Evil Spirit (Extra)
Killed twice, reborn three times. Mordekaiser is a ruthless warlord from the ancient times who uses necromancy to imprison countless souls in eternal slavery. Few people now remember his early wars of conquest, or how powerful he was, but there are some ancient souls who recognize him, and who have been fearing that one day he will return and rule over both the living and the dead.
In the last era, the murderous warlord Sahn Uzor wreaked havoc on the northern lands. Driven by the dark faith, he cleansed all the tribes and villages that stood in his way, forging his empire with blood and death. He rejoiced when he was dying, for he was sure that his deeds had earned him the right to be with God forever in the Hall of Bones.
However, what awaits him after his death is not the glory of God or the grandeur of the temple. Sahn Uzur stood in a gray wasteland, only a chaotic murmur lingering in his ears, a ghostly mist enveloping his body. Occasionally, a lost ghost floats by—some tiny ghost, trance in its own nothingness.
Sahn Uzur was furious. Could it be that his faith has always been a lie? Or was his conquests still not enough to earn him the eternal life he dreamed of? How could the emptiness in front of you be the end of your life, even if it seems endless. He watched as the weak souls faded into the mist, dissipating into time.
But Saan Uzur refused to dissipate.
His will, tempered by anger and brutality, kept him conscious. After a long time, the vague whispers gradually condensed into words that he could almost understand—he finally understood that this was Ouchen, a sinful language that was not of any living creature. A trick slowly emerged from his remaining thoughts. His whispers began to seep the veil between the different realms, promising his undefeated power to anyone who dared to listen.
He didn't wait long. A group of wizards heeded his call and decided to bring him back to the world of the living. Devoid of flesh and bones, he instigated the wizards to seal his spirit in a black iron plate armor that resembled what he was wearing, gaining power enough to despise mortals. The ruthless Wraith of Iron Armor was born.
The power-hungry wizards had hoped to use him as a weapon in their own boring wars. However, he executed them all on the spot, and the wizards' magic and armament were useless to him.
In desperation, they shouted his name and tried to seal him away again – but in vain, for Saan Uzur was long gone.
With an ethereal whisper, he said his name in Ochen: Maudecaesar.
He began his crusade against the mortal world once again. His ambitions are still great, and with the blessing of necromancy, his power is beyond his imagination. Mordecaesar forged a murderous mace from the souls of wizards, Nightfall. This weapon that commands the dead can control their resurrected undead.
In the eyes of his enemies, Maudecaesar seems to be obsessed with nothing but slaughter and destruction. The brutal conquest wiped out almost an entire generation.
However, Maudecaesar's plan was much more than that. He built an immortal fortress in the center of the empire. Many people think it's just a symbol of power, but some people discover the secret. Mordecaesar longs to master all the forbidden knowledge of the soul and death, and to thoroughly understand the material realm...... Or any field.
Tyranny only makes enemies. In the end, the coalition of the Noxie tribe, coupled with the betrayal of their cronies, defeated the Iron Armor Wraith. They severed the link between Maudecaesar's soul and the armor, and sealed the empty shell in the Vault.
Maudecaesar was thus expelled from the material realm. However, no one knew that this was exactly his plan, and it was a crucial step. Powers and trickery had made him famous, but he knew that a greater destiny awaited him than the Hall of Bones.
In the once empty wasteland, all the souls of those who died under his tyrannical rule waited. The undead after being eroded by dark sorcery will not dissipate. The most powerful of them became his pious army of immortals, controlled by his will...... And the weak also have their own tasks.
With these souls, Mordecaesar will build a new empire. They will be the bricks of the Underworld Empire.
In the Places of Runeterra, another empire has sprung up around the Immortal Fortress for thousands of years. Those who know ancient history still whisper the name of Maude Caesar with fear and awe. There are also a few souls of the undead who are long ago who still remember his atrocities. Their greatest fear is that Mordecaesar will one day find a way to return to the world and remain entrenched forever.
They silently prayed that this would never happen, knowing that there was nothing they could do to stop his conquest.
As the leader of the Black Rose, LeBlanc's identity is as elusive as the rumors about her, as fleeting as the illusion that gave her form. Perhaps even she doesn't know who she is, after all, she has been imitated and deceived for hundreds of years......
The founders of the Black Rose were the remnants of an ancient Order that was far older than Noxus, and the later Black Rose had been secretly plotting to manipulate it for hundreds of years, attracting the elite to join them. While few of the members of the Black Rose have been able to learn the origin of their leader, many have unearthed a legend about a Pale Witch. She is said to have helped the disintegrating barbarian tribe fight against the infamous Iron-Armored Wraith, who made the land even more devastated by the Darkspawn. To this day, people are afraid to say his name out loud: Maudecaesar.
He was once one of the core members of the Iron Armor Wraith's side, possessing unique skills and planting the seeds of betrayal against him. The sorceress made a vow to dissolve the source of his power, the Immortal Fortress, and to sever his connection to the Well of Death, thus draining the nightmarish empire from the bottom of the cauldron. However, although the barbarians later established their empire around the fortress, they did not realize that the mysteries contained in it were not completely isolated from the rest of the world. The Pale Witch had always had a talent for illusion, and her greatest trick was to make all of Noxus forget that there was a dark power surging at its center. Later, all accounts of her disappeared into history during the Rune Wars.
The purpose of the Black Rose's existence is to gain the ulterior interests of those who have the power to wield this magic, while also hiding itself in the everyday identities of ordinary nobles, who are attracted by rumors of miracles, and then enslaved and ruthlessly exploited. Even the most powerful military commanders can only serve the true rulers of this secret society, and within them, the rulers will fight each other for power, in a game of intrigue and conquest, both within the capital of Noxus and beyond the frontiers.
For hundreds of years, LeBlanc has secretly advised dignitaries from abroad, appearing in many countries at the same time, using her visions to disrupt order and create chaos.
