Chapter 2: Dobby and the Burrow
Poor Harry didn't receive any letters from his friends all summer long, which made Harry a little annoyed, and Hedwig kept biting the cage there, all of which made Harry's already depressed mood even worse.
"Harry Potter." Uncle Vernon began to roar downstairs.
"You're happy now." Harry sighed helplessly.
……
After some argument, Harry went upstairs in frustration, pretending not to be himself, and pushed the door open, to which Harry was startled to a skinny monster with eyes the size of an electric lamp, a long, pointed nose, and a pair of bat ears bouncing excitedly on his bed.
"Who are you?!" Harry hurriedly closed the door and asked.
"Dobby, house-elf Dobby." With that, the little monster bowed to Harry.
"It's not that I'm not rude, but my room is not suitable for house-elves." Harry said eagerly, and then turned to look down the door, for fear that Uncle Vernon would open the door and come in.
"It's okay, Dobby understands perfectly, Dobby just has one thing to say...... It was so hard to talk about that Dobby didn't know what to say. ”
"Do you want to sit down?" Harry looked at Dobby's painful appearance on the bed and asked.
"Sit down?! Sit down?! As if he had heard something unbearable, Dobby jumped out of bed crying and began to cry wildly, much to the surprise of Harry, who was on the sidelines, not knowing what to do.
"Dobby, I didn't mean to offend you."
"Offended, no, no, Dobby knew that Harry Potter was an amazing wizard, but Dobby didn't expect him to be so great, no wizard had ever treated Dobby as an equal, no wizard had ever made Dobby sit down......" Dobby cried out and cried to show his respect for Harry Potter.
……
The conversation didn't go well, and Harry didn't know which of his words had touched Dobby's nerves, and Dobby kept banging his head against the door and the lamp, which even provoked Uncle Vernon to rush upstairs to warn him that he must be quiet, and that he would regret it if he disturbed him in negotiating the biggest deal ever.
But what followed was really bad.
"You now know why I want to go back, I belong to your world, I belong to Hogwarts. I only have friends there. Harry wanted the house-elf in front of him to stop those dangerous thoughts, such as not allowing himself to return to Hogwarts.
"Don't those friends write to Harry Potter?" A sly smile flashed across Dobby's face.
"I think they might be...... Be...... Wait, how do you know they didn't write to me? Harry wanted to argue a few words for his friend, but as if something suddenly occurred to him, he turned around and asked rhetorically.
"Don't be angry with Dobby, Harry Potter just thinks that if Harry Potter thinks his friends have forgotten about him, Harry Potter doesn't want to go back to school." As he spoke, Dobby pulled out a stack of letters from behind him.
"Now! Send me these letters. Harry snapped.
"No!"
During the chase, Harry and Dobby ran downstairs and looked at the cake in the dining room, Dobby's face flashed a sly smile again, and with a snap of his fingers, the cake floated. Everything went to the unfathomable abyss.
……
Dobby's plan was very successful, Uncle Vernon's business was not negotiated, and he was so angry that he welded Harry's window with a burglar net, installed a dozen different locks on the door, and put the key close to him, and Uncle Vernon said proudly outside the door: "I won't allow you to go back to that school!" I'm not going to let you see your strange friends again. ”
……
At night, Harry felt as if he heard the sound of a car engine, put on his glasses, looked out the window, and Harry cried out in surprise.
"Ron, Fred, George, why are you here?" Harry looked at the car flying in mid-air, and there was a surprise in his tone.
"Of course I'm here to save you, man! Don't go get your luggage yet. Ron said smugly.
Harry thought that Uncle Vernon's heart might not be able to accept it, and after a roar of the engine, the security net was pulled down, and Uncle Vernon, who came to stop him, fell from the window on the second floor, all like a dream.
Unbeknownst to Harry, across the street from the Dursleys, a skinny old lady had seen it all through the cracks in the curtains.
