The people of Buddhism pay attention to the fact that the four major aggregates are empty, the six roots are pure, and the five aggregates are empty.

You can transcend the suffering of reincarnation and enjoy the longevity of life.

"Master, is it ignorance?"

"There is no beginning and no ignorance." The cloth bag monk responded.

"It's a pity, it's a pity." Monk Yifeng shook his head and sighed.

"Where is the pity, where is the lust, where is the delusion." The cloth bag monk said with kind eyes.

"It's a pity that I cultivate emptiness."

Emptiness, as soon as these two words came out, the brows of the cloth bag monk did not frown.

The emptiness is the nature, the essence, and the essence of space, and so is your mind! Everywhere, subtle and colorless, like empty like water, unable to see, not born or destroyed, not increasing or decreasing, pervading the void, the foundation of all things, this is the foundation of all sentient beings' enlightenment to become Buddhas, and it is also the foundation of Buddha's divine power and wisdom.

Shek Ge Rinpoche taught that with all the merits of the other body, one can always receive the pure vows, practice generosity diligently, cultivate compassion, and cultivate patience for life, return the good roots to the Great Bodhi, and regain the ability to respect the bodhisattvas.

"Dare to ask, is it a double luck of great compassion?" The cloth bag monk asked.

He said to his abbot with indignation: "Who laid the ground here?" It's too rough, isn't it? A piece of bluestone exposes so much, can it not trip people? I'll find a hammer and a chisel in a moment, and I can't ...... it unless I chisel it."

While dressing his wounds, the abbot said earnestly: "In this world, there are many bumps and stumbles, can you smooth them all?" You should be wise and careful when walking, and try to avoid similar suffering. This abrupt bluestone was deliberately set up and left by our predecessors, the purpose is to make us recognize the difficulties of life, and of course, it also includes a reminder to be careful when walking......"

What this story reveals is nothing more than the meaning of cultivating oneself and exploring difficulties.

However, when the Budai monk said it, it was a little instructive.

It is too arrogant for a cultivator of ignorance to come and teach a monk who cultivates emptiness!

It's no wonder that a different color flashed in Yifeng's eyes.

Monk Yifeng's eyes sank slightly, looking at the cloth bag monk, and countless things around him were sucked into the big cloth bag. But it was under this strong suction force that Monk Yifeng's feet sank into the earth to his knees, and at this time he seemed to have become one with the mountains.

If the mountain doesn't move, he naturally doesn't move.

"It seems that Master, your empty cultivation has not yet reached the depths." Monk Yifeng said gently, but he didn't know if what he was talking about was the skill of the Budai monk or his Buddhism.

"Haha, aren't you the same monk?"

The Budai monk laughed, pointed to the foot of the mountain and said:

"The raging fire that burns in the capital of Jijing, the living become resentful spirits, and the wails of the afflicted, don't you have a share of the credit for this?"

"Amitabha"

Monk Yifeng pronounced a Buddha name, and his eyes slowly closed, as if he was mourning, as if he was stabilizing his state of mind.

"Master, when you cultivate the method of ignorance, shouldn't you think that everything in the world is vain?"

"Ha, don't you, a monk who cultivates great compassion and double luck, also turn a blind eye to all this?"

Because I can't answer it.

Buddhism, while cultivating the karmic results to gain clarity, is also cultivating cause and effect, accumulating virtue and doing good.

The system is too large and too profound. After all, you can only cultivate one side, but you can't get the whole Fa.

Cultivating to the point of a peak monk and a Budai monk does not rely on sitting meditation and chanting sutras every day, but on chance and enlightenment.

However, chance and enlightenment are not easy to say.

If you don't understand it, you will be dull in the end, and the opportunity will not come, and the point will not be hit.

It's too hard, it's too hard.

The only way to do this is to continue to practice, to continue to accumulate, and to attain fruition by chance.

In the course of this process, if you have doubts about the Fa you have cultivated, you will never recover. Yifeng and Budai have been cultivating for many years, and they are not people who will be affected by the Buddha's heart in just a few words.

If this continues, it will only be a stalemate.

"Make a bet."

Monk Yifeng was the first to break the silence and said.

"What's the bet?"

"During the time of a stick of incense, although the master of the cloth bag acts, the poor monk sits in the same place to meditate, during which the poor monk does not move half a step, it is considered a victory. Please don't do that stumbling again. ”

"What if it moves?"

"Naturally, if I lose, the poor monk will leave, and he will not step into the capital of Jijing in this life."

After listening to the gambling contract, the master of the cloth bag groaned slightly, and the time for a stick of incense was thirty minutes, which was an acceptable time for both of them. Besides, if there is no gambling contract, the two of them are only afraid that they will have a big fight, and when the time comes, life and death are unknown, I am afraid that they will not be able to please.

As for the issue of credit, Monk Budai knew that the monk of Yifeng cultivated merit and the method of compassion would not easily make a promise. Once you say it, you won't go back.

After thinking about it one by one in your head

In that case—"Okay, then let's make a bet." ”

The cloth bag monk agreed loudly.

Yifeng's face was unwavering, he sat cross-legged on the spot, folded his hands, closed his eyes slightly, and said:

"Please also ask the master to give advice."

"Good!"

After shouting, the cloth bag monk also officially held the cloth bag in his hand high, the huge cloth bag opened to the maximum in an instant, and the powerful suction power came from the huge pocket, and the air, flowers, trees, and even the houses at the foot of the mountain began to shake slightly, as if there was a deep sea vortex constantly sucking everything around it into it.

The bag was still the same huge bag, and no matter how much it was inhaled, it didn't change at all. It's a tangible pocket, but it's like an intangible thing, and I don't know how many things can fit into it.

