Chapter Forty-Three: Collecting the Disciple Demon Mo Daoist
The tiger skin fat cat is not only seasick, but also seasick.
The little carpenter had been busy all afternoon, and when he had taken a little rest in the evening, and when he came back to look for the fat man, he found him lying in front of the boat, vomiting up and down, and wilting like an old pickle.
If it weren't for the fact that this guy's tail moved from time to time, the little carpenter would have thought that it had died and ascended to heaven.
Although the little carpenter didn't like this fat guy very much, after all, it was Qu Menghu's confession, so he went over to take a look, rubbed it, and poured water for it to drink, but the guy didn't move at all except for rolling his eyes.
Isn't it heat stroke?
The little carpenter was a little flustered, and took the meat of the fat orange cat's neck, and dipped it into the river to cool it down.
He didn't know much about this, and thought that if he soaked in water, the cat would come back to life.
Actually, if it's really heat stroke, something will happen like this.
But I didn't expect the little carpenter to really hit by mistake, and when he immersed the fat guy in the water, the obsessive orange cat blew up, used his hands and feet together, and waved his limbs, as if he was about to drown.
And then, it also came to the spirit, and suddenly jumped into the boat.
The little carpenter was very happy, and felt that the fat guy had returned to his soul, but the tiger-skinned fat cat grinned at the little carpenter, "Meow, meow", and barked all the time.
Obviously, it was annoyed, looking at its golden eyes, there was anger flowing in it.
Seeing that the fat man's paws were buckled on the ship's wood and were about to pounce, the little carpenter hurriedly picked up the brass flute.
Fat cat tiger skin: "Meow ......"
It's still a cat meow, but this time, it's a lot more flattering.
Obviously, it didn't want to experience that terrible flute again, after all, two long and one short, it was really terrible.
The little carpenter was relieved to see that it was well behaved, and that there was dinner on the ship, and he went to ask for some sweet potato porridge, and a small lump of coarse rice, and laid it before the little beast.
Love to eat or not.
The boatman next to him saw that the fat guy was cute, and brought him two small dried fish.
After serving this little ancestor, the bow of the boat over there called the little carpenter to eat.
He came to the bow of the boat, where a small table was set up, on which were placed four plates of side dishes and a soup, the side dishes were a plate of scrambled eggs, a plate of preserved pork liver, a plate of salty pickles, a plate of boiled edamame, the soup was fish soup, the fish was freshly beaten, a little tofu was added to it, and there were a few coriander floating on it, and the rice was brown rice and sweet potato porridge, and wine, which was very hearty, and I had an appetite at first sight.
On the table, in addition to the ship's boss Mao Pingli, there were also two mountain goods merchants who accompanied the ship (many of the goods in these two ships were theirs), plus a small carpenter.
As for the other boatmen, they ate at the stern of the boat and did not serve at the table.
The little carpenter came to have Luo Fugui's care, and secondly, this afternoon's tinkering was also quite popular with the bow of the boat, so he was very enthusiastic.
When the little carpenter Gan Mo followed his master in the past, he was naturally treated at the stern of the ship, and he was not allowed to sit at the table.
Now that Lu Da has passed away, he has been on his own, but he is regarded as a character, and he is somewhat unaccustomed to it, but he also knows that he has to mature slowly, in Qu Menghu's words, that is, "like a person", so even if he is not adaptable, he has to be patient and learn.
Fortunately, the head of the boat knew that the little carpenter was introverted, so after a simple greeting, it was more to chat with the two mountain merchants.
These two mountain goods merchants can be regarded as going south and north, seeing a lot, chatting about where the specialties are good, and talking about the folk customs and legends in the southwest, unconsciously, time has passed.
The little carpenter was at the table, and he didn't drink the wine, but he ate a lot of food, and he was a young man, and when he was growing up, others would not say anything.
And he listened to people chatting next to him, and he also had a lot of knowledge.
For the next two days, the little carpenter was helping to tinker with it, and the bow of the boat was quite pleased with him, and as for the fat cat and tiger skin, it tried to slip away several times while the boat was docked, and on one occasion, even took advantage of the little carpenter's inattention, and ran to the river beach, ready to escape.
However, it went into the woods, and not long after, it came back in a gray state.
Qu Menghu is relieved to let it stay with the little carpenter, how can it not have a back hand, in addition to the copper piccolo in the little carpenter's hand, the collar on the neck of the little beast is also exquisite, so that it can not be separated from how far.
This time, the obsessive orange cat finally resigned himself to his fate, and when he returned to the ship, he found a place to lie on his stomach, and almost never moved his nest again.
When the ship was all repaired, the little carpenter was finally free.
The time on the boat was actually quite boring, in addition to repairing the first two days, he also listened to the bow of the boat explain some rules of sailing, the geography of mountains and rivers, etc., and then found a place to sit down, and began to study the two books that came out of the master's arms.
It is said that there are two books, but in fact they are four volumes, and when they are combined, they are called "Luban Quanjing".
This Luban Sutra is divided into the upper and lower parts, the middle (the precedent and the post-teaching) and the return of ten thousand laws, the upper volume is the means of cursing, suppressing and spelling people, which is "disgusting", and the second volume is cracked, recording the good law and blessing to deal with, which is "victory".
