Chapter Seventy-Seven: The Ancient Frost Palace (2)

This palace, built thousands of years ago, was a great shock to the adventurer Butos. Walls made of ice, statues far more beautiful than elven creations, and reliefs that record the history of the northern ice fields are displayed in front of Butos.

Butos cautiously probed forward with the "Tears of the Shark" as he looked around. The cunning Jerusar, even though he was seriously wounded, did not leave any clues on the ground. Butos now has to rely on courage to explore this strange place.

Butos walked cautiously forward, carefully stepping over the scattered icy treasures and fragments. Suddenly, a loud noise came from a certain direction in the palace. Immediately afterward, the whole palace began to tremble.

Butos' brow furrowed. "Looks like Yarusar has found the scepter, and I must hurry there. Butos thought to himself as he uttered the incantation. Charles's cloak flickered slightly, and then Butos's form was hidden in the shadows.

As he swooped, Butos hurried in the direction from which the sound came, the trembling palace making the already uneven surface even more difficult to walk.

Suddenly, a low, angry dragon roar came from the inside of the palace.

THE MOMENT HE HEARD THE LOUD NOISE, BUTOS THOUGHT IT WAS MOSIHRZA'S VOICE. But upon closer inspection, the roar seemed to come from another mighty dragon.

Butos's pupils contracted suddenly. Perhaps the fear of dragons is innate to humans.

Ice began to fall from the top of the palace, and Butos sped up his pace, holding the "Tears of the Shark" tightly in his hands. This is the only force he can confront Yarusal.

“DZARIK PULUNASI!” An angry dragon voice came from the innermost part of the palace.

Butos guessed that the dragon was supposed to be the guardian of the palace.

Yarusal's voice also appeared in the palace, but it was too weak compared to the dragons' movements.

When Butos arrived at the innermost part of the palace, he finally saw the cunning Jerusar and the giant ice dragon.

If it weren't for the ice dragon's head shaking slightly, Butos would have even thought it was a huge statue.

Jerusar was communicating with the Ice Dragon in the language of the Orcs, though her tone was humble and respectful. But she still couldn't appease the ice dragon's anger.

Butos, who was sneaking, cautiously walked to a safe corner.

A chill emanated from the ice dragon's mouth: "UKSKSA DUYTRAF!"

Yalesar bowed down to the ice dragon and said, "Napruoss Dirualaf.Nusis Kuluburer."

The ice dragon's gaze was still cold, and it shook its body slightly, and then slowly walked towards Yarusar.

The ground of the palace began to tremble again.

Butos barely stood against the wall, the dragon's intimidating power should not be underestimated.

However, as soon as the ice dragon began to move slowly, Butos seemed to see something glittering with an icy blue light above the palace.

Butos's eyes were drawn to the holy treasure, and the walls were faintly reflected in the light and shadow of the treasure, and in the haze, Butos judged that it should be a cane-like thing.

The ice dragon was getting closer and closer to Yarusal, and Butos was getting closer and closer to the staff.

Butos was convinced that it was the Scepter, that it was what he was going to fight for with Yarusal.

“DUKSA PAELUXIS.” The ice dragon's mouth continued to roar, and its eyes were full of anger and threat at Jerusar.

Yarusar lowered his head any further, and it was hard to imagine that a shaman, who was a priest of the beast clan, could behave like such a subservient at this moment.

Butos felt the bottom of the wall closest to the Scepter, and at this moment, he couldn't help but be glad that he and Ashley had bought the charr cloak by mistake, this extraordinary stealth ability was too useful at such a juncture.

When Butos thought of Ashley, he couldn't help but feel a wave of tenderness in his heart. But soon, Butos pulled his distant thoughts back, and now, he had to complete his task, he had to go back alive and propose to Ashley on her birthday.

Butos began to climb cautiously towards the Scepter, and the cold, smooth walls made it difficult for Butos.

Little by little, Butos climbed upwards.

On the other side, the ice dragon and Yalesar are also communicating. It was clear that the ancient giant ice dragon did not want to do anything inside the palace, and the cunning Yerusar seemed to be trying to trick the ice dragon into trusting her with treacherous language.

The agile Butos was getting shorter and shorter from the Scepter, and if he was given three more minutes, he would be able to remove the Scepter and he would be able to complete the task given to him by the Middle-earth Alliance.

However, just as Butos was inadvertent, the elven sword given to him by the elven king Filas slammed into the rock wall beside him, and in a series of crisp sounds, Butos's elven sword fell to the ground of the palace.

The ice dragon and Yalesar looked in the direction from which the voice came at the same moment. The cold and chill shone in the eyes of the ice dragon, and it seemed to spot a thief trying to get close to the Scepter.

The ice dragon slammed its foot on the ground, and after a loud bang, the ice rocks on the walls of the palace began to fall.

The corners of Yerusar's mouth were slightly raised, and she seemed to have spotted Butos's traces as well.

Butos, who was attached to the wall, could no longer climb towards the Scepter, and large chunks of ice began to fall.

If the identity of the thief is revealed, then the only option for Butos is to become a robber.

Butos leaped out of the shadow of Charles' cloak, and in the air, a sturdy Butos swooped towards the Scepter like an elven rabbit.

The eyes of the ice dragon guarding the palace shone with anger, and a huge cloud of ice breath smashed towards Butoth.

As Butos unleashed his sorcery to resist, he grabbed the sacred staff of sorcery with one hand.
