(6) Fever
Fever is one of the most common syndromes, and an oral temperature of more than 37.2°C measured during bed rest should be considered feverish. There are many causes of fever, such as bacteria, viruses, rickettsia, mycoplasma, spirochetes, parasitic infections, mechanical injuries and some acute metabolic disorders. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that fever can occur when the six evils of external sensation and the seven emotions of internal injury occur.
Men and women of all ages can have a fever. It is manifested as redness of the skin, dry lips and red face, and malignant heat without covering; Or pale skin, chills, sweating, nasal congestion, etc. Some patients may have headaches, back pain, chest pain, muscle pain around the body, or joint pain.

(1) The patient is in the supine position, the surgeon is sitting or standing, and rubs the Yintang acupoint with the thumbs of both hands for 3~5 minutes; Rub the temples for another 3 minutes, see Figure (1).
(2) Immediately following the upper method, rub the Yingxiang points on both sides of the nose for 1~3 minutes, see this figure (2).
(3) The patient takes the prone or sitting position, and then rubs his wind pool and large vertebral points for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (3).
(4) Put the index, middle and ring fingers of the right hand together, and wipe the spine from top to bottom with a little force for 1~3 minutes, see this figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Fever can be caused by multisystem lesions, and the diagnosis should be confirmed first.
(2) For patients with fever, the above treatments can be used first, then gradually.
(3) At the same time of self-treatment, it can be combined with physical cooling.
(4) For patients with general fever, the body temperature can gradually drop after self-treatment. If there is no significant improvement or even a tendency to worsen, other measures and active symptomatic treatment should be used.
