Chapter 557: The Return (Extra)

Flickering missiles erupted from Lulu's staff. Wherever the missiles fell, people were overturned, and they fell into sparks as hot as a bush of petals and poisonous mist. As soon as the two yodelers hit the ground, they ran away. Tristana turned and opened fire on the Noxians with their heads up, while Lulu lay on her stomach and groped around for her toot.

"Come to me, toot," she whispered into the lawn, "please, please, please!" Next time I'll let you decide where to take us. ”

The beep—whatever its real name was—didn't respond, but I could feel it rolling away from Lulu. Well, it's not really rolling, it's more like being there, allowing herself to appear where she's not. It is a very old and powerful magical object, but it has a childlike mind. It seems that it feels like it's a fun game. Maybe it's funny, because Lulu is laughing and bouncing around in the clearing. She looks like a weasel chasing her own tail. It turned into a large snail when Lulu pounced. But when she took her hand away, all that was left was slimy. It turned into a ball of soft light, and reappeared behind Lulu, turning into a wooden man, stepping on two long and short legs, and walking away with stiff steps.

Tristana crushed the Noxians with a round of artillery fire. I heard Draeven finally remove his axe from the Silverbark Tree, the blade covered in sticky sap. He turned and walked between the bunkers, unconsciously approaching Tristana like a cat, his limbs tense and engrossed. He took one hand behind his back and prepared to throw another axe.

A squad of wasps swooped down on him and engaged in a grappling wrestling while an entire battalion of angry squirrels jumped from the trees. His axe was completely off target, and he plunged into the earth with a thud. The Noxus were still tethered to the place, but now all that was left were a mess of hoof prints and a few discarded saddles. Draven frantically tossed and turned, dragging squirrels from his arms and necks that were clawing and biting. Squirrels are thugs in the forest. Rabbits are just silent, while squirrels will pounce on you and bite off your ears the moment you turn around.

Lulu didn't lift her head. She was still running and jumping in circles, giggling like a child, as she shot light bullets from her staff.

Tamara lunged out of cover and ran straight for Lulu. I used my magic to put obstacles in her way. The mad mole burrows in front of her, but she threads needles between these improvised traps. Hook Thorn whipped her with her thorny branches, but she slipped out of the way from below. She looked around and began to realize that she had another enemy to face—one she couldn't see or fight.

"Got you!" Lulu yelled, finally catching her doodle. Now it looks like a handful of branches, bundled together with blades of grass and spider silk.

Tamara leaped over the tendrils I had pulled out of the ground and rolled over to her feet. Lulu's conjured stardust sparkle illuminates Tamara's rapier before it goes out completely. She was about to stab her deadly sword.

That's when Tristana arrived.

She raised the "boom" with all her might, and it seemed that her cannon had suddenly become heavier.

Very heavy.

"She's my friend, little ghost," she pulled the trigger as soon as she finished speaking.

The rumbling cannon was deafening, and even the birds beyond the two rivers to the west were startled into the sky. Tongues of fire erupted from the muzzle of the cannon, and a huge cannonball exploded. The massive recoil caused Tristana to spin in place, but it was nothing compared to Tamara's situation.

It was as if Tamara had been punched by an angry monolithic golem. She flew off into the distance and disappeared into the bushes. I don't think she'll be able to stand up for a while.

Tristana was then grabbed by the collar and fell to the ground with a "boom". Draven lifted her to his sight, his scratches and blood stained face smiling.

"I'll see. The wolf spirit is on top, what are you? ”

"Put me down, you big idiot!" Tristana yelled.

She punched and kicked him indiscriminately, but even her courage couldn't overcome the advantage of his limb length. Draven tilted his head to the side, clearly curious about what he had gotten his hands on.

"Hey, why don't you pick a big guy to bully?!" Lulu roared, aiming her staff at Draven. A swirl of fireworks swirled up and down the staff, but Draven didn't seem to care.

"Worst of all, shorty," he said, "how did you hurt Draven?" ”

The fireworks burst out of Lulu's staff like a hurricane of bright light.

Then miss.

Draven laughed and began to spin his axe.

A large shadow covered him, and he turned around.

Only then did he realize that Lulu was not missing.

The rabbit with the severed ear hung over Dravin's head, at least twice as tall as he was. It was slowly nibbling on a carrot—a carrot as long as Draven's arm. The giant rabbit stretched out two stubby fingers, pointed to his eyes, and then pointed at Draven with a serious expression. Delevingne let go of Tristana.

Draven is a warrior who has seen monsters a lot, but even he can't accept the scene in front of him. He turned and ran towards the bushes, the only moment he slowed down was to grab another axe from the ground. The remaining Noxians had fled, or had quietly taken refuge in the bushes after seeing the giant rabbit. I have a feeling that they will find another way, to return to their master's army.

Tristana turned to look at the rabbit with the severed ear.

"Thank you," she said. But the rabbit didn't respond. Like I said, few words.

It turned around and jumped back to its nest with a loud thud, and by the time it reached the hole, it was almost back to its original size. It squeezed into the hole, twisted its tail one last and kicked out a pinch of dirt.

Tristana slung "Boom" over her shoulder. "Did you find Duta?"

Lulu strikes a triumphant pose. "My naughty tack. You shouldn't just run away! ”

Tristana shook her head and walked back to the tree they had fallen out of. Lulu was bouncing behind her, Pixar buzzing over Lulu's head, and a pair of wasps were riding under her crotch, making a light hum.

Lulu catches up with Tristana and waves her mump at the tree, as if following a particular movement, or maybe just she is making a wish. Anyway, it worked, and the leafy doorframe appeared in the trunk of the silverbark tree again. The sunrise over the yodel land is sprinkled in this moonlit woodland of mine. I could feel its ancient magic, and I sent my own magical pulses into the air, wishing my two friends a fun journey.

Lulu stopped and looked back.

"Thank you," she said, and I could feel the boundless joy in her heart.

My woodland has become more beautiful because of it.

"Come on, it's time for us to go." Tristana said.

"Why are you in such a hurry?"

"We're going to leave before the Noxians come back."

"I don't think they're coming back." Lulu said with a bright smile.

The light from the portal stretched outward, enveloping them in a glittering, rippling spiral. Their figures became blurred, their voices fainted, and they faded away. But I heard Tristana's last words, and a cold wind blew through the clearing with a shiver of unease.

"They're Noxians," she said, "and they're always coming back." ”
