Chapter 3: The World of Superheroes
After King Kong Barbie left, Patch couldn't wait to open the virtual panel of the main god space and check out the two functions it said.
A series of introductory texts fell into Patch's eyes-
The divinity of the main god: the superordinate rule godhead formed by non-human operation in the endless universe, this godhead has the special attributes of time and space, and the new main god's own energy specifications will automatically open after reaching a certain level.
"Isn't this equivalent to the passive skill of LOL heroes! Why are you still talking so lofty? β
Patch spit and looked down again.
Skill exchange: All super character skills, mystical side knowledge skills, transcendent skills, and science and technology knowledge skills in the infinite world created by the main god, because the previous main god only created a technological plane, in order to make up for the loss of the new main god's space host, the Resource Management Department of the Blue and White Society specially presented the new main god with the relevant skill exchange of the three dimensional worlds.
All skills in this feature must be exchanged for Transcendent Energy into Exchange Points, so please keep up the good work for the new Lord God Space Host.
This feature involves specific plane worlds: Resident Evil World, World of Warcraft, Wizarding World, and League of Legends World.
"If I go, there will only be four worlds?"
After reading all the introductions, Patch was really speechless, looked at the gray roof, and said weakly: "Poor my dream against the sky was shattered before it began. β
After a sudden sense of loss, Patch smiled again: "It's okay, at least it's a great golden finger, these four worlds are at least not as wasted as the unreliable main god before." β
"Hey, that's right." A flash of light flashed through Patch's mind.
He clearly remembered that King Kong Lori seemed to have recharged him with a thousand exchange points before leaving.
"Hey, hey, let's see what's there......"
Reaching out and clicking on the skill exchange panel, Patch excitedly looked at the things displayed on the virtual panel.
But before he could see two minutes, Patch was immediately forced again.
"Advanced AI Red Queen: From the world of Resident Evil, exchange points required: 30,000."
"T-Virus Mutated Version: From the world of Resident Evil, exchange points required: 20,000."
"Frozen Throne of Arthas: From the world of Warcraft, exchange points required: 100,000."
"Treading the Wind - Fist of the Heavens: From the World of Warcraft, Exchange Points Required: 80,000."
"Heart of Doom: From Wizarding World, exchange points required: 100,000."
"Morello Secret Archive: From the world of League of Legends, exchange points required: 80,000."
β¦β¦β¦β¦
After reading these things introduced above, Patch felt very helpless, extremely helpless.
Looking at the long string of zeros behind these artifacts, he asked which of these things he could afford to exchange now?
"What a pit! Sinkhole! Why are they all high-end artifacts, can't they have a few cheaper things? Patch spread her hands and stared at the virtual panel with a pair of dead fish eyes.
Then he swiped the virtual panel and looked down a few times, even the cheapest thing cost more than 3,000 exchange points, and it was only then that Patch was completely desperate.
"Alas, the revolution has not yet succeeded, and comrades still need to work hard." With a bitter face, Patch prepared to close the virtual panel.
But just as he raised his hand, a mechanical and electronic sound suddenly sounded in his head.
"Sao Nian, as the new Lord God, please don't be discouraged and don't despair."
"Honorable as me, the previous Lord God, Kibadayetchanovsky, had already anticipated your predicament and specially prepared a newcomer gift package for you, and you only need a thousand exchange points to get the supernatural abilities you dreamed of."
"Sao Nian, come and redeem it!"
-- The noble and great Lord God, Kibadayet, Qianglovskyu.
Patch's raised hand stopped abruptly in midair, and as he finished speaking, a page popped up in front of him.
"What's that?"
Patch couldn't help but look at it intently, and whispered, "Orlando AndrΓ©s Googore's Wizarding Truth." β
That's right! What appeared in front of Patch's eyes was a projection of a book, and Patch was reading its name.
"Looks pretty awesome."
Patch redeemed the book without thinking about it, because he really didn't have any other choice now.
The 1,000 exchange points in Patch's personal account on the virtual panel were instantly emptied to zero, and at the same time, a book flew out of the void and landed in his hand.
The black cover is wrapped in an eerie black mist, and a blurred human face can be seen looming in the mist.
Not caring about any of this, Patch looked through it impatiently.