……
"It's not big, but it's a family." Harry felt that Ron's words were a bit excessive, that this was "a home". To Harry, the Burrow is a fantasy castle where magic can be used at will, from mirrors to self-knitting sweaters and self-washing dishes.
What amazed Harry the most was Mrs. Weasley's large clock, which had nine hands, and at the end of each one was a small photograph representing the nine members of the Weasley family, each pointing to a different place.
For example, Ron, Fred, and George's pointers have just moved from "out" to "home", and Mr. Weasley's pointer is to work, all of which are so new to Harry, Harry, who came to the wizarding family for the first time, began to play like a loose pony.
Go with Fred and George to the garden and throw the goblins and throw the poor little ones with such a hard spin as they turn, which will effectively prevent them from finding them back.
Cleaning the chicken coop and pigsty with Ron and Ginny, I have to mention here that Ginny will make a big red face every time she sees Harry, and will always unconsciously bump into something, except for the sluggish Harry and Ron, everyone can see that Ginny is interested in Harry.
The three little ones, who were poor in magical knowledge, could only pick up brooms and dustpans for their hard work, and Mrs. Weasley seemed happy to see this, stopping Mr. Weasley from picking up his wand and trying to help.
It is worth mentioning that Mrs. Weasley's craftsmanship is very good, although the ingredients are very simple, but the cooking is really careful, it can be seen that Mrs. Weasley loves her family very much, and has put a lot of effort into this, just look at the "Magic for Your Cheese", "The Magic of Toasting", and "How to Make a Table of Feasts" on the bookcase. In the food made by Mrs. Weasley, there is a mother's love, and Mrs. Weasley even forces Harry to add four meals per meal. During his time at the Burrow, Harry felt that this was really his most open time, until ......
A week later, on a sunny morning, a letter from Hogwarts arrived. The poor owl named Errol of the Ron family unsurprisingly hit the window, and when Posey got the letter back, he handed a letter to Harry, and it turned out that Harry's letter had also been sent here, "Dumbledore, he's so powerful. Mr. Weasley said.
"A must-have book for sophomores...... Alchemy textbooks: "The Magic Script You Don't Know" by Bernard Rochefort, "The Mystery of Symbols" by Bernard Rochefort, "Analysis of the Principles of Alchemy" by Bernard Rochefort ......"
"Defence Against the Dark Arts textbooks: Travels with Ghouls by Gilderoy Lockhart, Vacation with the Dominatrix by Gilderoy Lockhart, I Can Magic by Gilderoy Lockhart, Travels with Mountain Monsters by Gilderoy Lockhart, Traveling with Vampires by Gilderoy Lockhart, Wandering with Werewolves by Gilderoy Lockhart, A Year with a Tibetan Yeti by Gilderoy Lockhart, Travels with Ghouls by Gilderoy Lockhart......"
"Oh, do you want to buy Lockhart's full set of books, too?" George Road. "The teacher of this new Defence Against the Dark Arts is certainly also a fan of Lockhart's books. I bet he's a witch. ”
"Oh, these spell books don't come cheap!" Fred exclaimed.
"It's okay, we'll figure it out!" Mrs. Weasley's face was sad, but she comforted Fred.
"Oh, there's a letter here, for Ron." Posey said.
"Dear Ron, and Harry (if you're here): I hope your plans go well and Harry is safe. Ron, don't do anything illegal to get Harry out, because that will cause Harry more trouble. I've been worried about Harry lately and don't know what is going on with him. If you know about him, write to me right away. I've been studying with Professor Rochefort lately, so I probably don't have time to write to you, so if I can, let's meet at Gringotts in Diagon Alley next Wednesday. Also, I would like to say that you had better go and change to an owl to deliver letters, I don't think Errol can support a long flight, after all, I'm not in the country right now......"
"Oh my God, Hermione is still studying, Professor Rochefort, this is a holiday, shouldn't we have a break during the holiday?" Ron exclaimed.
