Originally, high-speed Internet network equipment has long been included in the list of technological blockades by the United States.

In 2015, the sale of Intel computing cards was banned from four supercomputing centers in Donghua.

Now Taihu Light uses the 28nm process, which is already 5 times the performance of Titan, and if Taihu Light upgrades from a 28nm processor to 7nm, it is not impossible for this gap to become 10 times.

So Intel never dared to agree to this request casually.

Qualcomm also has its own considerations, originally only authorized CDMA and CDMA-related core patents to Donghua, and now it wants to license all its patents for free, and also allow Donghua to license again.

This is tantamount to sharing their own patents with Donghua, but Donghua does not need their patents to share with themselves.
