Chapter 1: The First Coming
Dizzy, spinning, Ning An felt his brain sink into chaos, he took a deep breath, and then opened his eyes as if he had suddenly raised his head from under the water.
"Where is this?"
When Ning An opened his eyes and looked around, he found that the surrounding displays and furnishings were not the appearance of his own house at all.
The tiled blue wallpaper was plastered all over the wall, and next to the bed was a brown-red writing desk filled with all kinds of small toys, and behind the table was a white-framed window through which the blue sky could be seen directly.
In terms of distance, it seems to be some distance from the ground, as if it were the second floor of a house.
"What's going on?" Ning An's mind was full of question marks, he remembered that he had read the Harry Potter series of novels last night, and he had been reading all night in excitement for a while, and it was not until dawn the next day that he fell asleep in a daze.
But when he woke up, he found that everything around him had changed, and no matter where it was, the only thing he could be sure of was that this was not his home.
"Ning'an—" A sudden shout came from outside the house.
"Is this calling me?"
"Dinner time - Ning An, your meal should be cold no matter how hard you go."
This voice sounded very unfamiliar, and Ning An lived alone, and no one at home would call him to eat.
Anyway, he was going to get out of bed first, so he sat up with his hands.
However, what surprised him even more was that his hands had somehow become small and tender, which did not look like a pair of adult palms at all, but more like a child.
He hurriedly got off the bed, and hastily stepped on a pair of yellow slippers with cartoon characters on the ground, needless to say, the slippers were also small, but at this time, Ning An didn't care about these, he hurried to a full-length mirror next to the desk.
"Oh my God, what the hell is going on!" What appeared in the mirror was an ordinary little boy, with fine black hair, black pupils, and a delicate face, but at this time he showed a nervous and panicked look.
Because Ning An knew that although the little boy in the mirror was somewhat similar to himself when he was a child, it was definitely not himself, because he had already passed this age.
"What the hell is going on? Could it be that I crossed over? Or is it reborn? Ning An had to forcibly suppress the uneasiness in his heart, he asked himself that he had also read a lot of novels and movies, and traveling to other worlds was not a new episode for him.
Just when Ning An stepped on his slippers, slowly walked back to the bed step by step, sat down, and thought about what happened.
The white door not far away was suddenly pushed open, and an old woman with gray hair walked in with her back slightly hunched.
"Ning'an, I'm going to tell you a few times, why do you have to delay so long every time you eat—you see, my stewed potatoes are cold again—"
Although her tone was a little stern, the expression on her face was not scary, as if she deliberately made a terrible appearance to scare Ning An.
But Ning'an just looked at the old woman who suddenly came in in a daze, stunned, he was completely speechless.
Because he didn't know the old man in front of him at all, not to mention that this old man was not the Chinese he was most familiar with, although his hair was gray, Ning An could still see that the old woman was clearly European and American!
At this moment, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head, as if someone was sawing Ning An's skull apart little by little with a saw.
Ning An covered her head and fell on the bed in pain, and the old woman was also startled, she took a few steps forward in a panic, came to the side of the bed, supported Ning An's fallen body, and asked anxiously:
"Oh my God—what's wrong with you, Ning'an? Where is it uncomfortable——? ”
The sound in his ears was as indistinct as if he had been separated by a thick layer of water, and in addition to the pain, Ning An could only feel an uncontrollable itch running down his ears as if drilling into his brain.
At the same time, familiar images flashed through his mind, and these scenes made him feel strange and familiar at the same time, which was a wonderful feeling, as if he had experienced it himself, but then forgot it.
In this way, it seemed that a long time had passed, and it seemed that less than a second had passed, and many memories that did not belong to him suddenly appeared in Ning An's mind.
Then, the pain subsided like a tide, and in just a few seconds, Ning An was already sweating profusely, and the short-sleeved T-shirt he was wearing was also soaked with sweat.
"I'm fine, Isabella—I just had a leg cramp." Ning An waved his hand at the old woman who was looking at him with concern, and said comfortingly with a smile.
"Really? Ning'an? You didn't look like you had leg cramps just now—" The old woman looked suspicious, and couldn't help but say worriedly, "I think we'd better go to the hospital to have a look—"
"Oh my God, don't make such a fuss, Grandma Isabella—I'm really fine—" Ning An jumped from the bed to the ground, tugged at the old woman's sleeve, and began to coquettishly say:
"I'm really all right—oh-oh-eat, yes, I know—soon, right now, right down—"
As he spoke, he pushed the old man out of the room.
"It's really okay——?" Being dragged by Ning An's sleeves, Isabella said as she walked with a worried face:
"Then you should hurry down and eat—it will be completely cold in a while!"
"I know, Grandma Isabella——!" With a bang, Ning An closed the door, and the sound of Isabella's footsteps descending the stairs could be heard behind his ears.
Only then did he put away his coquettish smile and showed a serious expression on his face.
After the headache just now, there were many more memories in his mind, which made Ning An understand that he might really have crossed over.
The place where he is now is the United Kingdom, and the name of this child's body happens to be the same as him, also called Ning An, and he is Chinese.
And the old woman's name is Isabella, she did not have children when she was young, her husband died a few years ago, and Isabella adopted Ning An, who was still a child, from the orphanage, and the two have lived together since then, and it has been three years now.
In the blink of an eye, Ning An is now ten years old.
All this undoubtedly points to the fact that Ning An has crossed over, and what excites him the most is a memory in his mind.
The place where he lives is located at No. 6 Privet Road, Little Whinging, in Surrey, southeast England, how could Ning An, who was still reading the Harry Potter series of novels all night last night, not know this address?
Isn't Harry Potter's home at No. 4 Privet Road in Little Huijin!
And in Ning An's memory, it seems that the family who lived in the opposite house is indeed surnamed Dursley, which really excites him, as an orphan, he has nothing to worry about in the former world, what could be more exciting than traveling to the world of Harry Potter!?
