Chapter Seventy-Seven: Soldiers Coming to the City (Part II)
"A bunch of incompromised creatures, sending bone eaters to kill that human."
Outside the city of Shattrath, the soldiers of the alliance fought bloodily, defending honor and defending the holy city. On the cliff, Illidan scoffed at such behavior. In the eyes of the Demon Hunters, even the Demon Matheriton was defeated by Illidare, and these small humans were not worth mentioning at all.
Soon, a horc berserker covered in heavy armor rushed from the backfield to the Alliance phalanx, their goal was clear: the human warrior standing in the center of the Alliance's army, Varian.
As the sun set in the west, the light became dimmer and dimmer, and the light from the strange plants of the Teroka Forest in the distance illuminated the busy figures of the orcs. Their war machines were approaching, but the Coalition Heavy Infantry Corps led by Varian stood in the way of these giant war machines. Siege towers and siege engines were unable to get close to Shattrath's walls and gates.
After Khadgar's magical storm ended, the orcs' earth-shattering war drums began to sound again, and soon, the drums became more and more intense. It's as if the whole scene is boiling. The blackened clouds rolled through a deep thunderclap, and at first, Varian and the Alliance warriors thought it was a sign of a rainstorm. Soon, however, they discovered that something was wrong. The canopy behind the entire orc battlefield began to slowly turn an eerie dark green.
"A terrible force is converging."
Standing on the walls, Khadgar and Ronin spoke almost simultaneously.
"That's an orc warlock casting a spell!"
In an instant, Khadgar noticed that something was wrong. Obviously, these orc warlocks were coming for Khadgar, and just now the archmage's magic explosion caused chaos in the front line positions of the evil orc army, and now, under the orders of the high-ranking officers of Illidare, the orc warlocks began to fight back.
The power of the demon warlock is so great that hundreds of warlocks unite to cast spells together, suppressing the mage's abilities within a small range. At the same time, the blackened clouds twisted and rolled close to the walls of Shattrath.
After slaying an orc infantry beneath the city, Varian looked up and saw the thick clouds in the sky being torn apart by burning meteorites.
"Hellfire!"
Everyone shouted loudly.
I saw those meteorites wrapped in flames falling from the sky like meteors. With terrifying power, the walls that stood in the way were smashed in an instant.
Shattrath's seemingly sturdy golden walls collapsed under the onslaught of hellfire, and the defenders standing on the walls fell to the ground in a bloody state.
The orc army roared excitedly. With the boulders of the catapult hurled, the Orc army charged towards the Alliance's heavy infantry phalanx again.
A dozen heavily armed orc berserkers scurried through the crowd, and the other orcs in their path gave way to them, standing on the undamaged walls, Winlesa noticed that something was wrong, and she saw that these raging orc warriors were almost all moving in one direction. Their goals are clear......
"Varian!"
Winlessa shouted. But it was too far away for her to tell the Storm King to pay attention. In desperation, the Windranger pulled his bowstring and fired several arrows at the Beast-Eater of Bones in a frenzy. However, the arrows only pinned to the armor and did not do much substantial damage to the Bone Eater itself. Some of the Bone Eater orcs even savagely pulled out their arrows, roared at the rangers on the ramparts, and continued to charge in Varian's direction.
Soon, the first Bone Eater rushed in front of Varian.
The Stormwind King was surprised by the beast in front of him, but he soon calmed down, and in Orgrimmar's Death Arena, he had faced countless terrifying orc gladiators and other beasts of great size, and the orc berserker Bone Eater in front of him was hideous, heavily armed, and bloodthirsty, but it was not impossible to deal with.
When the first Bone Eater rushed up, Varian calmly observed the situation around him, and then ran quickly towards the soldiers behind him. Despite not understanding what the king was trying to do, the soldiers of Stormwind kept their composure. He clenched his shield and stood in place, ready to protect his king.
In the next second, the savage Bone Eater roared and rushed towards Varian, only to see Varian rushing towards his soldiers, and the soldiers of Stormwind were ready to fight the Orc Berserker to the death. However, at this moment, Varian did not rush into his shield array, but jumped and stepped on the soldier's shield as he rushed in front of the soldier, and then this rebound force, jumped high, and the next second, a black shadow appeared above the bone-eater orc.
The bone-eater orc looked up, subconsciously ready to lift his battle axe, but it was too late. King Varian of Stormwind. Wryon clenched his sword in both hands in mid-air, letting out a lion-like roar.
At this moment, he was even more fierce than the orc berserker, and with a single sword, he pierced the throat of the bone eater.
A large amount of black blood gushed out of the throat of the orc berserker. Stained Varian's Eagle shoulders black and red.
However, as the crowd cheered for their king, more bone-eating orcs rushed up from the backfield.
"Protect the King!"
After seeing the situation clearly, Duke Berval stepped forward as soon as possible and led the elite guards of Stormwind to surround Varian.
Soon, the second, third, and fourth bone-eater orcs appeared in everyone's sight. They attacked Varian almost simultaneously, however, the Stormwind Royal Guard and Berval blocked their attack, making room for Varian.
Bathed in the blood of his enemies, Varian once again raised his sword, roaring and breaking the sword of Salamoni in his hand, and in an instant, the sword of the ancient elves was split in two, the two long swords each exuding a fiery heat and ice-like cold, and Varian held the sword in one hand, making the attack more fluid and swift.
He jumped again and tore open the shoulders of one of the Bone Eaters, and before they could turn around, Varian's two swords had already pierced the body of the Bone Eater from behind, and with the sound of iron armor grinding, the swords pulled out of the orc's body. And kicked the bone eater to the ground, scarlet and black blood water continued to drip from the tips of the two long swords, and when another bone eater orc swung his battle axe in a rage, Varian responded again, brandishing a big sword, squatting, cutting off the orc's calf, and the tall orc berserker suddenly let out an extremely painful scream, and then, when the opponent was half-kneeling on the ground, Varian roared loudly, wielding two big swords vigorously, and the two swords crossed over, cutting the head of the orc warrior out of the air.
At this moment, Varian is more like a true berserker than a berserk bloodthirsty bone-eater......
