Chapter 228: Destiny's Adventure

When it comes to exploring the Great Desert of Shurima, the most thrilling and great adventurer is none other than Ezreal.

Ezreal is a confident explorer with an amazing knack for dealing with trouble, and his quest for adventure can be found in the Runeterra.

The magic weapon he always accompanies is a magic gauntlet unearthed from the ancient tomb of Shurima. His daily passion is to provoke fate, to explore the mysterious and fatal dangers, in order to uncover the world's most hidden unsolved mysteries.

Ezreal's parents were a pair of well-known businessmen, and their business often required them to travel to dangerous and remote places, and at such times, Ezreal would be left in Piltover to foster his uncle, Professor Lemire.

The professor didn't like to discipline this unruly child, so in order to ease his burden, he arranged for many of the strictest tutors to teach him about technology and magic, Hex, mechanics, archaeology, history, and so on.

Ezreal has an innate talent for learning comprehension, and all this heavy workload is a waste of time for him. He was able to pass the exam easily with little to no revision preparation, much to the chagrin of his uncle.

Ezreal has always been unable to contain his curiosity and curiosity, and his happiest thing is to avoid the control agents wandering around and discovering secret locations.

His natural spatial perception allows him to easily orient himself, wandering through the labyrinth of university underpasses and eaves, finding many secret warehouses and seeing all kinds of treasures.

Ezreal also practiced lockpicking on the office doors of university professors and helped them tidy up their rooms – simply because he found it fun. Ezreal's parents would return regularly to sell all sorts of strange objects they had acquired from afar. Ezreal's father was on a quest for rarer and more magical treasures, and he decided to explore a lost tomb owned by an ancient mage named Nazuk.

Legend has it that he has a pair of twisted horns on his head, and legend has it that his tomb contains a magical gem that allows the wearer to teleport. Ezreal's father joked that if he found this priceless item, he would be able to go home for dinner every day.

Ezreal wanted to embark on an adventure with her parents, but they said it was a daily routine. As the little boy grows older, his parents spend more and more time away from home. Until one year, they left and never returned.

Professor Lemuel heard that the couple ventured into the ruins of Shurima and never reappeared. He tells Ezreal that his parents may have befallen him, but Ezreal is convinced that his family is alive and is looking for ways to get back to him. He would often delay dinner as long as possible, hoping that his parents would suddenly show up with Nezuk's magic stone.

Ezreal was determined to find his parents, or at least find out what had happened to them. His only clue is his father's final destination: the lost Mausoleum of Najuk.

In the years that followed, Piltover became Ezreal's playground, and no workshop or laboratory could lock him out.

He had spent weeks gathering supplies from the university: star maps, translations of rune marks, research on ancient Shurima funeral customs, and a pair of goggles. He left a note of farewell to his uncle and secretly boarded a cargo ship destined for Nashram, the port city of Shurima.

During the voyage, the ship's catering officer spotted Ezreal smuggling. The captain threatened to throw him overboard. Standing on the outboard of the ship's planks to keep his balance, he told the captain that he had planned to abandon ship and escape, as the chances of surviving at sea were higher than waiting to die on board.

He took out the star map and explained to them that the ship was heading for a shallow reef where the shattered graves of countless ships were located. Ezreal was appointed chief navigator on the spot, and the original drunkard navigator was thrown off the ship in Ezreal's place.

As soon as the ship docked in Nashrame, Ezreal began searching for Nazouk's tomb. He spent months exploring the ruined grottoes and lost temples that had been hidden for centuries. He mapped out a complete map of the ancient tombs and escaped from the terrifying guards of the vaults...... He tasted unfettered freedom.

With each step forward, Ezreal imagined himself following in the footsteps of his parents, one step closer to solving the mystery of their disappearance.

In the burial chamber of an ancient emperor who had long since died, Ezreal noticed that the mosaic slabs on the floor were surprisingly flat, as if they had been recently paved. He hurriedly chiseled open a corner of the brick, revealing the portrait hidden underneath, which had long since faded its vivid colors.

Ezreal lifted the bricks one by one, unable to contain his excitement. He saw a mural with Nazouk's signature twisted horns on his head. Ezreal tightened a rope and continued deeper, groping his way through the dark tombs, breathing harder and harder.

When he reappeared in the light, he had a heavy bronze gauntlet on his arm, and a blue gemstone amulet inlaid in the center. As Ezreal crawled out of the tomb, the walls around him began to crumble under the violent tremors. Although he could no longer see the way out, he could imagine in his mind that he was standing at the entrance to the tomb directly above.

He felt the gauntlets gather energy, and with a flash of flash from the gem amulet, he found himself teleported to the location he had just had in mind.

The amulet's crystal core contains powerful energy, and it has proven to be the perfect escape tool. Ezreal also discovers that the gauntlet is capable of emitting magical light projectiles, in exchange for which he accidentally destroys the piers of a stone bridge.

With this gauntlet, he had escaped from a troop of wanderers, who believed he was the incarnation of an ascended being; He had survived a desert storm and miraculously survived when he was already buried under the heavy sand; He also encountered a group of ferocious Axes, and finally beat them to the ground.

This artifact is not without limitations, it takes a long time to refill with energy, and the distance to be teleported is very short.

Unfortunately, Ezreal was even more nervous now, and if his parents were still alive, he wouldn't be able to find the gauntlet right now. But what he didn't know was that there was another identical twin treasure in this gauntlet, which had been unearthed from the same tomb a few years earlier. Ezreal vows to follow the trajectory of his parents' lives, explore the world, and pursue exciting adventures into the unknown.

With a magical gauntlet by her side, Ezreal is more reckless in challenging situations, often escaping danger and surviving desperate situations.

He fearlessly sought out the most exciting and dangerous remote locations in the Runeterra, always relying on his inexhaustible luck. He also boldly believes that good fortune will always accompany him on his next adventure.
