Chelsea were not so lucky, as they hosted top-placed Manchester United in the league in a crucial league title game. Chelsea are just three points behind Manchester United and will have any hopes of winning the league title if they can win this head-to-head conversation, with Grant fielding their strongest squad to win a hard-fought 2-1 victory over a reserved Manchester United.

Manchester United have a far better goal difference than Chelsea, and even if they lose this game, they will still be the league champions as long as they win their remaining two league games, and they are about to host Barcelona in the Champions League, the first leg of the tie between the two sides is 0-0, and Sir Alex Ferguson clearly takes this game more seriously.
