126. Three passes

Inside the Gryffindor 1st Year Common Room. Harry looked at Hermione with a puzzled expression.

"The invisibility cloak can only cover a maximum of three people, and there won't be enough space with you." He turned to look at Magos and Ron, hoping they could work together to persuade her.

McGoth ignored Harry's pleading gaze as he nodded to Hermione, "Let's go together, in case we encounter something that requires us to use our brains." โ€

"But the cloak of invisibilityโ€”" Ron reminded, and Hermione glared at him.

"You forgot the map? I'll go to George and they will borrow it and wait for me to come back. McGoth left the common room after saying that, but his words made Harry's eyes light up, they really didn't think of that thing, only Hermione didn't know what McGoth meant.

It wasn't long before McGoth returned with a map of the living spots, and he told Hermione what it did, and Hermione looked at the old parchment in his hand in disbelief.

"No wonder the Weasley brothers know so many secret passages, and even Filch can't catch evidence of their pranks." However, she was more interested in the spells used to make this magic item, and she picked up a copy of "Making Magic Items โ€“ Beginners" with great interest.

At nine o'clock in the evening, Neville was still in the break room except for the four of them.

"Neville, why don't you go to sleep yet?" Ron looked impatiently at the little fat man who looked at them like a thief.

Neville was frightened by Ron's tone, but shook his head firmly, "I know you're trying to sneak out again, Gryffindor has already had enough points, and I'm not going to let you go." โ€

"You don't understand anything, Neville, we're going to stop something very important from happening, get out of the way."

Neville stood up and shook his head firmly again, and just as McGoth thought Hermione would do it, Harry raised his wand.

"Faint!"

"Peng." Neville fell straight down.

"I'm sorry Neville, I'll be sure I'll explain it to you when I get back." With that, he stepped over Neville and opened the portrait in the common room. "Hurry up, guys, Snape may have passed."

Hermione gave Harry a surprised look, then walked out of the common room. McGoth nudged Ron, who was still stunned, and followed.

"Filch is on the sixth floor now, but Mrs. Loris is at the top of the stairs on the seventh floor, and we can't avoid it." McGoth opened the live spot map and looked at it, "And the exclusion zone is not shown on the live spot map, so we can't know if anyone has gone to the restricted area now." โ€

"I'll go with you in the Cloak of Invisibility, you keep an eye on Filch's movements, and by the way, you can see if Snape can find it now." It occurred to Harry that he could first look at the map to see if he could find Snape, and if he couldn't find it, he must have gone to the restricted area.

McGoth looked at it carefully and frowned, "Not only did I not see Snape, but I didn't even see Quirrell. โ€

Harry looked like this, and said eagerly, "Professor Quirrell must have been forced by him to steal the Philosopher's Stone, we need to hurry up and help him." With that, he covered himself and McGoss, carefully bypassing the cat sitting at the top of the stairs.

After the four of them dodged Filch's cat, Magos used the invisibility cloak to scare away Peeves, and then the group reached the entrance of the penalty area without any danger.

As Harry was about to open the wooden door, McGoth grabbed him, and he looked at Harry solemnly.

"Harry, since you believe that Snape stole the Philosopher's Stone, do you know why he stole the Philosopher's Stone, and that our lives may be in danger if we stop him."

Harry's expression changed, "I thought at first he was trying to make a fortune from the Philosopher's Stone, but then I thought that since he could get a magical beast like a dragon, he must not be so short of money, and then I looked up a lot about him, and I found out that he used to be a Death Eater, so I guess he may have tried to steal it from his former master, Lord Voldemort." โ€

Ron's eyes widened, and Hermione shuddered at the name, and the two of them were visibly frightened.

Ron swallowed, "Harry, you, why didn't you tell us. โ€

"Because I don't know if I'm right, but I'm going to stop him from getting the Philosopher's Stone anyway. Even if he really just wants to get rich. Harry looked apologetically at his friends.

"Harry, he, I mean the mystery man, he's always scared of Headmaster Dumbledore, so, I don't think it's possible." Hermione explained softly, as if convincing herself.

"Whether Harry's guess is true or not, if we stop him, he will definitely do something to us, so I hope everyone must be careful and careful, if you are afraid, you can use the invisibility cloak to go back, anyway, you can't use it now, I don't think Harry will mind."

