Chapter 80: Don't Call 911

The so-called stand tall and see far.

If someone lives on the top floor of the tallest residence in New York, they have the privilege of overlooking Manhattan from an airplane perspective.

If this person happens to have a top-of-the-line telescope at hand, he can see a lot of very interesting things.

If this person is you, I hope you can keep the moral bottom line of being a human being.

Fortunately, in this story, the person with this privilege, although she occasionally does strange things, is generally a good person, a person with a fairly normal sense of morality.

Belle soaks in the bathtub, next to a telescope made by Stark Technology, leaning against it, through the huge 9.3-square-meter glass window, she is observing Hell's Kitchen in the distance.

The object of her observation happened to be on the top floor, but that person was outside, and in height, it was completely incomparable to Belle's 95th floor.

It's the middle of winter in New York in February.

In the biting cold wind, Daredevil squatting on the roof of the building, Matt Murdoch, had no idea that he had been targeted.

But he wasn't in any danger, he just gained Belle's respect and drew her sympathy.

However, for Daredevil, it was just an ordinary night.

He listens to the sound of the city every day. The crying of children, the scolding of women, the roaring of men, the wailing of old men. There is no joy, no hope, only endless sadness and despair.

It's Hell's Kitchen, the place where he was born and raised, his lovely hometown.

Matt is known as Daredevil, but he is a devout Catholic himself. Childhood misadventures left him blind forever, but by accident, his other senses were greatly enhanced.

He believed that it was God's will, and that God had made him a valiant warrior stationed in the kitchens of hell.

The first sound that alerted him tonight was a scream two blocks away.

Human trafficking, which seems to have been a regular occurrence lately.

He stood up firmly, shook the cane-like weapon in his hand, the Billy Club (there seems to be no official Chinese translation for this thing), and the hook with the rope shot out of the cane, hooking a flagpole on the roof of the building on the other side.

Daredevil leaps forward, navigating the steel jungle in a similar fashion to Spider-Man, and a minute later, he lands smoothly in front of the desperate girl, facing four vicious gangsters.

By the time he jumped from the roof, he had completely disappeared from Belle's sight.

But Belle wasn't worried at all. To put it mildly, most of the events that happen in Hell's Kitchen are nothing more than murder, arson, rape and robbery carried out by ordinary thugs.

Dealing with these thugs is not much of a challenge for Daredevil.

God closed the windows of Lawyer Ma's heart, but opened countless new doors to his life.

His senses of touch, hearing, smell and taste are all outrageously sensitive. It also has skills such as sonar, thermal perception, etc., which are simply impossible for humans to master.

What's even more amazing is that he can emit electromagnetic energy through his own brain and build a 3D map of his surroundings in his mind through feedback signals. After this ability was developed to the extreme, he could perceive all electromagnetic radiation, from radio signals to gamma rays.

So, in this blind world, there are no blind spots.

In addition to this, Daredevil's strength, speed, agility, and endurance are all at the top level of humans, and he has mastered more than 17 fighting techniques. In the official evaluation, his fighting skills also reached 6, which is on par with top masters such as Captain America, Black Widow, and Punisher.

This kind of ability is actually enough for Daredevil to walk sideways in Hell's Kitchen.

Unless there are special circumstances.

Indeed, he often encounters special circumstances. The main reason is that he is a devout Catholic, a good man, and a lawyer. His strong religious beliefs, single-minded philosophies, and loyalty to the law have kept him in the bad habit of never killing people.

And his opponents, such as the vicious armed gangsters, heavily armed gangsters, and ruthless murderers, all have a fast attitude towards Daredevil.

One side is tied up and the other has no scruples, which in itself is a great unfairness, not to mention that many of his opponents are not inferior to him in strength, or even stronger than him.

After fighting with such an opponent, Lawyer Ma suffered many times from a bruised nose and swollen face, to a broken spine and even a broken spine.

I have to say that Matt Murdoch can live until now, perhaps because of God's favor.

He had been injured too much, he had seen too much evil, and his life as a vigilante really tortured him.

He never considered himself a hero, only a warrior with a curse called "superpowers", and only blood and pain could give him temporary relief.

In this respect, Daredevil and the Punisher are very similar, they both live in pain.

Out of sympathy, understanding, and respect for their personal plight, Belle never bothered the two, and even sometimes secretly helped, hoping that there would be fewer twists and turns in their bleak lives.

Unfortunately, this time, maybe only Daredevil can help her.

Thinking of this, she picked up her phone and sent a message to Peter:

If you're bored, go to Hell's Kitchen and help if you come across a blind person who has fallen injured.

……

When he received the news, Peter was jumping up and down at home, wearing his new Spider-Man suit and playing in tights in front of the mirror.

This new suit is really handsome.

He is in a good mood now, and when he receives the news, although he feels confused, as long as he can go out and do something justifiably, even if he is asked to pick up garbage, he is willing.

"Okay."

He replied quickly, then jumped up and scurried out the window.