The book recorded an unknown text, a text that Patch had never seen in his previous life, but he could read it.
"I knew there was absolutely no such thing." It took more than an hour to roughly scan the contents of the wizard's true explanation, and Patch angrily closed the book again.
"Damn, it's obviously a primer for junior wizards, so I don't have to give it such a lofty name."
"Teasing me? Right! Throwing the wizard book on the bed, Patch got up and walked out the door.
β¦β¦β¦β¦
After going to the orphanage's cafeteria for lunch, Patch was about to go back to his room when he was stopped by Magellan, who was on a cane.
"Little Patch, come with me to my office."
"Okay, Grandpa Magellan."
Patch walked over and picked up the trembling Priest Magellan and helped him all the way to his office.
"Little Patch, you made me feel very different today."
After helping Priest Magellan to sit down, he leaned his staff aside and said.
Having just lifted the lockdown fifteen years ago, Patch's temperament does seem very different from before.
However, although he was surprised by Magellan's keen senses, Patch did not confide in him much.
"Grandpa Magellan, it's just your delusion, I'm still Patch, nothing has changed."
Priest Magellan smiled and shook his head, changing the subject: "Little Patch, you will have to leave the orphanage in a few months, have you thought about what you want to do in the future?" β
According to the law of the United States, children who grow up in orphanages must leave on time after the age of 16 and go to work on their own, because in the United States, at the age of 16, they can already assume legal responsibility on their own and can already be regarded as an adult.
Patch was only a few months away from turning sixteen, which meant that he would have to leave the orphanage and work in society to support himself.
"I don't know." Patch smiled bitterly and said, "Leave it to fate!" You can always find a suitable job to support yourself. β
"Little Patch, it doesn't matter what kind of work she can do. This is a free country, and as long as you protect yourself and don't harm others, I'll be satisfied. β
Priest Magellan picked up his cane and stood up, patted Patch on the shoulder, and said with a smile.
"I will." Patch nodded, in a deep voice.
In the orphanage, not only Sister Meavis, but also the dean, Priest Magellan, was very kind to him, a veteran who survived the Nazis on the battlefield of World War II, and had a very righteous life credo, that is, "peace".
The wounds left by war on the people of the world are not only physical, but also mental, and Magellan is well aware of this.
Although it is now an era of peace in the United States, crimes are still emerging all over the country, and Magellan did not want Patch to embark on such a path in the future because of his difficult life, so he deliberately reminded him.
"That's good." After hearing Patch's answer, the elderly Magellan priest couldn't help but smile with relief.
"Grandpa Magellan, if nothing else, I'll go first."
Priest Magellan nodded slightly.
But just as Patchy turned to leave, he suddenly saw something that shocked him beyond measure.
Turning his head suddenly, Patch pointed to a wall in his office and asked Priest Magellan in a dumbfounded voice, "Grandpa Magellan, what ......is this?" What is it? β
Looking in the direction of Patch's finger, I saw a poster taped to the wall.
The poster shows a stout man in a tight-fitting combat suit, with blue stars and a five-pointed star, and his combat uniform is the same color as the American flag. The man holds a shield in his hand and strikes in a cool pose.
"Captain America! What's wrong? Priest Magellan couldn't understand why Patch was so surprised, and asked aloud.
Captain America! Captain America!
Patch's mind was thundering, like ten million horses galloping by.
He didn't think that the nearly ninety-year-old old man of Magellan Priest would be a fan of Captain America in Marvel Comics or movies.
So...... Apparently there is only one possibility!
"Captain America Steve Rogers was the spiritual symbol of our generation of veterans, defeating the Nazis and destroying Hydra, and Captain America was basically the object of worship of all ordinary soldiers like me in those days."
"Little Patch, you've seen this poster countless times since you were a child, what else is there to be surprised about!"
"I remember when you were seven years old, you vowed to be someone like Captain America!"
Priest Magellan's words confirmed Patch's suspicions, and Patch's mind was still foggy until he walked out of the office.
Borrowing the only computer in the orphanage, Patch frantically searched for everything he wanted to know.
"Captain America, Tony Stark, World War II Nazis, Hydra ......"
"It's the Marvel World here."
"The special thing here is that there are Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor...... The Marvel world of these superheroes. β
"Oh my God!"
