200. Alasto. moody

Snape's face grew heavier and heavier as he left the hospital, he sensed something was wrong from Lucius, why did the Board have to take the girl away at this juncture, not even waiting for Dumbledore to return? He had a hunch, hesitated for a moment, and walked towards the Gryffindor lounge.

But what he didn't know was that Harry and Ron were about to get to the common room when they saw a door that wasn't supposed to exist.

"There's a classroom here?" Ron asked, looking at the two doors that were very close together.

"I don't have the impression of that." Harry shook his head.

Ron curiously pushed the door open,

"Wow, it's so big, is it a utility room?"

Harry followed him inside, and found that there were indeed various things piled up inside.

"Where is this?"

"I think I know." Ron said with a sudden look of excitement.

"It's a responsive house. The mobile chamber that Fred and George had always wanted to find, it was said that it would randomly appear anywhere in the school, and only those who needed it would find it. ”

"Do we have a demand?" Harry didn't feel right.

"Of course, we are hungry and want to eat is also a demand. I heard that there are a lot of things left over from former students, so I took a good look to see if there were any of them that I needed. Ron said and stopped standing still and wanted to go inside.

Harry shrugged, realizing that he had a point, and turned his back to him and walked to the other side. Just as they were all moving away from the door, the door opened again, and a dark figure quickly walked in, then quietly closed the door.

Ron excitedly looked among the various items to see if there was anything he could use, when there was a banging sound not far away, he thought it was Harry who had accidentally made it, and he didn't care, but this sound appeared one after another, and he looked back strangely.

Two huge yellow eyes caught his eye, and he opened his mouth in horror but couldn't make a sound, and his whole body began to stiffen.

Harry spun around and didn't notice anything interesting, and turned to walk over to Ron.

"Ron, did you find anything?" He said,

There was silence over there,

Harry didn't take it seriously, and walked around the pile of clutter to see Ron facing him.

"Ron, you—" He noticed Ron's expression, his heart pounded, and a sense of foreboding spread throughout his body, and he quickly raised his wand to his chest.

Time seemed to slow down all of a sudden, and Harry could clearly hear his heart pounding, and he didn't know who attacked Ron, but from Ron's expression, it was not a joke between his classmates, but something terrifying. Afraid that he would not be able to solve the problem, he silently said to himself, and then quickly turned to the left, ready to attack the enemy who might be behind him.

"Close your eyes!!" There was a loud roar behind him, the voice was unfamiliar, Harry was sure he hadn't heard it, but out of the corner of his eye, he had already caught sight of the creature behind him, with its long tail and huge eyes, and in a flash of light, he thought of the basilisk that Dumbledore had said had attacked Kang and Luna, and closed his eyes obediently.

"Flashing light!" Then the sound of the spell was heard, and Harry heard a scream of pain.

"Alright, you can open your eyes for the time being, but stay vigilant at all times, this spell won't blind it." An unfamiliar voice came again.

Harry cautiously squinted his eyes and saw the basilisk flying all the clutter around him, with a golden crown on his head.

"It's good to be vigilant." A faint voice came from behind him, and he turned his head to see the comer, and took a step back in surprise.

I saw a man with long white hair, a large piece of flesh missing from his nose, and a scarred face looking at him, and most importantly, he had a prosthetic eye that was spinning around.

"Scared?" He smiled nervously.

"No, sir." Harry hurried back.

"Alasto. Moody. You can call me Moody, Dumbledore will let me protect you. As he spoke, he looked at the basilisk that had quieted down.

"Stand back, there's going to be a tough fight ahead, remember not to look it in the eye."

Harry nodded hurriedly and dragged Ron into the corner.

"Come here, big guy." Moody chuckled.

"Roar." The basilisk opened its eyes again and looked at the humans who were attacking it.

Moody closes his intact right eye and makes eye contact with the basilisk with his left MONOCULUS.

"I'm not afraid of your eyes, ugly things."

Moody's words seemed to anger the basilisk, and after realizing that its petrified gaze was ineffective, it opened its large, fishy mouth and bit Moody hard.

Moody limped and dodged his turquoise fangs.

"Piercing Spear!" His wand condensed a white spear and stabbed quickly into the basilisk's eye, and the basilisk turned its head nimbly and withstood the attack with its body, red blood running down the wound.

The injured basilisk became even more insane, and Moody had to close one eye and one leg was inflexible, so he had to dodge the basilisk's attacks and was unable to fight back.

Harry opened his eyes a little worriedly, carefully avoiding the basilisk's gaze, watching Moody in danger anxiously not knowing what to do.

Gripped his wand and tried to cast two spells on the basilisk, but the basilisk had no effect at all, and his spells couldn't break the basilisk's innate magic resistance.

"Bang." Moody was not in a hurry to dodge, and was swept by the tail of the basilisk, and the whole person flew out in an instant, smashing into the middle of a pile of debris.

"Ahem." Moody climbed up on the clutter and saw the basilisk look like Harry's gaze.

"Flashing light!"

The basilisk quickly closed its eyes this time and turned its head back at Moody.

Harry looked at Moody, who couldn't stand still, and was about to run over and drag him away, but there was not a trace of fear in his heart.

A reflection flickered in Harry's eyes, and he couldn't help but look over to see a sword with several egg-sized ruby swords sparkling in the hilt. He didn't know if the sword had been there all along, and he didn't have the heart to think about who had thrown such a valuable sword at him, he only knew that his spell couldn't hurt the basilisk at all, and this sword might be able to break through the basilisk's defenses.

Quickly ran over to pick up the sword, the basilisk's eyes were already open, and he was looking coldly at Moody, who was panting, and swam quickly to that side.

Harry lunged forward to the basilisk's tail, then stabbed down the sword with a force, and the basilisk's defenses were like a piece of paper, piercing through and then into the ground.

Since the basilisk was swimming towards Moody at a rapid pace, it didn't care about the little ant that couldn't even break its defenses, so its tail was split in two by the sharp blade.
