Chapter Ninety-Eight: Shape and Shadow (II)
Brandi was exempt from the Oblivion Curse, which he knew on the first day of his second year.
Snape's amorous old bat almost put his wand on Brandy's head and chanted an amnesia spell in order to make Brandy forget his sneaky "date" with Malfoy's mother.
Of course, the result was a happy affair, with Snape believing that he had done it seamlessly, and Brandy still not pulling down what he should have remembered in the end...... So much so that for most of the next half a year, Brandi looked at Malfoy with abnormal eyes, especially when Snape praised him for his potion level with a "doting" face.
So, that's why Brandi dared to go toe-to-toe with Mr. Patil's attack - he knew from the beginning that the spell wasn't going to work at all.
But the problem was that just because he knew about his situation, it didn't mean that everyone else knew about it - so a moment later, Hermione hurriedly untied the rope spell from Harry Ron's body, and the three of them swarmed up and surrounded Brandi. The way he looked at him was like treating a mentally handicapped child with a brain in water.
"Uh, why are you staring at me like that, I'm fine, Hermione." Brandi shook his head and tried to get up from the ground, the spell itself didn't feel too much, but when he fell, his head hurt a little.
But no one wanted to believe him at this time, and the three of them had fallen into delusion on their own.
"It's over, he doesn't even remember that he forgot anything!" Harry said with some concern, ignoring Brandy's two big eyes very naturally. "Hermione, isn't there anything to break the Oblivion Charm?"
"Wait a minute, I'm thinking."
Hermione frowned, one of her hands still clutching Brandi's arm, as if without her help, the handicapped Brandi would immediately fall unconscious. "Maybe the magic of memory search can help him get some of his forgotten memories back, but Dumbledore gave him Occlumency - if you want to crack Brandy's mind protection, I don't think anyone else can do it but Dumbledore himself."
"Eh, then, if he doesn't know what we mentioned, it's probably because he lost that memory?" Ron's eyes sparkled, and he looked like he was simply overjoyed. "Hey, man, think about it, you still owe me seven Galleons and haven't paid it back~"
…………
(Please consider how much you are worth before telling a bad joke...... If you count your broken wand, will your possessions add up to seven Galleons? )
“…… I'm sorry. ”
Stung inwardly by Brandi's disdainful gaze, Ron buried his head in the crack in the ground in shame.
Anyway, after a brief questioning and making sure that Brandi still maintained a sense of the relationship and the situation he was in, they temporarily gave up on finding out what the lost memory was, as long as it didn't affect the rest of the plan, they could delay it until they returned to Hogwarts.
After all, the place where everyone is now is not absolutely safe, don't look at the black lights outside, and the only big living person on the face of the Petyr family has been subdued by them, but as far as Hermione sneaks into the third floor in an invisibility cloak, there are at least six or seven adult wizards in ambush in this house - it's just because Brandi and they have found another way, and if they don't enter the door, they have to learn the relationship between the eaves and the wall, and those guys who are hiding in the shadows haven't had a chance to make a move, and the battle is over.
"So what now," Harry said uneasily, listening carefully to the movement in the hallway outside. "We can't stay in this room all the time, and if the people outside notice that Mr. Petier hasn't made a sound for too long, we're doomed!"
"That's not a problem, we could have climbed down from the window, and there was no one outside." Brandi cautiously stepped over Mr. Petyer's body, walked to the window, and peeked down, and saw that the Lolo grass that had come up before was still clinging to the wall. He then bent down and took Harry and Ron's wands out of Mr. Petyer's pocket.
As he fumbled into his pockets, Mr. Petyer's eyes were fixed on him, and his eyes were amused, and Brandy actually saw a look of relief in those angry and disgusted eyes.
"Climb down?" Harry, their faces changed in unison as if they had heard something terrifying. "What are you kidding, you probably don't know what they're raising out there - you think we got it up by something!"
"What's it, isn't that house-elf?" Brandi handed over his wand, and he said curiously.
"Heh, how could we not even be a house-elf - it was a black thing that attacked us, and it looked like a leopard!"
"Their eyes are blue and the size of a tennis ball...... But we didn't see anything at first, as if we had suddenly come out of nowhere. ”
"There are more than a dozen of them! It must be the Madago, Newt was talking about! ”
"Wait a minute," Brandi hastily interrupted, surprised. "A dozen Madagos, who look like black panthers? But why didn't we find anything when we walked all the way just now, hey, you shouldn't have fallen into the confusion spell of the elf Kafu and were scared by a few black cats walking at night~"
"That can't be," Ron felt offended, his face flushing, "that elf was just directing the things to the ground and tying us up with ropes - we weren't going to be pounced on by a few cats!" ”
At the mention of house-elves, Harry remembered a small detail. "By the way, Brandy, when the house-elf sent us here, he asked me to bring you a message, and he said that if all goes well, let you go to the attic to the south to find it?"
All the best? Brandi was stunned for a moment, remembering the elf's bandaged hands from earlier—self-punishment that would only be done if he had disobeyed his master's orders. And when it left twice, it seemed to look at itself strangely. Is it knowing me?
