Act15 Mine Defense I.
From the small town of Lorenz to the Ampton mines in the Nogo mountains, after a flat trade route, you are close to the edge of the mountains.
The terrain began to become undulating, and the trails in the mountains and forests were relatively rough, and one of Randall's family guards took out the map, compared it to the markings, and he took the lead.
He was the guide of the journey, and in the hands of those who could be found by Randall for the time being, he was the only one who knew the journey—
Years earlier, he had followed the knights of the Jeffrey family on a hunting trip to the Nogo Mountains, just past the Ampton mines.
The mountain road leading to the mine was actually uncomplicated, with only eight forks in the road and a long winding curve.
This group of more than 30 people was all on horseback, so the speed of the march was very fast.
Along the way, there is a winter mountain landscape, most of the trees and shrubs have lost their leaves, and only a few dark-colored branches remain, between which you can occasionally see a touch of green, which is common in Northland Nogo, and the roots of pine needles stand like an upside-down sword.
However, at this time, Randall didn't have much to enjoy the scenery, and he couldn't wait to put on his wings and fly to the Ampton mine immediately-
A few days ago, he had already picked up a quill and a piece of paper: for every day of delay in this medium-sized iron ore mine, the Jeffrey family would lose at least fifty rays.
He calculated it based on the highest daily production of a mine on record. For the Jeffrey family, there is no shortage of miners in the small towns of Tarun and Lorenz, and that number may be even higher.
Time is money –
Now he can fully appreciate the meaning of this proverb.
My heart burned like a fire.
Randall, who was riding on horseback and swaying slightly, raised his head, and in the gray sky, the sunlight was gradually becoming stronger, dispelling the white mist in front of him.
"Aiden, how much longer."
"We're a third of the way, Master Randall."
The guard, "Aiden," replied respectfully.
