'Asking Wayne Rooney to hand over the captain's armband is a huge disrespect to him over the years. I understand that Dong is the most suitable person, but we must not forget the contribution that Rooney has made to the team, and it has been Rooney who has been struggling to support Manchester United in the days of Dong's departure. ”

'I think the captain's armband should still be on Rooney's arm.

Objecting was Manchester United's legendary Academy coach Eric Harrison, the most important old man next to Ferguson, whose words carried a lot of weight and he spoke without regard to the feelings of others, even Ferguson.

"Alex, you can't be wrong again."

"We're guilty of Wayne ourselves."

"The captain's armband is everything he deserves, unless you give up on him."

Ferguson's lips tightened, but he wasn't angry, and of course he understood what Eric Harrison meant......

Over the years, Manchester United has indeed been supported by Rooney, and he has worked hard.

It's not the stats or the trophies that matter, it's the dedication and sacrifice Rooney has made for Manchester United. Here we have to mention Dong Fangzhuo and Ronaldo, who were also born in 1985. Because of Ferguson's "eccentricity", they eventually embarked on a different path of development. The lord focused on cultivating Dong Fangzhuo and Ronaldo to develop their goalscorer potential, but ignored the fact that Rooney was a natural goalscorer.

Scholes once admitted: "When Ronaldo and Dong were in the team, Rooney was sacrificed and had to go to the left or right. ”

After Dong Fangzhuo left Manchester United, Rooney once returned to the forward line and brushed up beautiful statistics, but Ferguson never gave him the opportunity to take the lead, Beba, Welbeck and Little Pea can all get a piece of the pie, and after the arrival of Van Persie, he became a supporting role in the "Vanney combination". So much so that Wayne Rooney is used to playing a supporting role, and even said that playing in the back is an option at the end of his career.

It was not easy to become the captain of Manchester United, and now that Dong Fangzhuo is back, Ferguson now wants to hand over the captain's armband to Dong Fangzhuo, which is why there is this quarrel.

"Alex, you can't do that."

Eric Harrison was excited, "He's the captain of Manchester United. ”

Alas, Ferguson let out a long sigh before he raised his hand and patted Harrison on the shoulder.

"Old man,"

"I was wrong."

'You're right, Wayne Rooney, now our captain, as long as he's at Manchester United, he's the captain of Manchester United.'

"Perhaps, Dong doesn't need to be the captain again, he is the spiritual leader, the soul of this team, this and Rooney is the captain, there is no conflict, it's that I think too much."

"Good, you're not old and faint." Harrison finally turned his anger into a smile, "These two old boys, they are the most important players at Manchester United, just like Scholes and Ryan Giggs, they don't distinguish each other. ”

"Yes, it would be great if Cristiano could come back one day."

“……”

In this way, a quarrel that could have caused a rift in the Manchester United dressing room disappeared because of the affectionate side.

Not only that, but Ferguson has also started to make changes in the lineup.

In his long career, he has rarely played in the 4312 formation since Argentinian Veron, but this time, he decided to get back into play, simply because he has Dong Fangzhuo in his hands.

In front of Dong Fangzhuo, he released Rooney and Van Persie, and Rooney was finally able to play his favorite striker position with peace of mind, and he didn't have to worry about everything behind him.

Because behind Dong Fangzhuo, there are three backs to protect Dong Fangzhuo steadily. Is this perhaps United's most satisfying squad at the moment?

The difference is that it may have to come at the expense of some young players, such as Januzaj.

However, Ferguson did not give them a chance, Ferguson switched between the two sets of lineups, when Dong Fangzhuo was not on the field, he played 433, when Dong Fangzhuo was on the field, he played 4312, when he played 433, focusing on the role of the two wingers, when playing 4312, that was Dong Fangzhuo.

The effects are not bad, but there is no doubt that only Dong Fangzhuo is the most perfect when he is on the court.

In the weekend league, Ferguson still did not put Dong Fangzhuo in the starting lineup, which inevitably disappointed Manchester United fans a little.

Away to West Ham United, Van Persie took a 1-0 lead for Manchester United early, but never scored again, and then at the beginning of the second half, Ferguson replaced Januzaj with Dong Fangzhuo, adjusting the formation to 4312, Dong Fangzhuo played in the front, Rooney and Van Persie partnered.

"Dong in Manchester United's career, a total of 45 assists for Rooney, and Rooney for Dong 78 assists, now the positions of both have changed, Rooney from winger to forward, and then to striker, and Dong from winger to center forward and then to forward, the two seem to have taken the opposite path, the difference is that the two are still on the pitch partner. Today will be important for both Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney, as it will be Ferguson's new trident, three veteran musketeers. If Van Persie is replaced by Cristiano Ronaldo, it will be even more perfect. ”

Lineker lamented, "But in this world, there is never a perfect thing, and there are flaws that are ......."

However, Dong Fangzhuo and Rooney quickly used perfect cooperation to sweep away this faint sadness.

In the 65th minute, Dong Fangzhuo sent a through ball in the middle, and Rooney burst into the right side of the penalty area to complete the shot, rewriting the score to 2:0.

Lineker shouted, "This is the 46th assist that Dong gave to Rooney, and the cooperation between the two is still not strange." ”

Five minutes later, Dong Fangzhuo could have provided the assist for Van Persie, and his cross from the middle also tore through the West Ham defence, but Van Persie's reaction was noticeably slower by half a beat and missed a good chance to shoot.

This stems from the fact that they have not yet formed a good tacit understanding.

However, this regret was compensated in the 83rd minute, Van Persie pulled the side of the inverted triangle back pass to Dong Fangzhuo, Dong Fangzhuo faked a real pass, dribbled the ball sideways to the middle, and then suddenly gave Rooney the ball, Rooney met the ball and shot into the far corner of the goal, scoring twice, rewriting the score to 3:0.

"Wayne Rooney, he's not enjoyed such a good game in a long time, he's not the same dad and mom Rooney anymore, he can enjoy the game to the fullest."

Just when people thought that the game was going to end with a score of 3:0, Dong Fangzhuo took the ball outside the penalty area at the last moment, and suddenly hit a curling ball to shoot, and the West Ham United goalkeeper could only look at the ball and sigh, and the score was finally fixed at 4:0.

The 4-0 scoreline brought a smile to Ferguson's face, and after half a season, only the last two league games made him feel happy and without a trace of pressure.

"Alex, how do you rate this game?"

"It's a little bit close,"

'We still need some run-in before the Champions League resumes.

'We need Van Persie to have chemistry as soon as possible, we're in a race against time and we can outperform.'

Although Manchester United are still only in third place in the league table, Chelsea and Manchester City are feeling the pressure in front of them, and their two teams have fought hard to get three points in the league, but Manchester United feel like they can't destroy it?

And soon, the three of them will meet each other, and then it will be the real decisive battle, and if you want to not be passive in the decisive battle, you have to grit your teeth and win all the previous games, and whoever falls behind in advance may have to withdraw from the competition for the league championship.

Arsenal, who are in fourth place, seem to be on the verge of being forgotten, and Arsene Wenger's side may have to compete with Liverpool for fourth place......