The little carpenter has learned the art of breaking the next book, and the others have not seen it.
Now that he has all the scriptures in hand, he will study them himself.
In fact, as soon as he got on the boat, he couldn't help it, but Master Lu Da told him that he couldn't be impatient in everything, and he had to come step by step.
That's why he will help the platoon teacher and lay a good emotional foundation.
The upper part of the Luban Sutra is tired of art, the little carpenter is not very interested, a brief browsing, he skipped it, and then he looked at the lower part, the content of this, most of the masters have taught by words and deeds, but there are also some that Lu Da did not say, he studied carefully, and dealt with his memory one by one, I feel very interesting.
The little carpenter is literate, which is what Master Lu Da has been carefully teaching over the years, so it is not difficult to read this.
Because he had studied, he saw the lower part very quickly, and then he looked at the middle part.
This middle is also known as "pre-transmission and post-teaching", what is it talking about? Actually, what is said in the middle of the Luban Sutra is about the origin of the Luban Sect, as well as some doctrines and other things, which are attached to the public loss class of the Warring States Period, and also talks about several highly established Fang Shidao people in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and even the Lan Cai and ...... in the Eight Immortals
In short, it's all kinds of legends.
These things are convenient for preaching and preaching, and for recruiting disciples, many of them are fictional and unpractical, if Zhang Qiming takes it, he will naturally be happy, but for the little carpenter, the effect is average.
However, it also talks about some allusions and legends, as well as some details of Xianxiang and Dongfu, which is quite interesting.
Then the little carpenter turned his attention to the single book.
"Ten Thousand Laws Return to the Roots".
If it is said that the previous ones are all sideways, then this book is the essence of Lubanjiao.
Because it's about the method of cultivation.
What is spiritual practice?
Confucianism refines the mind and cultivates nature, Taoism sits and forgets and merges with the Tao, Buddhism precepts and remembers the Buddha, other religions communicate with the gods with prayer and thought, witchcraft shamans, all things have spirits, and as for the evil, it is also devouring the moonlight......
But no matter what doctrine or school, the Tao is mentioned.
The Tao is the greatest mystery facing all living beings, including human beings. It is only when man consciously becomes one with the Word and realizes that he is one with God that the mystery is revealed or completed. As for God, He is the unity of the Creator and the Creator, encompassing and transcending both in His infinite existence.
In short, it is a means to elevate people to the extraordinary.
Or the road.
Seeing this, the little carpenter seemed to have stepped into a new world.
He knew that whether it was Luo Fugui or Qu Menghu, these two should have stepped into the ranks of cultivators, which is why they were so extraordinary, and he might be able to embark on the same path if he got this "Ten Thousand Laws Return to the Sect".
After reading through, he studied it again and again until he remembered it all in his heart, and then he sat cross-legged according to the above description, and then felt the changes in heaven and earth, as well as the "Qi" around him.
That's right, it's called "Qi", as the book says.
While the little carpenter was reading, the lazy tiger-skinned fat cat also came over and squatted beside him, looking very interested.
The little carpenter is not wary of this guy either, after all, he is a small brute, although he is clever, but he is not a human after all.
And when he settled down, the obsessive orange cat actually did the same.
The little carpenter felt it for two days, and on the third day, he suddenly felt a heat on the top of his head, but it was in the tomb before, where he was touched by the stone statue, there was a stream of heat gushing out, and then flowing all over his body.
He was ecstatic, and used the method in "Ten Thousand Laws to Return to the Sect" to try to promote this hot flow, and found that it was indeed feasible.
Walking down this circle, his whole body was warm and he felt comfortable.
However, he is a beginner in the end, and his strength is limited, even if he enters the door, but in one day, he can only barely push three laps with all his might.
Walking further up, I felt dizzy and tired.
He knew that this was called Zhou Tian, a beginner, without anyone to guide him, he traveled for two or three Zhou Tian, and his roots were already very good.
The little carpenter was quite happy, and in a good mood, and he couldn't help but be pleased with the fat orange cat.
The boat traveled for a few more days, entered the territory of Guizhou, one day the wind and the sun was beautiful, the ship stopped at a dock to replenish supplies, the little carpenter did not get off the boat, but teased the cat, and then saw the head of the boat led a tall Taoist priest over.
The Taoist priest was about forty years old, with dark skin, long hands and feet, wearing straw sandals, and his clothes were a little shabby, but they were very neat.
And on his back, he also carried a sword.
The sword looked like it was real, not the usual peachwood sword.
The Taoist priest claimed that his surname was Mo, and the head of the Mao boat called him Mo Daochang, and this time he came by boat to prepare to go to Xudu.
Mo Daochang was very friendly, after getting on the boat, he greeted everyone, others felt strange, and talked to him, he also replied, but he was not eager, but he was very interested in the little carpenter, and loved to talk to him.
The little carpenter didn't dare to tell too much of the truth, just coped with it and spoke casually.
After chatting for a long time, Daoist Mo suddenly said to the little carpenter: "Young man, I see that you have a good life and excellent bones, why don't you worship me as a teacher?" ”
