271. Snape's movements
After a few days, the bleak Diagon Alley has become shoulder to shoulder again. Lockhart's fame doesn't plummet with a single change, and wizards still have great expectations for his work.
Quirrell was busy selling serialized newspapers for five copper nats in the shop, and while not every wizard would bring another comic, the 50% discount was quite attractive in the wizarding world. At least half of the wizards who buy serialized newspapers take another comic along the way.
The serialized newspaper was too short for wizards who were accustomed to reading words, except for the wizards who brought it home to read slowly, some of the anxious wizards were already sitting in the Florin cold drink shop after they bought it, and some walked into the lounge of the Daily Prophet newspaper or sat down on the benches in McGoth's shop.
It didn't take long for the serialization of about 30,000 words to be read by those wizards, and they couldn't get enough of it, and after scolding Lockhart a few times, they saw the comics they bought together, and they almost didn't hesitate, and they put them on it and opened it directly.
Quirrell saw this scene in his hurry, and a smile appeared on his lips, he didn't believe that after reading the manga separately and after that, they would still resist the comics for no reason.
As for the cards proposed by McGoss, they were not very difficult to make, or very low, but because of the quantity, he suggested that they should be made by the same manufacturer who made the chocolate frog pictures, so that they could save money and not waste time on them.
……
During dinner, Hermione eliminated the food in front of her as quickly as she could, then hurried out of the hall after a casual hello. Looking at Hermione's hurried back, Ron and Harry couldn't understand why she was so busy.
Faced with questions from the two of them, Magos shrugged and said he didn't know, then picked up a few books he had borrowed and was about to return them, only to meet Snape as soon as he walked out of the hall. Ever since the portrait of Erha's dog head made a fuss, he has been avoiding him lately, fearing that he will be pulled to draw blood again.
Unfortunately, he was afraid of something, and McGoth lowered his head and pretended not to see that he was about to go directly to the library, but was stopped by Snape and told him to go to his office later.
Dejectedly, he handed the book back to Mrs. Pince, and walked to the entrance of the basement, where he was hesitant to be obedient. Knowing that the past would be unlucky, he wondered if he had any reason to release the Snape pigeons.
After thinking about it for a while, he realized that there really was, and since Hagrid hadn't told him the result yet, he could take the initiative to find Hagrid.
The corners of Melgoth's mouth, who had been mindful of the release of Snape's pigeons, rose slightly, and when Snape asked why he hadn't gone, Hagrid would have spoken for him.
As soon as his mood changed for the better, he turned around and prepared to go to Hagrid's place to take refuge. However, before he could take the first step, a voice that made his scalp tingle sounded from behind him.
"Where are you going?"
McGoth froze, slowly turning back to see Snape standing at the basement entrance at some point, staring at him with a non-smiling smile.
"Professor Snape." McGoth said dryly.
"I suddenly remembered that Professor Hagrid still has something to do, and I want to go over and have a look first, otherwise it will be difficult to pass when it gets dark."
Snape said in a mocking tone.
"I see, I thought you were scared and ready to ignore my words."
When McGoth heard this, how could this be, although everyone knew it, but whether to admit it or not had to insist.
"I don't understand what you're talking about, why should I be afraid." McGoth said with a dry laugh.
"Oh? That seems to be a misunderstanding. ”
"That's for sure." McGoth hurried back in the affirmative.
Snape's expression flattened,
"In that case, I happen to have something to do with Hagrid, let's go together." Without waiting for McGoth to refuse, he strode forward.
Sighing, Magos reluctantly followed him out of the castle gates.
On the way, McGoth thought that Snape would play a surprise attack like last time, but Snape didn't say a word until he reached Hagrid's hut, let alone make a move, which made McGoth, who had always been prepared, a little uncomfortable.
Snape stood in front of the door of Hagrid's hut and stopped and looked at McGoth quietly without knocking, so that he had to knock on the door of the hut under his gaze.
Hagrid opened the door and saw McGoth first, first greeted him happily, and then saw Snape standing next to him under his gestured eyes.
"Professor Snape." Hagrid had a surprised look on his face.
"What's the matter?" Speaking of this, he suddenly remembered that they were still blocked by him, and hurriedly went into the house and invited them in.
Snape asked Hagrid for some herbs from the depths of the Forbidden Forest, as well as some shards of strange magical creatures, and left without looking at Magos.
McGoth was relieved to see Snape leave, and asked him about the cards.
"Dumbledore said he should think about this matter, and recently due to the Dementors, he has been trying to resume the PUBG course, so this matter should be delayed."
"I've written to tell Newt what you've said, and he's interested, and says he'll come to Hogwarts in the near future to talk about it."
"Mr. Scamander coming to Hogwarts?" McGoth didn't expect an unexpected surprise.
Hagrid smiled and nodded, and told him that he and Newt. Scamander was a good friend during his school days.
'Viadandi would have been glad to see Mr. Scamander. ’
Snape was still watching his movements, so he spoke to Hagrid for a while before taking his leave.
In the spirit of the idea that it is a blessing and not a curse, and that it is a disaster that cannot be avoided, he is ready to let go of the Snape pigeons, and it is a big deal to be pumped again.
It's just a good idea, but after he left Hagrid's hut some distance, he looked at the unfamiliar environment in front of him in a daze, and Hogwarts that he should have seen when he looked up was gone.
Realizing that he might be on the road, Magos subconsciously took out his wand and slowly stepped back, preparing to return to Hagna.
"Professor Snape?" Magos shouted tentatively into the empty front of him. He thought it was at least seven or eight layers of possibility, Snape had made it up.
Unexpectedly, there was no sound coming, and he didn't dare to let his guard down, first using his armor to protect himself, and then regardless of whether it was Snape's arrangement, he quickly used his wand to send out a signal spell.
He suddenly felt that something was wrong, whether it was Snape's arrangement or an enemy, he shouldn't be allowed to use the signal spell.