The black figure leaps across the steel jungle of Manhattan, moving swiftly, sensitively, lightly, calmly, and with a sense of relief and joy between the expansion and contraction of limbs.

"Teacher Hei, I really didn't expect you to be still there!"

"What's wrong?" Teacher Hei, as always, said in an elegant voice full of magnetism, "Looking forward to my death?" I will die and there will be no throne for you to inherit. ”

Peter said excitedly: "I don't need the throne, as long as Teacher Hei is okay." ”

"You kid still have a little conscience," Mr. Hei said, "but my current state is not 'okay', I can only say that I am 'not dead', and that's all I have to say, at the last moment, I hid in Belle's precious shirt, and I survived." ”

"Isn't it just a little bit more energy from Belle to recover?"

"What do you think I am? Do you really think dragons are lizards with wings that breathe fire? Arms, legs, and tails fall off in two days, can they grow back? If it were really that simple, Uncle would have dominated the universe a long time ago. ”

Kuroku is obviously more exaggerated and boastful when he says this, but he really doesn't have the super regeneration ability of Wolverine and Deadpool.

When Belle was brought out of the underground of the Zhongcheng Circle, the black sky basically existed in the form of a pure energy body, and the material part barely made up a black silk.

After receiving a heavy blow from the Night King, the remaining little matter was destroyed by ninety percent of them, and it would take tens of thousands of years to restore him to his former heyday.

"Forget it, the hero didn't mention the courage of the year, and now it's not interesting to talk about those bad things in the past."

"In my heart, Mr. Hei, you have always been the best!" Peter hastened to praise.

One man and one dragon chatted enthusiastically, and in a few moments, Peter left the Upper East Side and entered the confines of Midtown.

If you were to draw a straight line between Peter's house and Hell's Kitchen, it would fit right into the southeast corner of Central Park and through Midtown.

Belle's new home is in this location.

Peter took a long detour and did not appear within a two-hundred-meter radius of Belle's house.

"Cut, still do this." Belle saw Peter through the binoculars, and at once she saw what he was thinking.

Even if Peter Parker and Belle get close, Spider-Man still shouldn't have too much to do with Belle on the surface.

Whether it's the trio of traversers or Amanda Waller, no matter what they know, as long as they don't get clear evidence of it, Belle's superpower identity won't be made public.

As long as it is not made public, many things will have room for maneuver.

Matt Murdoch's side is exactly the same.

Even if he was seriously injured and fell to the ground, he tried his best to stay awake, for fear that this sudden second stunned man would take off his mask.

"Hey, buddy, are you alright?"

Peter kicked the giant man with an exaggerated axe in a roundabout kick, and Lawyer Ma was wounded by the non-human weapon.

"Oh, your injury is not light, when I clean up these few people, I will help you call 911, you hold on!"

Daredevil wanted to remind him that these people were ridiculously strong, and they were obviously drugged, and they didn't care about injuries and pain at all, just like beasts. But he couldn't speak at all, and after a little try, he kept vomiting blood.

However, he soon discovers that Spider-Man doesn't need his own reminders.

The strength has increased greatly, and the combat power of Spider-Man, with the new suit and the assistance of the black teacher, is far beyond Daredevil's imagination.

In the middle of Peter's battle, a message pops up in front of his eyes: Belle de Tyfuller Peake requests to share video and audio signals.

Peter chose to accept without hesitation, and just as he was about to open his mouth to speak, he saw a new message pop up in front of him: Don't talk to me, everyone over there can hear it.

The video and audio signals collected by the Spider-Man suit were projected in front of Belle: Daredevil who was beaten and bruised, four sturdy, agile, fearless and unscrupulous gangsters whose fighting skills were not lost to Daredevil, and Spider-Man who could take down these four gangsters in five minutes...... Passionate voice over "Hey! Ha! Look at the moves! BOOM! ”

"It's a coincidence," Belle muttered quietly, "I'm just afraid that Peter will be bored, so I'll find him something to do, at most I'm hoping that he will have a chance to talk to Daredevil, but I didn't expect it to be like this?" ”

But Daredevil's life is in danger tonight? Or happened to be bumped into by Peter?

"Is it all a coincidence? Or is God really looking after Daredevil and wants him to continue to live and serve him? ”

Peter tied the four gangsters into a ball of thread with spider silk, and he didn't care about being complacent, so he quickly ran to Daredevil's side, called the scanning function of Spider-Man's suit, and carefully examined his injuries.

The results of the scan were shocking, and if it were someone else, it would be enough to die ten times.

"You're such a tough guy, you don't say a word when you're so badly injured!"

Spider-Man admires Daredevil and sees the latter trying to struggle to sit up, and quickly supports him to prevent him from hurting himself more.

"Don't move, don't worry, I've packed up those people, I'll call an ambulance for you."

Daredevil was already injured and speechless.

Luckily, Belle was watching all of this, and she used the message to say something that Daredevil couldn't say:

Don't call 911, I've contacted S.H.I.E.L.D., they're going to take those four guys, this guy can't go to the hospital, my car will be there right away, take him to Luke Cage's house.
