. For the first time, Yao Mingting's grave was dug up, and I don't know what he stole from. Early in the morning, the Yao family went to the ancestral forest to see that a red silk quilt was thrown outside, and the red silk was the same as new. There were also two snakes, one green and one red, that they were killed and thrown outside the grave. Looking into the grave, there was water in the coffin, and it was shining.

In the 80s, Shimalin was exposed.

Five years ago, one of the stone horses on the stone horse forest was pulled away, and the rest was buried in the ground, revealing a horse's head.

The dismount platform on Yao Lou's side was also stolen, and the rest of the dismount was put at the door of the house, and the four sides were fixed with cement.

Now, Yaojia Zulin is a cultural relics protection unit in Juye County.

When the "Four Olds were broken", many things of the Yao family were destroyed, and the Yao family temple was also destroyed. In the winter of 2009, the Yao ancestral hall was built in the south of the Yao Building.

During the Qing Dynasty, the Yao family compiled four copies of "Yao's Family Ride", and in recent years, the fifth and sixth books have been compiled.

Nowadays, the descendants of the Yao family have all over the world, and Yao Xikai, the sixth-generation grandson of Grandma Tiheng, has served as a major general in the Air Force in Taiwan.
