Chapter 38, Aunt and Nephew

That's what I smelled. At one time, the Buddha was in the garden of solitude in the garden of solitude, and the great bhikshus were full of 1,250 people. At that time, when the world-honored one was eating, he wore clothes and held a bowl, and went into the city to beg for food. In the city, he begged and returned to this place. After eating, the mantle is collected, the feet are washed, and the seat is sitting.

In the midst of the crowd, the elder Subodhi stood up, leaned over his right shoulder, landed on his right knee, folded his palms respectfully, and said to the Buddha, "I hope there is! World-honored! If you come to protect the Bodhisattvas, you will be good at giving instructions to the Bodhisattvas. World-honored! A good man and a good woman, who develop the three bodhichittas, where should the clouds live? Why did the clouds subdue their hearts?"

The Buddha said, "Good, good. Subodhi! As you say: If you come to protect the Bodhisattvas and give the Bodhisattvas well, you will listen to the truth! Let it be said to you, "Good men and good women, who have attained the three bodhichittas, should dwell as this and subdue their minds as such."

"Only. World-honored! Let it be glad to hear."

The Buddha said to Subodhi, "All the Bodhisattvas and Mahasattvas should subdue their minds in this way! All sentient beings and the like: oviparous, viviparous, wet, incarnated; If it is colored, if it is colorless; If there is thought, if there is no thought, if there is no thought, I will cause it to be extinguished in nirvana. If it is the destruction of immeasurable and countless boundless sentient beings, there are no sentient beings who have attained extinction. Why? Subodhi! If a bodhisattva has the appearance of self, the appearance of people, the appearance of sentient beings, and the appearance of the long-lived, he is not a bodhisattva.

"Again, Subodhi! Bodhisattvas in the Dharma, should have no place to live, practice in generosity, the so-called do not stop the color of giving, do not stop the sound and fragrance of the touch of the Dharma giving. Subodhi! Bodhisattvas should be giving, not dwelling in appearances. Why? If a bodhisattva does not stop giving to each other, his merit is inconceivable.

"Subodhi! What do you mean? Can you think about the Eastern Void?"

"No, World-Honored One!"

"Subodhi! Is it possible to think about the four-dimensional upper and lower voids in the north, south, and north?"

"No, World-Honored One!"

"Subodhi! Bodhisattvas have no dwelling in generosity, and merit is inconceivable. Subodhi! Bodhisattvas should live as taught.

"Subodhi! What do you mean? Can you see each other in person?"

"No, World-Honored One! You can't see it as you are. Why? As it is said, the physiognomy is not the physique."

The Buddha told Subodhi, "All appearances are false. If you see things that are not like each other, you see them as they are."

Subodhi White Buddha said, "World-honored one! There are quite a few sentient beings, who have to hear such words and verses, do they believe in the truth?"

The Buddha told Subodhi, "Don't do what you say. If after coming and extinguishing, after 500 years old, there are those who hold the precepts and cultivate blessings, and in this chapter can have faith, and take this as a reality, you should know that people do not plant good roots in one Buddha, two Buddhas, three or four or five Buddhas, and have planted all good roots in the immeasurable thousands of Buddhas. If you come to know and see, it is an immeasurable blessing for all sentient beings. Why? It is the appearance of all sentient beings who have no self, human appearance, sentient beings, and longevity.

"There is no phase, and there is no illegal phase. Why? It is the sentient beings who take the appearance of their hearts, then they are the ones who live for the sake of our sentient beings.

"If you take the Dharma, you will be the one who lives for all living beings. Why? If we take the illegal appearance, that is, the longevity of all living beings, we should not take the Dharma, and we should not take the illegal. For this reason, it is often said, "You and other bhikkhus, who know my Dharma, are like rafts and parables, and the Dharma should be abandoned, not to mention illegal."

"Subodhi! What do you mean? If you come to the Anuttara Sambodhiya? What if you have something to say?"

Subodhi said, "As I interpret the Buddha's righteousness, there is no definite dharma name Anuttara Sambodhi, and there is no definite dharma, as it comes, it can be said. Why? As it has been said, it is not desirable, unspeakable, illegal, or illegal. So what? All the sages and saints are distinguished by non-action."

"Subodhi! What do you mean? If a person has 3,000 worlds and seven treasures and uses them to give, it is a blessing for a person, and it is better to have more?"

Subodhi said, "Many, World-Honored One! Why? It is merit, that is, it is not merit, so it is said that there are many merits."

