Chapter 521: The Murderer (Extra)

Did you kill my Luca," her voice hoarse with grief. Baidu search literature network, more good free reading. "Did you kill my son just because he was different"

The crowd erupted in demands for blood debt, and the sun began to set in the west, and the shadows gradually lengthened. Several clumps of dung were thrown on Aldojan's body, and his former friends and neighbors were shouting for his life. He swayed back and forth under the guards' custody, blood foaming at his mouth.

"I must kill them," he shouted, glaring at his accusers. "They are no longer them. It's all darkness. Some of you will have it too."

Lux turned to Judge Gilsay.

"What did you mean when you said your son was different?"

Giselle is grief-stricken, but Lux sees the unspeakable shame hidden beneath it through the cloak of grief. The judge's eyes were bloodshot and dark, but even those weary eyes still revealed a look familiar to Lux, the kind her mother had used to look at her mother whenever her magic was out of control when she was a child. Sometimes her brother would look at her like this, thinking she hadn't noticed.

"What do you mean?" asked Lux again.

"Nothing," Giselle replied. "I'm not interesting."

"How to be different"

"It's just different."

When Lux heard the flickering, she knew immediately how different the judge's son was.

"I've heard enough." Galen said as he walked to the high platform. The long flame of the sun steel sword body hissed out of its sheath. The blade shimmered in the twilight, sharp and cold.

"Galen, don't," Lux advised. "It's not that simple. Let me talk to him. ”

"He's a monster," Galen said, slung the greatsword over his shoulder. Even though he was not a traitorous servant, he was still guilty of murder. There is only one appropriate punishment. Your Excellency"

Giselle's gaze left Lux, tears welling up in her eyes. Baidu search literature network, more good free reading. She nodded.

"Ordojan. I convict thee, and enlist the Intrepid Garyn Crownguard to enforce Demacia's justice. ”

The man looked up, and Lux was full of doubts, and a feeling of uneasiness came over him, as if something was passing through his body. Something hidden in the depths whispered. Before she could confirm it, the whisper had slipped away. A cool breeze blew across the back of her neck, making her hair stand on end.

Dayan's limbs began to twitch, like a homeless man on the side of the road suddenly having a seizure. He whispered, his voice rough and faint, as Galen raised his greatsword and made a gesture ready for execution. Dayan's last words drowned out the crowd's shouts, but Lux finally pieced them together as Galen's greatsword began to slash downward.

The light is fading

"Wait," she exclaimed.

With a powerful swing, Galen's greatsword slashed off the head, and the crowd let out a cheering cry. The corpse fell to the high platform, two columns of blood spurting out of the neck. The head rolled down to Giselle's feet, and from Aldojan's corpse rolled a curling puff of black smoke, like the pitch-black slime that poured out of the corpse pit. The judge was stunned, and a ghost, with teeth and claws, and fire in its eyes, burst out of the dead man's skull.

The dark ghost rushed towards the judge with an evil aura. She screamed, and the ghost passed through her body before vanishing like embers in the wind. Lux could feel the last breath of its demise moment, an energy so vicious, so resentful, so evil, that it only longed to show its existence. Judge Giselle collapsed to the ground, crying in horror.

Lux's mind conjured up a hundred terrifying images that made her fall to one knee. The fear of being buried alive in the mud, the fear of being expelled from Demacia by his brother, the fear of a thousand slow and painful deaths. The glow within her battled the horrific sights, and Lux banished the smell of death out of her mouth, exhaling faint balls of light.

"Lux"

Galen whispered her name, and it took her a moment to realize how she could hear so clearly when there was so much noise around her. Lux's gaze turned away from the weeping judge, and she felt the magic in her body stir like a raging wave.

The crowd remained motionless and silent.

"Lux, what's going on," Galen asked.

Lux blinked vigorously, pushing away the last of the horrific images that had been imprinted in her mind, and followed Galen's gaze. At the same time, the fighters of the Dreadnought Vanguard quickly rallied to their captain.

Then, one by one, the inhabitants of Fosbello fell to the ground, as if life had suddenly disappeared from their bodies.

Lux gritted her teeth and stood up on her knees.

The sun completely disappeared under the western walls of Fosbayro, and Lux was dumbfounded. She saw black, translucent forms rising from the unconscious residents. Each black form is different, like an army of demons in Noxian armor, with giant spiders, multiple pythons, demonic warriors armed with ice axes, huge wurms with black fangs, and all sorts of other things beyond human comprehension.

"Magic." Galen muttered to himself.

The shadow creatures began to approach the platform, gliding through the air without a sound. It's a nightmarish tide of fear.

"What are these things?" asked Valya.

"The darkest nightmares of the inhabitants of Fosbello have become an entity." Lux said.

"How do you know," Sebato continued.

"I just know." Lux knew she couldn't stay here and fight. Her abilities are best used somewhere else, and the soldiers of the Intrepid Vanguard can hold it on their own. She pressed her thumb and forefinger to her lower lip and whistled to her mount while facing Galen.

"I have a way to stop this," she said.

"How to do it" Galen stared intently at the approaching demon legion.

"It doesn't matter what I do," Lux said. "Just don't die before I get back."

Lux ran to the edge of the platform, and Starfire leapt past the hordes of shadow creatures. Her mount was unfazed, its dreams and nightmares no longer relevant to the force that was now ravaging Fasbyro. Lux leapt from the stage, grabbed Starfire's mane, and stepped cleanly onto the horse.

"Where are you going?" asked Galen.

The horse raised its front hooves. Lux turned to face Galen.

"I told you," she shouted. "I'm going to pay homage to my great-grandfather Fossian"

Galen watched as his sister rode alone through the dark legions, carefully avoiding the inhabitants lying on the ground. The demonic creature lunged at her with teeth and claws, but she and Starfire deftly avoided it. Lux burst out of the monster's encirclement, lingered for a moment, and raised her golden-handled staff.

"For Demacia," she shouted.

The soldiers of the intrepid vanguard raised their swords and slammed their shields.

"For Demacia," they replied in unison.

Lux galloped away from town. Galen flexed his shoulders, ready for a protracted hand-to-hand fight. He raised his greatsword.

"Lock step" He gave the order, and several fighters responded in a fighting posture. Valya and Rodion stood to his left, and Saibato and Diadoru stood to his right.

"We are the Fearless Vanguard," Galen said as he lowered his greatsword, his gauntlet slightly below his eyes. "Let courage and sharp eyes guide your sword."

The oily black and shiny demon dog rushed to the high platform first, and the bloody mouth was full of fangs. Galen and the warriors of the Intrepid Vanguard stood out with a solid wall of shields and unsheathed blades. A wall of brazen knocked them back. Although they face enemies from the shadows and evil powers, they still maintain their fierce strength and tactics. Galen stepped forward and stabbed a monster in the waist with a greatsword, which would have severed the spine if it were a normal creature. The monster's form exploded into black dust, leaving a wail of pain.