However, even if it is a powerful and amazing cloth bag, it can't shake an old monk who is indifferently reciting Buddhist scriptures there.

The Budai monk's originally squinted eyes were now slowly opened. He looked at the monk in the center of the vortex, at this time, he was slowly possessed by a golden mang, and a golden lotus was slowly blooming, avoiding many wind and waves.

Of course, if he had seen a little more clearly, he would have known that under the golden lotus, countless roots were sticking out and digging into the soil, beginning to entangle the entire mountain, and even began to go deep into the ground of this mountain.

Monk Budai couldn't see so much clearly, but he knew that if he continued like this, he would definitely lose!

Thinking about it, he had already struck again.

"The universe is reversed, and the emptiness is not clear!" The cloth bag monk shouted, and at the same time pushed the huge cloth bag with both hands, only to see that the suction around him suddenly disappeared without a trace.

The wind was silent, and there was silence. It's as if everything has stopped.

However, it's more like the calm before the storm.

"Grunt, grunt, grunt."

A creeping sound like a stomach suddenly appeared on the ruined mountain.

"Grunt, grunt, grunt."

The sound is getting clearer and louder, and it is slowly getting louder and louder - "Boom!! ”

Like the sound of a flash flood, a lot of items burst out of your pockets!

Inside, you can see the dirt, trees, and houses that have just been sucked in, and even more of them are scrapped cars, and dirty river water. You can even see a lot of garbage mixed in there.

It was all these waste-like things, piled up together, poured out at the same time, as if the collapse of a snow-capped mountain had been irretrievably rushed down.

How small people seem in front of such a scene.

Although the mountain is foul-smelling and strangely shaped, it is worthy of the title of Rival City to do so.

"Amitabha!"

A Buddha horn was recited, only to see a golden light breaking out of the tattered pile! The pile was only slightly deflected, and the appearance of this golden light seemed to be just to make a hole for himself to breathe, or to swear that he still existed here without moving.

He looked up at the golden light, which was clearly a golden light of merit.

Although this monk did not prevent the slaughter caused by the capital of Jijing, he probably accumulated merit no less than tens of thousands of times in normal times, so he had such a powerful merit golden light.

According to legend, merit is necessary to help oneself who is courageously and diligently practicing the Dharma to break away from the six realms, to reach the realm of the One True Dharma, and even to attain fruition.

That's why Buddhism has this way to earn merit and help practice.

However, the cultivation conditions of this method are too strict, and the meritorious things cannot be thought of doing, but must be accumulated by their words and deeds. Under such harsh conditions, coupled with the degree of merit accumulation, it can be said that one out of ten monks who practice this method is considered to be rare.

However, there is no one in these ten candidates, and every one of them is a person with great merit and great virtue, and his skills are pure and profound.

At this time, in the mind of the Budai monk, the idea that he would lose this bet inevitably came out.

No way!

This bet is not only a battle for the ownership of the capital of Jijing, but also a battle for its own Buddhism!

Can't be defeated here!!

Thinking of this, the Budai monk's whole body spiritual power was transported to the palm of his right hand, and the golden Buddha light was visible to the naked eye, and in an instant, the palm of his right hand was already metallic. It's like the palm of the towering Buddha in the temple.

This is a move from the Inheritance, and it is also one of his strongest moves.

This palm also has a very simple and very figurative name - "Buddha's palm!" ”

With a loud shout from the cloth bag monk, his right palm struck out. A huge Buddha palm appeared out of thin air, and the target was the mountain of piles of things, no, it should be said that it was a monk sitting upright in the mountain!

A huge blast of air exploded with a palm, and the mountain of piles turned into dust and disappeared into the world. Originally, the place where the monk of Yifeng sat was scraped more than 10 feet thin, and the aftermath swept the surrounding land more than 30 battles.

"The method of merit is so powerful?"

"Poor monk, monk at the age of thirty, worship Buddha at the age of forty, and sit in meditation on the cliff behind the temple after the age of fifty." At this point, he paused for a moment before continuing:

"That's 40 years!"

After saying this, Monk Yifeng was speechless.

The Budai monk stared at the monk in front of him with disbelief in his eyes. It is to admire his perseverance, and to accumulate his merits. Accumulating merit is not only about doing good deeds, copying Buddhist scriptures, meditating and fasting, not breaking precepts, but also having the Buddha's words and deeds in your heart is merit, and cultivating is virtue.

Of course, the most important point is that the person in front of him is cheating!

Forty years of zazen, this concentration and skill are naturally extraordinary! And how can he win!

And he can obviously be in the way of magic, and firmly suppress the Yifeng monk in front of him who only knows zazen. But this choice was missed because of too much caution.

For the first time since the Budai monk received this heavenly inheritance, he felt so frustrated - and unwilling!

There are 30 seconds left until the end of the betting time!

A wave of depressing breath almost burst through his throat, causing the Budai monk to shout:

"I'm not convinced! I'm not willing to give in!! ”

Suddenly, the Budai monk's body swelled, and his whole body inflated as if a balloon had been injected with a large amount of gas. In an instant, it turned out to be like a skyscraper.

"Hey~"

At this time, Monk Yifeng let out a long sigh. Looking at the huge cloth bag monk in front of him, he said:

"It's just a dispute, why should the master be like this, condensing the Law Phase Heaven and Earth here, you must know that if you can't reach the land level, condensing the Law Phase Heaven and Earth is a drain on your own life!"

"I can't lose, and I can't afford to lose!!"

A few words sounded, as if the entire capital of Jijing was shaken.

The cloth bag monk knew that he was short of time, so he opened his mouth and bent down to the ground, and directly swallowed a large piece of soil with Monk Yifeng into his mouth!

Monk Yifeng finally moved the place.

However, time also arrives at the same time!