"If there is another person, who is held in this sutra, or even the four verses, and so on, and says it for others, his blessing is greater than that of the other. Why? Subodhi! All the Buddhas, and all the Buddhas, the Buddhas, the Buddha Subodhi! The so-called Buddha and Dharma are not Buddha and Dharma.

"Subodhi! What do you mean? Can Sudra Huan think, 'I have the Sudra Fruit'?"

Subodhi said, "No, World-Honored One! Why? Sudra Huan is called into the stream, but there is no entry, no color, sound, fragrance and touch, it is called Sudra Huan."

"Subodhi! What do you mean? Stohan can do it: 'I have the fruit of Stoham'?"

Subodhi said, "No, World-Honored One! Why? Stohan's name is a deal, but there is no contact, it is a name Stohan."

"Subodhi! What do you mean? Anaham can say, 'I have the fruit of Anaham'?"

Subodhi said, "No, World-Honored One! Why? The name of Anaham does not come, but it does not come without coming, hence the name Anaham."

"Subodhi! What do you mean? Can an arhat say, 'I have the path of an arhat?'"

Subodhi said, "No, World-Honored One! Why? There is no such thing as an arhat. World-honored! If an arhat is reciting, 'I have attained the path of an arhat,' that is, for the sake of the longevity of all sentient beings of our beings. World-honored! The Buddha said that I have attained samadhi, the first among people, and I am the first arhat who renounces desires. World-honored! I don't do it and say, 'I am an arhat who renounces desires.'" World-honored! If I say, 'I have attained the path of an arhat,' then the World-Honored One does not say that Subodhi is a person who is a practitioner of Joy Alan! There is nothing to do with Subodhi, and the name is to do it with Le Alan."

The Buddha said to Subodhi: "What do you mean? If you used to be in the Buddha Lamp, would you gain something from the Fa?"

"No, World-Honored One! If you come to the place where the Buddha is in the lamp, you will not gain anything from the Dharma."

"Subodhi! What do you mean? Isn't the Bodhisattva a majestic Buddha?"

"No, World-Honored One! Why? Those who solemnize the land of the Buddha are not solemn, but solemn."

"That's why the Bodhisattvas and Mahasattvas should have a pure mind as such, and should not dwell on the color and the mind, and should not dwell on the sound and fragrance to touch the Dharma and give birth to the mind, and should not dwell on the mind without dwelling.

"Subodhi! For example, if someone is like the king of Mount Meru, what do you mean? Is it a big deal?"

Subodhi said, "Great, World-Honored One! Why? The Buddha said that it is not a body, but a great body."

"Subodhi! If there is all the sand in the Ganges, if it is sand and other Ganges, what does it mean? Is it the Ganges Shanin?"

Subodhi said, "Many, World-Honored One! But the Ganges are innumerable, and how much more are their sands!"

"Subodhi! I tell you the truth, 'If there is a good man and a good woman, and he counts the three thousand worlds with the sand of the Ganges with the Seven Treasures, and gives alms, will he be blessed?"

Subodhi said, "Many, World-Honored One!"

The Buddha told Subodhi: "If a good man or a good woman is in this sutra, and even holds four verses, etc., and says it for others, then this merit is better than the previous merit. Again, Subodhi! If it is a sutra, or even the four verses, you should know that here, all the worlds, heavens, people, and assuras should be offered, such as stupas and temples, not to mention that some people can be recited as much as possible. Subodhi! If it is where the scriptures are, then there is a Buddha, and if you respect your disciples."

At that time, Subodhi White Buddha said, "World-honored! What should be the name of this scripture? Why should we wait for the clouds?"

The Buddha said to Subodhi: "The name of the sutra is 'Vajra Prajnaparamita', and if it is the name, you should hold it. So what? Subodhi! The Buddha said that Prajnaparamita is not Prajnaparamita. Subodhi! What do you mean? If so, do you have a say?"

Subodhi White Buddha said, "World-honored one! If you don't have anything to say."

"Subodhi! What do you mean? What are the three thousand worlds with all the motes?"

Subodhi said, "Many, World-Honored One!"

"Subodhi! The motes, if they are not motes, are called motes. For example, the world, not the world, is the world.

"Subodhi! What do you mean? Can we see each other thirty-two?"

"No, World-Honored One! You can't see each other in thirty-two. Why? For example, the thirty-two phases are the non-and non-phases, and they are the thirty-two phases."

"Subodhi! If there is a good man or a good woman, he will give alms with the sand of the Ganges; If there are people who have received the four verses in this sutra and said for others, they will be greatly blessed."
