65, Shadow
Mi Ye was woken up by us.
"Xiaoye, did you hear that?" I asked.
"Brother, what do you hear?" Mi Ye asked puzzled.
"Something is singing in the burial chamber, don't you hear?" I asked, puzzled.
"No, I didn't hear anything." Mi Ye said with a puzzled expression.
No wonder she slept so soundly, and the singing in the tomb continued. I have some doubts that it is the holy woman of the ghost clan, but she has turned into white bones in front of us, or is there really a ghost in this world, and now the ghost is singing.
Miye's eyes swept around the tomb, as if looking for something.
"Saya, what are you looking at?" I asked.
"Brother, there seems to be someone else in this burial chamber." Mi Ye said very seriously.
I looked around the tomb and didn't see anyone, but we heard voices that suggested that what Mi Ye said might be true.
"Did you see it, Saya?" I asked.
"No, but I can feel it. Brother, what did you hear? Mi Ye asked.
"A very weird, ethereal voice singing a song that we don't understand." I said.
"Well, but why do you all hear it and I can't?" Mi Ye asked puzzled.
"Then we didn't feel what you felt, did we?" Brother Neng said.
At that moment, all the lights in the burial chamber went out. The burial chamber was plunged into darkness. My hand was gripping the knife tightly. Hurry up and turn on my spare lights, but it seems that all the lights are broken and won't come on at all.
"Xiao Ye, Brother Neng." I shouted anxiously.
But Brother Neng, who was still by my side just now, and Mi Ye seemed to have disappeared out of thin air. There was no response. But there were echoes in the empty burial chamber.
"Xiao Ye, Brother Neng." I shouted again, still no response.
I panicked. It's too weird that these two big living people disappeared in such a short time after the lights went out. I suddenly remembered Jian Hanyi, could it be her ghost, she did it last time.
"Jian Hanyi, are you here?" I shouted.
But there was no movement in the chamber except for my echo.
I became more and more restless in the darkness, and I held the dagger tightly, uneasily alert to the movements around me.
Infinite darkness with no response.
I sat on the ground a little detached, afraid of the darkness and hoping to find Brother Neng and Mi Ye quickly.
I don't know how long it took, but I couldn't see anything in the darkness anyway, but I felt like it had been a long time. My body and mind slowly began to crumble. I was a little desperate, but I still held the short knife in my hand tightly.
Suddenly, I felt a breeze blowing around me.
"Who is it?" I yelled.
But there was still no response.
"I feel you, don't hide!" I yelled again.
"Hee-hee-hee~" A woman's laughter rang out in the tomb.
"Sure enough, there are people." I said with excitement and anger in my heart. Is this person staying here all this time, why is he playing me so much.
"What are you laughing at?" I said.
The man didn't speak, but just sang a song full of grievances.
"Huh~ Isn't the sound from the tomb before the darkness?" I said to myself.
"Who the hell are you? Speak quickly. I pretended to be calm.
The man remained silent, singing her ballad to herself. As I listened to the ballad, my heart grew angrier, and I brandished my dagger and ran towards the sound, but the voice appeared somewhere else every time I approached him. The ballad was sung all the time, without any pause.
"Ah~" I roared out.
Endless darkness, mournful ballads, I felt like I was about to be tortured to death. I can't get into what this person wants to do, I just want to get rid of it. Darkness really eats away at people's hearts.
I sat weakly on the ground. Let the darkness envelop me, let the man sing that mournful song get closer and closer to me. Maybe death is also a relief.
I slowly closed my eyes, not wanting to look for them again. The darkness and the song seemed to have swallowed my life, and I had lost the motivation to live, and I just wanted to get out of this dark place as soon as possible.
I don't know how long it took, but I felt a little thirsty.
"A dead man is still thirsty?" I wondered.
"No, I'm not dead." I opened my eyes, but it was still dark.
"It's still so dark, what the hell is it?" I said.
"Hee-hee-hee~" The laughter began again.
I quickly covered my ears for fear of hearing the plaintive ballad again.
But the chamber fell silent, and there was no sound. I slowly let go of my ears, and I was actually a little happy.
"Are you still there?" I asked into the darkness.
Just as I was finishing this question, I felt someone walk towards me in the dark. He stopped in front of me, and I quickly stood up, the short knife in my hand across my chest.
The man seemed to be able to see what I was doing. Slowly left.
The burial chamber was plunged into darkness and silence again.
I regretted my actions a little, but I didn't know how to say it.
Suddenly, my other hand seemed to be being held. The man took my hand, and my body felt as if it was imprisoned, and I couldn't move at all. But I could feel the hand of the person holding me unusually cold, as if I was holding a block of ice in my hand.
I heard what seemed to be being said from the man's mouth, but I couldn't understand a word.
He took my hand and read it for a long time, and my heart slowly calmed down. I was no longer irritable because I couldn't see my surroundings, my eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness, and then I could actually feel what was around me.
"What's going on?" I asked inwardly.
I found myself in a place that was exactly the same as the burial chamber we were in, but there were no Mi Ye and Brother Neng, and there was no coffin. Just a stone bed not far from me.
"What is this place?" I said to myself.
My voice alarmed the person holding my hand. He quickly let go of my hand, and it dissipated into a puff of smoke. I didn't see him until the end.
"Who are you? Why am I here? I muttered into the palm of my hand.
Still without any response, I reluctantly shouted again: "Who are you?" Why brought me here? ”
Just then, a gust of wind blew. I thought to myself that this unknown existence must be about to appear, and stood there without any resistance.
As a result, the wind blew and I actually fell asleep.
