Rundown (extra story)
He rose from this calamity, this curse of ruin, and became a ghostly spirit, seeking the pleasure of torturing others, without fear of retribution or fear of the limits of mortality.
Over the next few decades and hundreds of years, his supernatural appearance gradually changed, becoming closer to the evil and cruelty that was brewing in his mind. What made Hammerstone laugh was the realization that most souls trapped in the black mist had only retained fragments of their lives, even the most powerful invaders, even Hecarim and Ledroth. And his own power continues to grow.
Hammerstone preyed on those souls who were inferior to him out of sheer malice, and his favorite prey was always those who suffered the most from his injuries. No matter how strong their determination, stamina, and faith were, he would crush them as slowly as possible, understanding their fears and weaknesses little by little, and playing with his prey to the end. When their lives are torn apart, their lovers are taken away, their sense of purpose is completely lost, and their hopes are completely extinguished, the hook of the hammerstone will be withdrawn into the palm of his immortal hand.
Even so, death does not bring merciful liberation, for those he kills will have their souls cut off by him and imprisoned in his cursed lantern, forced to witness his plunder for eternity.
Only one soul managed to escape.
Senna, one of his most hated Sentinels of Light, confronts Hammerstone in some forgotten secret vault and dies in vain. In the years that followed, her grief-stricken husband, Lucian, pursued the cruel soul and became obsessed, almost allowing grief and anger to consume him completely. For Hammerstone, it's simply a delicacy.
However, before he could take Lucian's soul, a slam of hatred broke Hammerstone's lantern and freed Senna from it.
The mortal bond between the two of them was strong and weak, and the intrigued Hammerstone decided to give them this insignificant victory, knowing full well that this game of light and shadow was far from over......
Senna's path to the sentinels of light begins in darkness. It all starts with the black fog......
Senna was first confronted with the Black Mist at a very young age. When the wreckage of the ship caused by the distant Night of Soul Eclipse drifts to the beach of her hometown, the black mist in the wreckage awakens under the contact of life. She and her village survived the ensuing Soul Storm, thanks to a nearby sentry...... However, after the attack, Black Mist has been following Senna for some reason.
She was cursed, the mark of the black mist that kept the horror after her endlessly, and the darkness approached her like a dying moth swooping down on the fire of life. She never knew when the next attack would be – and the scariest thing was waiting for the attack, and she was constantly worried about the shadows around every corner.
The sentinel who saved Senna was named Urias, a grumpy veteran, and he didn't understand why Black Mist was attracted to a girl. But he knew that if she wanted to live, she had to learn to resist. As a result, Senna joined the Light Sentinel Organization, where Urias belonged. The origins of this sacred order can be traced back to the former island of Fuguang, where the black fog originated. She mastered the Sacred Stone pistol given to her by Urias, learned how to channel her soul into the Light, and proved herself to be a fierce enemy of the darkness.
Although walking with Urias made Senna feel at ease. Thanks to his rough guidance, she learned to keep a gun's range from people. If she lets others get too close, they will be hurt when the black fog comes. Senna could never stay in one place for long, and she and Urias found that those who took them in were inevitably besieged. In the end, even Urias was killed, causing Senna to feel that she might never be able to get anyone near her again.
With a heavy burden, Senna sets out to find Urias' family in Demacia and deliver his obituary. There, she met his son, Lucian. He relentlessly begged Senna to take him with him for Urias's wake ceremony. From the first moment they met, she found herself cramped, and she didn't know if her heart wall could stop such a stubborn, but humorous and loving person. As time passed, it became clearer that Lucian was destined to be a member of the Sentinels and Senna's partner.
The longer they worked together, the deeper the bond became, and Senna realized that the value of the wall of the heart was not in who it kept out, but in who it was to welcome into it. As Lucian's love for Senna grew, so did his desire to lift her curse. Soon, this wish became his only goal, and the light in his eyes was matched by a pistol. Senna began to worry that the love in Lucian's eyes might only be sadness.
While searching for a solution, Senna and Lucian are confronted by the sadistic Wraith Hammerstone. But they were only one step away from revealing the secret of the Curse of Ruin, and at the same time being able to answer the root of Sena's curse, and Lucian refused to turn back......
Hammerstone threw out the chains, and Senna stood between the wraith and her husband. Even more painful than the scythe was the pain on Lucian's face. With her last breath, she screamed and begged Lucian to escape.
But just as Senna felt the blow of death and knew she had been defeated, she also realized that there was still a glimmer of hope. She'd been plagued by the black fog all her life, and now she wouldn't be afraid anymore - she could ride the black fog into the Hammerstone's lantern and see what was inside.
Her curse becomes her only chance to seek redemption.
In the years that followed, Lucian struggled to find his lover to rest while Senna explored his ghost prison. She learns that the source of her curse is life. The spark of life in her was brighter than anyone else—it was the shipwreck that drifted after the night of the Soul Eclipse that made her feel powered. At that time, a powerful immortal soul touched her and surrendered its unnatural life......
It is life that keeps the black fog away.
She could use this power to draw the black mist into herself, cutting off its grip on the other souls in the lantern. Among the souls she liberated were former sentinels who held knowledge long lost, including the origin of the curse of ruin, the source of her curse...... It is love that creates this curse.
When Lucian threaded the broken pistol into the lantern to end the torture of the soul within, the time Senna had been waiting for had come. She fled, surrounded by the black mist she had drawn from other souls. She died, but at the same time lived, living because of her curse. The Holy Stone Cannon in her hand, forged from a weapon left behind by a dead sentinel, can mediate the dual powers of darkness and light.
Now that Senna is no longer running away from the black mist, she can understand that the soul in the black mist is suffering. She endured the pain and pumped their black mist into herself, setting them free while defeating it with darkness. She can embrace death, become a resentful spirit, become a fellow enemy and use the life force in her body to regain her life.
Although Senna and Lucian's love transcends death, they now have to face the consequences of her resurrection. Senna knew what they had to do next, and it was a secret she had learned in the lantern.
Find the ruined king and stop him at all costs......