"Why are we scared and you're not afraid?" Ron was a little unhappy that McGoth had set himself aside.

"Hey, I'm afraid for sure, but I'd rather see the legendary Philosopher's Stone. This thing is currently the only known piece in the world. McGoth doesn't mind letting them know what he really thinks, though they probably won't believe it.

Ron and Hermione unsurprisingly didn't opt out, even though they looked much more nervous than they had been.

With the creak of the door opening, they heard the sound of music coming out of it and three loud snorts.

"Fireflies flicker!" When McGoth heard the music, he knew they weren't too late, at least earlier than in the books.

"Look, it's a harp, apparently Snape is here, and as soon as the music plays, Louwe will fall asleep." Harry said, pointing to the harp at Lowe feet.

"We've got to hurry, this harp is magically activated, and we can't get it to sound again if it stops." Hermione walked in and looked at her eagerly.

"Here, there's a trapdoor down here." Ron pointed to one of the heads of Lowe and shouted.

They crept over to Lu Wei's foul mouth and pulled up the trapdoor.

"Oops, it's too dark inside to see anything." Even if McGoth threw the ball of light into the hole, Ron couldn't see what was at the bottom.

"I'll go down and have a look, and then if you see a light coming out below, go down." Magos stopped Harry's idea of going down first, he knew from the conversation that day that there was a century-old devil's net down there, and it was impossible to land safely just by not moving, but fortunately he had learned the Fire Charm before the exam.

"Be careful." Hermione looked worried.

Magos made a gesture that was okay and slowly climbed into the hole, then put a squemp on himself and continued to crawl inside. Until he crawled to the end, he jumped out of the hole without thinking and fell on top of something soft. Then he quickly raised his wand.

"The fire is raging!" The sudden flash of fire in the darkness caused the vines under his feet to swim violently, but this level of flame did not completely loosen the vines, only caused him to fall to the middle floor, and this was the one where Harry and the three of them also fell from the hole.

"What is this?" Ron screamed in fright as he watched the vines swim around.

Harry was also at a loss, apparently not recognizing that this was the devil's net they had studied.

"Oh my God, this is the devil's net, don't move." Hermione snapped in recognition and exclaimed.

"Magos?" Harry looked around and didn't see McGoss's worried shouting.

"I'm below you, Hermione, this is no ordinary devil's net, we'll use the fire spell together later, only then can we land safely." Magos's flat voice relieved Harry and Hermione, who were afraid he was in danger.

"What is the Fire Curse? Ah, they got tangled around my feet. Ron cried out in horror.

"Put."

"The fire is raging!" *3

Three small fiery snakes appeared, one of which was in the middle of its vines, and then its vines disappeared so quickly that the four of them fell to the ground.

"Okay, it's dangerous." Ron sat on the ground panting for air, and Harry and Hermione weren't much better than him.

"I decided I had to learn Occlumency as soon as possible." Harry looked enviously at Magos, whose face was not red and his heart was not beating. The way he looked now knew he had used that spell.

"I don't know what danger will be in the future, you guys have a good rest, I'll go to the front and have a look." As he spoke, he continued to walk forward.

'I'm useless. Ron looked at Magos, who was walking alone, and lowered his head a little uncomfortably when he thought that he would not be able to use the fire charm just now.

When McGoth stepped out of the darkness and saw a room with countless jewel-like birds flapping their wings flying around, he was afraid that the level would not be the same as in the original book, but fortunately, it didn't look much different from the original book.

He glanced at the heavy wooden door on the opposite side and the broomsticks in the middle row, and was about to go back to call them when he heard footsteps behind him.

"What is this? It's beautiful. "Shiny things are still very attractive to girls.

"It's the key, we need to grab the right key with a broomstick to open the door on the other side."

"Will they attack us?"

"Probably not, but not necessarily if we ride a broomstick, now it's all about how we can find out which one of the hundreds of keys we need."

"I'm going to look at the lock, and I think I can tell what kind of key it should be." With that, Ron walked into the brightly lit room in front of him. McGoth: They followed.

Ron looked at the lock for a moment and then said, "This key should be three to four times the size of a normal key, and the color is probably either white or silver, and it has a large handle at the top. โ€

Ron's words whittled them down to three.

"Alright, Ron and I each chase a key, and McGoth and Hermione try to catch another key." Harry confidently looked at the keys flying from the roof, while McGoth and Hermione felt pain.
