Chapter 9: Anger
Without the slightest hesitation, Gail aimed the silver sword in his hand at Erin's throat and stabbed it with a sword.
The incantation in her mouth moved, and the silver sword was coated with a faint blue glow of magic.
Erin's hands were pinned down by Iyeta and Ivy left and right, and although the situation between the two was not good, at least Erin did not have spare hands to deal with Gael's attack.
The blue light stabbed Erin like a bolt of lightning.
It's over.
Robin thought to himself.
But, in his eyes, Eileen's body stretched backwards with incredible flexibility, and her upper body pressed down to avoid Gail's sword, while her right leg kicked upward, and her toe hit her chin hard.
Gail let out a snort of pain, his upper body lifted backwards, and his entire body crossed a parabola in the air and fell heavily to the ground.
"Bang!"
Gail's mouth smelled of blood, and even his whole brain was a little confused, completely unaware of what had just happened.
With a single blow, Eileen rose to her feet, her short knife spinning quickly in her hand, stepping over Ivy's longsword and twisting her right hand.
At the same time, her hind legs kicked back heavily into Iyeta's chest.
The two of them let out a snort at the same time, first with Ivy being scratched on her right hand, and then with Iyeta being kicked and staggered backwards.
As Ivy struggled to stabilize her body so that the sword could escape, Erin's right leg swung back and her knee slammed into her lower abdomen.
"Uh-huh......"
In just an instant, two people fell to their knees in agony.
But Eileen's attack wasn't over yet, she crouched down, flipped the short knife in her hand down, and quickly stabbed Ivy in the chest.
Seeing that he was about to die with one blow-
Ignoring the pain in her lower back, Ivy quickly rolled backwards on the ground, dodging Eileen's blade.
"Dang!"
The sharp tip of the knife slammed into the white stone floor with a soft sound.
Erin used her strength to bounce her body back, and her twin knives turned quickly, reaching her sides, as cold as a queen.
The whole process takes no more than ten seconds from start to finish.
Robin looked at what was happening in disbelief and chuckled inwardly.
It turns out that this double-knife girl named Erin is so strong.
Erin let out a cold snort, turned the twin knives in her hands, and laughed playfully, "Didn't Heloise teach you in the previous training? The sword is not man's only weapon. β
At the same time, her left foot is slightly lifted to the side of her face with extreme flexibility.
A flash of fire flashed in the eyes of the three people at the same time.
Robin smelled the unusual smell of gunpowder in the air.
β¦β¦
Gail shook his head, trying to clear his mind.
From her mouth, a fishy sweet smell welled up.
The blow almost shattered her jaw.
Gale spat a mouthful of blood on the ground, moving his jaw, his eyes always stayed on Erin, I don't know why, after the blow just now, the anger in her chest was not as strong as before.
She finally remembered Eileen's titleβ
Frenzy Blade has extraordinary reflexes and speed.
As long as her speed doesn't slow down, they're not much different from facing three Erin.
"In a few years, you'll be able to reach the Prison of Sin, right?" Ivy got up from the ground, took a deep breath, looked at Erin coldly, and handed the half-sword in her left hand.
His right hand hung down at his side and trembled slightly.
A streak of blood ran down his wrist.
She let out a mocking smile and raised her chin in disbelief, "But, you're still far from Heloise. β
Ivy exerted her strength again, clenched her sword in her left hand, and slashed at her chest.
Erin just smiled, unmoved by her taunts, and her left short knife lightly blocked her attack, "You know, you are the weakest of our class of people who have been chosen as Godwing Guards. β
Her right hand moved slightly, and swept towards the other's wrist like a wind.
At such times, Erin's goal is unusually clear, she does not pursue a one-hit kill, but makes the opponent ineffective.
This is more efficient, less labor-intensive, and more lethal at the same time.
"So what?!" Ivy dodged her blade to the side, and the longsword coldly fought back, "At least I'm loyal enough." β
"No, you've misinterpreted me." Eileen lifted her leg and kicked her in the underbelly.
"Uh-huh......" the latter collapsed.
Robin's heart jumped when he saw the latter fall to the ground in pain.
Immediately after that was Eileen's blade.
As the figure rises and falls, it quickly strikes downward.
"Dang!"
The crisp sound of metal clashing.
Two swords held her blades at the same time.
Thankfully, Ieta and Gale intervened in time to stop Eileen's attack, and her dagger didn't kill Ivy.
"But you're left here," Erin said as she turned back to mingle with the two of them, "only because Heloise pitied you, and she told us countless times that it was because of Ivy's weakness that we had to protect her. β
"Shut up!"
When she saw the fire in Ivy's eyes, a strange smile appeared on the corner of Eileen's mouth.
Robin suddenly realized that the seemingly powerful Erin was not really able to defeat three with one, and she was constantly provoking them and provoking them to make them lose their minds.
In battle, losing your mind is extremely deadly.
"Calm down!" Robin shouted, "You're going to fall into her trap like this." β
Gail was shaken.
Yes, in battle, any confrontation can mean the difference between life and death, let alone facing an enemy as powerful as Eileen.
Gail had already experienced something hot-headed, and if it weren't for the anger rising at the time, she wouldn't have been kicked in the jaw by Eileen.
Robin's words were like a basin of cold water that brought her to her senses.
Gail remembered what Heloise had taught them beforeβ
"In battle, even if your mother is dead, you have to leave her behind, calm is the greatest guarantee for your life."
It was only now that she truly understood her words.
In a moment, both Gael and Iyeta's eyes changed.
It seems to have grown a lot in an instant, from a fierce beast to a calm and changeable hunter.
The two of them surrounded Erin in the middle and started a new round of attack-
The movements are noticeably more cautious, more efficient, and less flawed than before.
Erin's brow furrowed slightly, as if she was unhappy with Robin's actions just now.
"What's your name? Robin? She opened her mouth slightly, her voice cold, "I advise you to keep your mouth shut, if you want to live, let's end this battle quickly, otherwise the assassins outside will kill you, and you will die." β
Robin's whole body was shocked, and he was stunned, and his sharp gaze was like a sharp knife piercing his chest.
