Chapter Thirty-Eight: Getting Ready to Do Something

In the most conspicuous position of the newspaper, there was a photograph of an upper-body portrait who looked to be in his thirties, and next to the portrait was a line of enlarged and bold English.

Tony Stark, the helmsman of Stark Industries, was kidnapped by terrorists at a US military base in Afghanistan! That's what the top line of the newspaper says in bold English.

At first, Patch didn't think much of it when he saw the bust, but then when he saw the line, he couldn't help but be stunned.

"Tony Stark has been kidnapped!" When she came back to her senses, Patch thought to herself, and her mind couldn't help but think about it.

Thinking back to the memories of the movie plot that remained in his mind, he remembered that Tony seemed to have been entrusted by the military to travel to Afghanistan to show them the new missiles that Stark Industries had recently developed.

However, after the new missile was demonstrated, Tony's military jeep was attacked by a local terrorist group, and Tony was arrested by the terrorists for the attack.

"It looks like Iron Man is about to be born." Patch thought to himself, narrowing his eyes.

The next thing is what impresses Patch the most, Patch clearly remembers that after Tony was kidnapped by this group of terrorists, he pretended to help the group of terrorists make new missiles, but with the help of a pile of broken copper and iron in the cave, he made the first generation of steel armor.

As soon as he thought of this, Patch couldn't help but sincerely admire Tony Stark, who had a lot of high education, a lot of knowledge reserves and strong hands-on ability, compared with him, Patch felt that those top students in China in his previous life, the top students in the college entrance examination were very weak.

This is a hard-working talent!

In fact, a long time ago, after Patch knew that the world he came to was the Marvel Universe, he thought of Tony Stark's kidnapping, and he had the idea of saving him.

In this case, if he rescues Tony Stark, not to mention more, at least a mansion Tony will still give him! It's a life-saving grace again, and people are rich, so it's not bad for such a little money, isn't it?

If there was a mansion, Patch would be able to take the big guys Hab, Owen, and Orriana from the Void Exchange right away.

But after some careful consideration, Patch quickly dismissed the idea.

It's a good idea, but it's not practical for Patch!

Although Patchy knew that Tony was kidnapped in Afghanistan, Afghanistan is not small, and God knows where Tony was kidnapped in such a big place.

And even if Patch finds Tony and successfully rescues him, but you are a non-relative person who somehow ran so far from the United States to save him, it is hard to guarantee that Tony will not have any bad thoughts, maybe Tony thinks that this kidnapping is deliberately made by Patsy!

When the time comes, there will be no mansions, and when Patch wakes up the next day, he will see a room full of American GIs with guns.

Although Patch is not afraid, but this kind of obviously thankless thing to do, after thinking about it, he still thinks forget it!

It's just that although there is no hope for the mansion, there is still some idea for another thing, Patch.

Squinting at the corners of his mouth and a hint of an inexplicable smile, Patch knew he had a lot to do in the future.

…………

After paying the bill at Aunt Grant's small supermarket, Patch took Elizabeth in one hand and a large bag of groceries in the other.

As soon as he returned to the cabin, Patch saw Elizabeth's eyelids starting to fight.

Although Elizabeth is a magical life created by Patch, she is very different from Orianna and Owen in essence, so to speak, Elizabeth is almost the closest magical life to a normal human created by Patch.

And this afternoon Patch took her for a long walk around New York, and Elizabeth couldn't help but feel a little tired after the excitement of coming to Earth had passed.

"Elizabeth, are you tired?" Patch reached out and hugged Elizabeth after asking this nonsense.

Elizabeth nodded sleepily in Patci's arms.

"Then I'll take you to bed!" After receiving Elizabeth's response, Patch carried her to the side of the bed and gently put her on the bed.

Gently removing Elizabeth's shoes, Patch covered her with a thin quilt.

"Good night, Dad." Before going to sleep, Elizabeth yawned and said to Patch.

"Good night." Patch smiled slightly, kissed her lightly on the forehead, and reached out to pull the thin quilt off Elizabeth's body a little more.

Standing quietly on the edge of the bed, until Elizabeth's breathing slowed down and fell into a complete dream, Patch turned and walked away from the bed.

Picking up the cup and pouring herself a cup of coffee, Patch took the cup and sat down gently in the chair in front of the desk.

As soon as he sat down and took a sip of his coffee, Patch's eyes began to roll, and he couldn't help but think of the big news he had just seen in the newspaper.

"Tony has been kidnapped, Iron Man is about to be born, and there is a lot to be done in between!" Patch thought to herself, her lips pursed slightly, and she couldn't help but draw a strange arc.

"It's just that I'll have to think about what to do." Frowning slightly, Patch took another sip of coffee from his cup, his mind spinning rapidly.

After sitting at his desk for more than half an hour, and a cup of coffee had already been drunk, Patch slowly stood up.

Glancing back at Elizabeth who was asleep, Patch gently pushed open the door and walked out into the aisle outside the cabin.

But as soon as he walked out of the room, Patch's brow furrowed again.

Because he felt a few more peeping glances coming at him.

Patch's spirits spread out, and he quickly found the people around him who were spying on him, and sure enough, these were the same ones that Patch had been when he had returned during the day.

"These guys are really dedicated, don't they all need to sleep at such a late hour?" With a pout, Patch shook his head and complained helplessly in his heart.

"If it weren't for the temporary inability to move you, I would really like to use the fire of purgatory to ash you all."

Shaking his head again, Patch waved his hand and unleashed a Mist Barrier spell that covered the aisle he was in.

Because of some of the next things, Patch didn't want some outsiders to see, so he ......

The necessary precautions still need to be taken.

Although the spell of this fog barrier has no effect, and can only simply cause some visual errors to people outside the spell's range, it is obviously still very useful for Patch now.

After taking a simple precaution, Patch whispered into the air, "Culens! ”