Just then, a new voice came from outside the house. It was accompanied by a few words they didn't understand at all—there was more than one person walking this way, and they were asking Mr. Petier!
Oops, they noticed that the room was too quiet!
Brandi quickly pretended to be tortured, slapping the floor and screaming loudly, gesturing to Harry and the others and pointing behind the door. "Be careful." He whispered to them in the midst of the screams.
Harry and Ron made an OK gesture, and the two crept into the corner behind the door, where Ron's wand couldn't help him cast spells, so he took an arm-thick wooden stick from the stove......
"Hermione, how's your side?"
The footsteps were getting closer, and Brandi looked anxiously at the large bed, where Hermione had been sitting beside Padma since the beginning, trying to wake her up with a spell.
"Still no," Hermione whispered, her forehead covered in fine beads of sweat, obviously choking in a hurry. "Padma doesn't look like she's under the Stun Charm, it's a more off-the-beaten-I can't wake her up!"
"Then hide first." Brandi waved her hand and watched as she put on her invisibility cloak again and disappear into the room.
Almost as soon as Hermione disappeared, the door of the room was directly shattered by the spell in a burst of explosion, and the smoke and dust were everywhere, and the explosion was loud enough to pierce the entire night sky - the wizard outside had no intention of politely opening the door!
Harry, who was in the innermost corner, was hit straight away, the broken door frame being thrown out with the explosion, and it slapped right on his nose, and his tears welled up in pain - but his spell was still out. The wand was raised, pointing at the figure who had been the first to burst into the room through the dust.
"Faint!"
A faint red light struck the man's face from the side, the man had been blessed with some protective charm beforehand, and Harry's spell was very suppressed, and in the piercing collision, he only stumbled slightly—but what really killed was a petrification charm in front of Brandi and the wooden stick that Ron held high, and with a muffled sound, the protective charm broke, and he fell to the ground, a huge bulge bulging on the back of his sparsely haired head.
But the wizard behind him reacted very quickly, his shrewd skew dodging Harry's subsequent spells, and at the same time he turned his wand at Ron, who was lifting the wooden stick again, and uttered a string of unintelligible syllables in his mouth. But Ron was suddenly pulled by something invisible in the air, and he was close at hand, but the spell only hit his arm, and with a snap, Ron's body seemed to be whipped hard, and he fell to the floor with a whirl.
"Hell!" Harry cursed, reflexively pounced, jumped on top of the wizard, and snatched his wand with the man—he felt like he was clutching a layer of cold, slippery ice. "Brandy!" Harry exclaimed.
"Get out of the way! Tarsal snake! ”
Harry flashed to the side as a fiery serpent shot out of Brandy's wand and wrapped around the wizard's arm, and he let out a scream as his arm shrank, and the spell that had been aimed at Harry slid past his arm. But the fiery serpent did not mean to stop there, it began to wander around his body, turning into a fiery rope, enveloping him and his dark blue protective magic, making a sizzling burning sound on the surface - the fiery serpent spell is absolutely bad news for the wizard who has blessed the protective charm, it will attach to the surface of the protective charm, and force the mana above to be used as fuel to burn until the wizard touches the shield and burns it to charcoal, or the magic is completely exhausted and passes out.
No one wanted to be burned alive, so in less than three seconds, the struggling wizard withered and fell limply.
"Let's get out of here!" Brandi said loudly, successfully knocking out the two adult wizards, but there was no joy on his face.
In less than a minute, the sound of hurried footsteps immediately sounded in the mansion, which had just been dead silent, and the wizards who were waiting downstairs heard the sound and were rushing in the direction of the third floor.
"What about Padma?" Harry stepped forward to pick up a muffled Ron, his arm swelled so badly from the spell that his bare wrist was covered in black bruises. "Leave her here, and she'll be recited by Mr. Petill!"
"We're going to take her with us... Hermione, come and help me—" Brandi said quickly, he made up his mind. "If it's true that you're doing what you say, there's a lot of danger outside the mansion. I think we'll have to believe it at this point, and we'll head south - to find the house-elf Kaf! ”
With that, he rushed to the side of the big bed, intending to pick Padma up. He was about to reach out when a sudden scream from Hermione came from next to him.
"What's wrong?" Brandi turned her head in panic, and Hermione's head peeked out of the cloak, her face horribly white.
"Look there, quick!" Her fingers trembled and pointed to Brandy's back, where the windowsill had fallen, where Mr. Pettier had fallen. "The letter!"
Letter?! Brandi looked back impatiently and behind him—he was speechless with horror!
None of the people in the battle noticed the strange scene, and the envelope, which had just been stagnant beside Padma, suddenly flew straight up again, and flew out of the window slowly—the spell on it was a humanoid tracking spell against Padma!
If the envelope stayed here for a long time, he suddenly chose to leave the Pettier Mansion...... Does that mean that Padma left this room after being in this room for a while? But......
The four men panicked and opened their mouths wide.
Who is this girl in front of you?! What the hell is going on!
